At one time app worked great but they seem to have added an ad bar at the top and ever since then its has become virtually useless. I uninstalled then re-installed it with no change. I contacted help desk/developer with little to no response. Has the potential to be a great app but not as it is now. Edit: web version is much faster but when you hit "back" it takes you to first page of your search rather than the page you were on & sometimes it clears the search completely.
Pros: Great for getting prices. Cons: viewing your collection shows only a few. Not sure you can actually view the entire collection. A big con is the use of the camera to scan bar codes. May be the worse one I have ever used. Maybe the subscription version works better but hard to pull the trigger based on the free version.
I've been having trouble with the app for a couple of days now. When you try opening one of the publishers it will close the app. If you want to look up a book you would then have to type the whole title and then look thru the many books to find what you are looking for which makes it very time consuming. Please fix this issue as I really like using this app and am a Gold Member.
I've tried other apps but none compare to this one. Super easy to navigate and allows you to create a digital inventory of your own collection so you may know what it worth through a grading scale it provides. Best so far by a mile!
A decent app overall. Very large database. Typically on point with market values. I guess the only complaint I really have surrounds how accurate the search criteria need to be to find specific issues. It can be difficult to find annuals and one offs sometimes.
I have had a good experience up until recently. Kept receiving an error when trying to use on my phone and couldn't see my collection. I did an uninstall and reinstall and now appears to work well now. A good app for beginners, moderate and experienced collectors.
I like the app as a whole but it has very hard time finding comic books & graphic novels too no matter what you put in the title section or you use the scan the barcode! This app makes it very frustrating to put my comic book collection in there if it can't find the issues I have, the graphic novels, or no matter what you put in the title or how you spell it not going to find it for you or help you find it at all!! I also been having problems with the internet too on this app I pay for membershi
The app has good information but 1)It's not up to date & I'm constantly reloading the app as it gets stuck & won't bring up the info I need. Endlessly frustrating when it just decides to not work over & over.
I can see my books. But I can't sort them, see my gains, list them for sale, no message boards, see what my top issues are, etc...hopefully this is just a work in progress.
It's worth the .99 cents for the price guide, but the app cuts you off when you reach 50x books added to your inventory. You are alerted to pay more if you want to upgrade the app: Silver - $5/month or $30/year - add or sell up to 300 books a year. Gold - $8/month or $50/year - unlimited amount of books to add or sell. If looking for a decent comic inventory app, try CLZ. One time fee of $15. It's user friendly as well.
Please please please link the message box from my paid desktop site to my paid app. i pay enough per year to have such a simple convenience between your platforms. Also, loading my collection for viewing and sorting on the app has turned to a buffing nightmare. This seems to be a new problem. Putrid. help.
Downloaded the app and paid for a silver plan, have not been able to log in even once. tried resetting my password like 4 times. Have tried emailing, filling out the customer service request and calling to recive support but have not reached anyone. Very close to calling my credit card company tell them what happened and have payments stopped.
The app opens & searches are decent, but I cannot see or access my collection at all WITHOUT serious searching for a way to do so. Price Guide is okay. Kinda bummed that the app doesn't operate as well as the website. I still use the website to catalog & search.
Great for pricing comics on the move! App has never failed me!! They are constantly adding UPC codes as well which makes it even easier to use.. If you're a comic collector I would recommend you check it out.
Great job keeping DB up to date and accurate. The data does need better vetting and more accurate assignment of things like cover graphics, especially when multiple covers are involved.
Either i have the most obscure books ever or I'm wasting my time trying to use this app. I have tried to scan some of my new books and some old ones and the UPC scanner can't find anything. The list of books i can find in the app is pretty small so looking for stuff i want is pointless. I'm just going to delete this thing.
App has a memory leak somewhere. It slows to a crawl the longer you have it open. The price guide is good but the performance lag kills it.
I'm a gold member subscriber. Overalll, the app is a good start, but has room for improvement. I can't remove comics added to my collections. Also cant upload photos/scans of my own covers.
Listed values are very outdated. Hard to see your collection after you have entered them. Overall, a very clunky app. Not worth paying the subscription price.
Was working fine then it signed me out. Now it keeps saying my email is invalid. I think because my email has a period in the middle of it. Please fix asap.
Everything was perfect, except the comic limit. I dont want to pay to catalogue my comics, if card cataloguing apps are free, this one should be too.
It was wonderful until I hit 50 comics, then it made me pay. I just want something to log my books in and see prices without it costing anything!
Little bit of a learning curve but overall a great app to look up back issues and compare to your collection.
I've inputted over 1,000 titles and now the app stopped loading the comic cover pictures, all comic cover displays added are blank.
Totally worthless app, doesn't show any prices and searching for specific issue numbers on a title brings a "no items found" message on android. The actual Website works great but not the app.
Website is not too bad but the app feels almost useless. 99% of website functions do not work, really just an app to look up book values and nothing more. Use the site, skip the app....
Great app when it works and loads up. But it buffers alot. For an app that cost $$ it should at least run smooth
easy to look up more standard comics, but researching Annuals, Trades, etc. is nearly impossible.
Crashes and does way less than the website, which isn't great either. Would love an alternate option to CPG.
Considering I had to pay for the service, I expected the app would be in decent working order. It allows me to search and add books to my collection but the edit tools do not work. It would also be great if while searching, it displayed a count of what you already have archived. But you have to jump back and forth from search to collection. Plus, the longer the list on the screen the more the app lags. And the book values don't represent the market very accurately. Not worth it.
