You don't give people a chance to trial your product, before you ask for ratings. Food choices are poor, appear's that you can not add anything or change it. Their is very little options, if it could be added to or change it. It would give me a better idea if you would show a video clip of full purchase your product. We currently use sono flex I am looking for something for my cell phone.
Costs 20 dollars, start with that... It's 20 dollars to do anything useful with this app. You cannot change anything or customize anything, add pics, add pages, change anything. How about a 99 cent 1 week trial, then I can decide if 20 is worth it. With a cp non verbal child 20 bucks is easy to spend, but only if I can test the product (with everything) for a bit. Also, with a trial, once people are hooked, they will pay the remainder easy. Business 101 free samples sell product.
Does not allow any editing. Followed the directions to move cell and it moves right back. Not useful unless the only options you need are already there. Considered buying but if this lite version is an example, then this is not helpful at all.
Headphone Sound WARNING!!!!! Every time this app is opened it will override the volume limiter feature and automatically raise the MEDIA volume to the MAXIMUM level, be cautious of this when listening to music using headphones as the volume will suddenly increase to its highest level with no warning and could potentially cause damage to the ears.
It is good that you can yourself create a vocab. Maybe to add 'to' to the verbs can create a confusion in some kids, because the may think that actual word is 'toeat' . I would add a possibility to add "to" or not. Would be also nice to vary a quickness of a pronounced word as some kids may not be able to get all sounds. It will be also nice to change as color of a word which is pronounced to focus on it and create a link between receptive and written.
My daughter was diagnosed with a few things that stop her communication. This app has been some helpful and vital in her expressing herself. We are grateful to whom every designed this.
I'm having trouble setting it up with just a few symbols. The board won't save. I only want a yes/no board to begin and I cannot open or use it. I just get an advertisement for the full ap. I don't want to buy it until I can try it.
It's hard to gauge how useful the app would be because the trial version is so limited. It isn't really enough to give to my son to try it out. I don't want to spend the $20 without knowing if it would help to facilitate communication.
I can't describe how amazing this app is. My son is select mute, we have struggled for years trying to communicate with teachers and peers. So amazing thank you so much!!
It's hard to judge how useful it could be with the limited options in the trial version. I think it needs to be a little different for the visually impaired.
Like the simplicity of the app. It's easy to use but the my grandson has to touch the icons several times before it reacts.
1. Picture comes up in wrong orientation, can't rotate it 2. Love that multiple languages are offered - would like to be able to switch between them for a bilingual home
Not user friendly. Have motor issues and this board only exacerbates them with trying to add anything only to tell you you need to buy the full version to add anything
Basic, easy to use with voice output for ipad or phone. Able to edit and customise to user's needs.
This app is great!! Finally starting to understand! App would be alot better if there were more words that are free of cost.highly recommend app.
Bit limited BUT I wish sometbing like this was around when my non-communicative autistic son was growing up. He could not speak until he was four.i had to use the flash cards back then.
I have signed up and spent $30 for the full Commboards app on my android tablet. Am I able to see this app on my mobile phone when we are out and about or do I have to pay again to have the identical app on my mobile.
Great for level 3 autism. My child need something simple.
The pictures that we download could be a bit bigger or able to adjust
Using for extra one-on-one with some IEP students and helping with creating sentences.
I'm new to this and it was not too hard to figure out. It's become a great resource.
Quick way to formulate a board that could be exppanded upon later...
Good overall. Limited default keyboard
Great free app to bring out the thoughts of many!
Nice and easy to read
I have watched students communicate with this. It gives them a chance to be able to meet their goals .
Very limited and no options to add
I have tried several aac apps and this is my favourite, in no small part due to its simplicity. I bought the full version, well worth it. I only hope you don't choke it up with too many features. However I do think you should add the feature to sync settings, user data and user images across devices and maybe the ability to back up and restore settings, user data, user images. It can be really hard to quickly set up with one hand while consoling the autisic child having a meltdown beside you!
