Its very easy to read and sets out to retain the original meaning of the translation. Great for "new Christians". The books after Revelation are also a good inclusion, not normally seen in KJV, NIV and some other versions. Makes for interesting and enlightening daily reading.
In order to apply the Word to your life you must first understand what you are reading. The CEB is a pleasure to read. The language is modern. It flows naturally and and is easy to understand. It is good for reading for long periods of time. I just discovered this translation and am already enjoying it.
I will give this app a 4s because it is pretty good and easy to understand the words, the context, and the version of this Bible is for me more reliable than other the other versions of the Bible, the reason why I gave this a 4stars because it didn't automatically copy the verse when I click it, but overall was good. Thanks be to God.
I enjoy using this Bible bc my pastor uses it and it's easy to get the full understanding of the story. It's a great addition to have since my pastor uses many versions during our study time and sermons. I really like it.

Downloaded a digital Bible bc the pages in my Book are so thin that it takes me too long to find the passage. Digital, i type in first few letters, then the numbers, voilà.

I think the Common English Bible is an excellent, fresh and accurate contemporary translation for the present time. As a pastor of nearly 40 years from an evangelical seminary, the CEB maintains "dynamic equivalency" in English while faithful dependency with the original Hebrew and Greek. Well done!
It was very difficult to download this app and I think what youhave provided there some version that are not compatible.please check but I like reading this version of the Bible

This seems to be the best translation. Genesis 1:1 version is different from the rest and is right .

I like the app,but I'm disappointed in the fact that the daily devotion has not changed since I have been using the app. It's been about 4-6 months.
App worked fine for a while but will not load anymore. Tried rebooting phone and reinstalling the app but still will not load.
Its a bit of a hassle getting INTO the books chapters and verses each time but other than that its good.
Extremely helpful easy to read and also has extra chapters that a regular Bible doesn't have!👍

This is a great Bible app. But, the 'Daily Verse' isn't working properly. It should have a new verse each day hence 'Daily Verse' but it isn't.
