Commission Ace calculates real estate commissions for real estate brokers and their agents.

This tool prevents the common question from agents everywhere "have I reached my cap yet?".

Now they can get the answer directly from the cool little Commission Ace app on their smart phone!

In addition they can search for deals from a specific time period and double-check what the details of the deal were. Or, simply check what the commission split will be on an upcoming deal that has been sent in but has not closed yet.

Besides that, it allows the broker / owner immediate access to the company's Gross Commission Income (GCI) for the current month, YTD and All Time directly from his / her smart phone!

Commission Ace comes in two parts... a website component where the broker's office administrator will:
- create new offices
- add agents to an office
- set up agent commission splits
- set up agent commission caps
- set up agent splits after caps have been reached
- add new deals
- produce new Commission Disbursement Authorities (CDA's)

There are three main types of user:
- agent
- office administrator
- company owner / broker

An agent can only view:
- their own deals and cap information.

An office administrator can view:
- the deals & status of a single agent
- the deals & status of a single office
- possibly also the deals & status of a whole company (multiple offices)A company owner / broker can view:
- everything that an office administrator can
- the deals & status of the whole company

- I am a practicing real estate broker in Texas. Our company is not that large yet and immediately I could see that keeping track of real estate commissions and all the commission splits and caps was going to be a problem.

Working with a spreadsheet left much to be desired and mistakes were frequent. I didn't have the time to spend to keep an eye on this part of the business and needed some software that would do the work for me.

I searched all over the web for something useful but couldn't find anything that even remotely matched what I needed!!!

Luckily my previous career was in software development so I was aware of the size of the problem and thought that it was technically not too big a challenge for a developer to undertake. We've invested in creating this solution for ourselves and so far we're very happy with it. We designed it in such a way that other companies could also benefit from it.
