- View reports you've saved to the web or generated with ComicBase Sidekick
- Lookup comic information and values by scanning a comic's barcode with your phone's camera, or by typing in its title and issue number
- Add new comics to your collection while you're on the go. Then use ComicBase's "Internet > Check for New Sales and Purchases" command when you're back at your desk to automatically add your new comics to your main database.
The app is free, but requires a current subscription to ComicBase Professional or Archive Edition.

Edit: Scan was fun while it lasted. Hasn't worked for a while now. Original: Not sure what did it. But after multiple password resets and clearing of online reports and databases, it seems to be working. Interface is a bit awkward, but it has potential. And just having the ability to scan scan barcodes is a big plus.
Wonderful app. CB staff stay on top of any issues when or IF they ever happen. They respond back to your inquiries and issues if any. Unfortunately, recently the program has been freezing up too much and does not seem to be functioning correctly, I don't know what's going on, hopefully the problem will be fixed with future updates
When I saw that this was available as a mobile app I was stoked. I downloaded the app right away, put in my login info and.....nothing, nada, zip. I kept getting a "need valid subscription" error. I did not know why, since I an using the desktop software with no issues and my subscription is valid. I emailed customer support and still have not heard anything for 2 days. Today I attempted to log in and now it is saying bad username or password even AFTER I changed it. App is no good.
Those of us that use Human Computing's ComicBase software to track & mamage our collections have waited literally YEARS for this to roll out! I downloaded it, opened up the app, logged in, and miracle of miracles...! there was all my info. Reports, valuations, everything. Ran a couple searches... fast, covers displayed. I cant wait to really pit it through its paces at the next convention I attend, and see how well the built-in narcode scanner works. But as of my initial experiences, 5 ⭐!
I will agree with Narlanthrotep I am also seeing some inconsistent behavior. if you are bouncing in and out of searches and other stuff along with looking at reports I have to clear the cache. going to document all issues is am seeing and sent it it Support
App is very buggy, disappointing, frequently freezes up leaving no access to information. Potential is there, but the execution is sloppy
Not good. Useless and doesn't sync and the desktop version is slow and cumbersome. Wasted money.
Could you make it anymore difficult to get started?(A): If you have an app, don't send me to a website to apply for a membership.(B): Its not easy to locate membership services at your website. The convienence of an app is not here. To much back and forth from the web, checking email, back to web. No thanks.
looking good so far thou seen some inconsistent behaviour with the manual search and my db info is about a month old and I dont see a way to get the update. haven't been able to figure out how to determine my inventory thru the search
Subscriber for over 15 years and the database is the best one I seen regarding comics. Great community to help you track and index your Comic Books.
Was excited to use this. But doesn't sync with current desktop version of Comicbase 2020 Archive Edition.
V2.0.2 is posted but unable to update phone app as it is not showing update for primary app on Play store. App on my phone is 2.0.0
Nice, but how do I get it to find and read my latest updated database? Does my database have to be saved in a specific folder?

This app Forces you have a subscription to the online website in order to have their free Price guide which isn't free by the way.
GREAT to carry info on 20K comics in my collection and almost a MILLION other comics in the palm of your HAND!!!

The best there is
Best when your out at stores and looking for key issues in a series and to help you not overpay as well. I use to have a file folder ore one of my series. But now, i just carry my phone, barcode scan and know if i have or dont have or want an issue it lets me know.. Bravo. Simple and easy to use. And if I buy a title I just scan and add it to my collection. No ads in the app.
