It's great for most use cases and does what it says it does. I do love it and use it frequently as my main tool. Better than key collector. Minor criticisms: - some covers missing from their database that I cannot log, but that's uncommon. Would love to be able to add my own ad-hoc - Issue values are usually wrong and I am not able to adjust the price, which makes it so that the collection $ is incorrect and undervalued - barcode scanner UI is basic and not the best
Purchased this app specifically for the scan function. Despite everyone saying it was horrible i saw the developers replying to peoples reviews that it was updated and worked much better. 40 comics in and it only worked properly on one of them. Tried comics from every age. The rest of the app works great but if your buying it for the scan option dont waste your money.
it's, ok... Missing A LOT of Variants. I mean, for your regular comic organizer, fine... but if you are a collector and have virgin variants, Retailer Incentives, Convention Exclusives, etc... a lot of them are not going to be on here. TOTAL RIP OFF FOR MY MONEY! As I bought it as a collector. Don't waste your money. there are many free apps, that do as little to the same as this one.
I've been using CBR since the 1990's when it was My Comic Pile. Been looking around for an alternative lately, but none of the other collection aps have all the features of CBR. It may be simple, but it does a great job of delivering everything you need in one app. Just wish when you back out of a title it didn't reload the whole pile space.
Not worth paying for, especially $15. UI is very clunky and ugly. You have to add and remove comics one by one especially if there's a ton of issues for a series. Also it does not list everything that's out nor is there a preview list for upcoming issues. Comic Shopper which is free is way better!
Ok. Now we are talking. I asked for a refund. Then bought the app again. Now it's working. Awesomeness. SUGGESTION: Place sample scans of the comic grades so non technical collectors would have an idea what they actually have Purchased the app so i can know the prices of the comics i inherited. The collection tab is not user friendly. It does not have tick boxes that allows you to just select comics you want to remove ala email inbox.
This application is very basic and they ask for 14.99 dollars. The app is bare woth so much white space. Not sure why we can see who wants which comic. I guess for selling. The list goes on. Not worth it at that price for what they have. Should be 5.99 dollars instead and just use the pc version for free.
Nice app to finally keep track of comic prices on my phone. However, it would really make it easier in the next update if for series that have a large # of issues there was a way to move directly to a specific issue #, or at least a range of issue #'s.
The scanner doesn't work on any of the comics. I tried for all 75 I got through today, and not a single one was found through the scanner, I had to manually search for each individual comic.
A LOT! better than the last time I used it but still needs work. The website is still the best way to interface with a site. keep up the good work. would be very useful for someone who has a very large collection and needs to do a lot of research quickly.
Im not happy. I just spent the money to have this & no matter what barcode i scan the same damn comics come up, the New Mutants, i'm not scanning any New Mutants! Why can't someone make things easier by allowing us to scan the comic cover instead of a damn barcode. Do golden era comics even have barcodes? Could someone PLEASE HELP ME FIX THE DAMN SCANNER. Thanks.
After 2 days and spending 18.99 on it the system says there is an error loading. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling and still the same issue. Not what I was expecting.
App does not allow registration (had to be completed on their site). It also doesn't have any of the issues I needed to price for an estate. I'm hoping for a refund🤞
I use the app mostly for the barcode scanner and somewhat quick reference, in case I am not sure if I have a book or not. But I love the website and how it's helped me with my collection.
the scanner has a hard time focusing so it cant take a pic of a blury barcode.
Had this for years used to work great now I cant use the app without crashing time to get it together guys
crashes a lot. That is my only cpmplaint.
Favorite comic book collection tracking app
Like this app easy to use
Wish you had pictures of books
AMAZING WAY TO FINALLY KEEP TRACK OF MY COLLECTION
Note: I have deleted my original comment as I was being very unfair and adjusted my rating to 4 stars from 2. The app creators let me know that some of the features I was complaining about not being there were already available in the app. I just could not find them. I have since found the features and will continue to use the app. Thank you to the app creators for responding in a helpful way (the 2nd time around) and I hope you keep working to improve the app. Thank you.
The app itself is great but the scanner needs some more work. Using CLZ app, I have zero difficulties scanning and even have the ability for multiple scans to queue and upload at once. This app is more often than not telling me it can't be found like another user stated. I can scan the same comic 6 times and it will recognize it on the 2nd time but error all the others. Its not a lack of recognizing but the scanner that needs improved. Once improved, this app will fantastic and even more so when you can scan more than 1 at a time. I am happy to change my rating upon improvements
Excellent app, outside of the scanner. So much easier to use this while out buying books than the website ever was. If you have your collection already in CBR then this is well worth the money. For the developers if there was a way to see the price of each issue when I look at a series instead of having to pick the issue I'm interested in that would be great. I would love to just have that data right in the list underneath each issues number. Having to pick the issue details to see the cost is slightly annoying and adds time to my comic purchasing.
I have thousands of books to input but the scanner is junk. I can do it all manually faster than scanning and getting nothing found. It only scans part of the barcode 90% of the time. Fix that and you'll have a solid 5 stars.
I would like to see the value history graphs from the website make their way to the app. The barcode scanner will recognize the main barcode, but it tends to miss the auxiliary barcode (I don't know the exact terminology, but it's a small barcode to the right of the big barcode.)
Great comic app, was iffy on the price but I went ahead and got it and I'm glad I did it has all the features I need when hunting and keeping track of my collection. The barcode scanner is a little wonky but I found if you scan it a second time it works perfect . Very happy guys!
The ap is good but the scanner is awful. I've never gotten it to work on the first try. I know they are going to say it takes practice but maybe instead they could fix it? Maybe instead of grabbing the picture immediately when it sees a bar code it could wait a second to focus? I otherwise really like the ap but fixing the scanner would definitely make it a 5 star.
It is a good app but I am getting "an error has occurred, please try again" occasionally. Gets frustrating when I am trying to log my collection. If the error gets fixed and the scanner actually finds the books when you scan them this will be a 5 star app for sure.
The scanner is much improved since the last update, thanks for that. For some reason, covers are not visible for any searched books, or ones I already have in my collection. Not sure if this a problem on your end or mine, but it has only recently happened. Other.than that, love the app. Developers advise a solution very quickly, that fixed my issue. Changed my rating to 5 star. Love this app
