Just paid my loan online and it couldn't have been any easier. I love the ease of the app. I especially like the security of the fingerprint identification to enter the app, I feel much more secure in my banking decisions. I highly recommend both the app and the bank. The bank has the best people.
App is easy enough to navigate through and easy to transfer funds between accounts, but depositing checks can get very frustrating because the app does not always do a good job of capturing the image.
Could be better but the app is HORRIBLE at mobile deposits. The app has serious problems with getting clear pictures. S21 Ultra with a 108Mp camera and I consistently have to retake photos....sometimes endlessly to get one an app can't get clear.
The app is down way too often. Often at this same time as the desktop sight. But the thing that makes me mad is that you cannot manage fraud alerts. Your card will be shut down, they only call or text occasionally... you go to use your card, your transaction is declined, and they are closed. Make the app so that you can clear or confirm the alerts
App works wonderful when it's not down. App frequently is having issues, particularly overnight. It either says cannot connect to server, or experiencing technical difficulties. Have tried on two separate devices, on multiple wifi networks and mobile carriers.
The app is no longer working to pay credit card balances since they changed the app. I have reported this numerous times they say they are working on it thats been answer for last 3 months. I was also told uninstall app and then reinstall. Nothing works this is so inconvient. Wish they get app working. Its 1 of their requirements to get payout so they need to get this fixed
I help my brother with his banking business. This app makes it so easy to pay his bills, transfer $, check balances, etc. For a while, he was getting scammed and I was even able to deal with that. So helpful in this situation!
I've been with cacu for right at 10 years now and I love them from day one from customer service and the dividends to the profit sharing I get back each year. And I don't pay anything for my checking or savings accounts. Even my financial planner who has nothing to do with Community America highly recommends them over any other bank or Credit Union. Every friend of mine that has switched to Community America has thanked me many times and wishes they would have switch sooner.
Trying to deposit a check, and it keeps telling me the corners/edges of the check aren't visible. I go to view the image and the whole check is in the image. Should be no problem at all.
Mobile deposits never work anymore. Even with a brand new Pixel 6 pro's camera. Never a issue with an iphone however. Will not capture endorsed checks with mobile check deposit. Even with a $$$$ phone camera and clear lighting. Always a battle to use their check deposit feature.
Very slow. Bill pay and mobile deposit very buggy. Leaves a lot to be desired, but is your only option. You will first endorse the mobile deposit check in pen and the endorsement will fail to be recognized. You will then write over that endorsement in felt tipped marker and it will fail to be recognized. You will then write over the endorsement again with the fastest marker in your household and.... it may or may not be recognized. Finally, just scribbling all over may work. Good luck!
It's easy to see balances for my checking and savings accounts. However, the UI for credit cards is terrible. It looks like the app simply opens up the desktop site when I want to see my credit card transactions. Check deposit is also difficult as the images it saves are compressed to nothing. Very difficult to get a good enough picture for the app.
Horrible! Half the time you cannot sign in. If you are lucky enough to be able to sign in, the deposit check feature via a photo is a joke. I have tried this numerous times, it always kicks you off. Calling customer service is horrible! They never are able to fix any issues with this app. Or online banking in general. Frustrating! If I could rate a zero, I would.
Very simple, easy to use app. Does everything I would want from a banking app efficiently and I was able to figure out how to use all the features within the first day of having it. Giving it 4 stars because the app crashes more frequently than I would like, and when that happens so does the online site. There is the automated phone banking service avaliable when this happens, but you need your full account number to access that, figured out quick I needed to write it down lol. Great App!
All of a sudden the app stopped working I uninstalled and reinstalled it asked advised by the technical department it still doesn't work unless I go through Google to pull it up I cannot use it if I go to the Play Store it will not accept my password or anything going to Google it will
The app could be so much better. Still restricted on some things compared to other banks. We are getting ready to change banks again just because of the app. I used it for everything!
So tired of cacu constantly having technical difficulties. I can't access my money and my account because of these issues and it's extremely concerning. May move to another bank and recommend anyone else to do the same if you like to access your money.
Limited functionality, very basic app. customer service says "new app is coming soon," but that's not enough in 2018 when almost all apps are higher-powered. Will be switching back to other credit union for our direct deposits due to the lack of features of this app. Cannot easily log in if you do not have fingerprint recognition, app freezes up, cannot lock card or easily chat with customer service, interface is lackluster.
Very user friendly and, this far, I haven't experienced a single technical issue in the year Ive been using it.
SCARY APP WHEN YOU TRY TO LOG IN, IT TAKES YOUR USER NAME AND PASSWORD THEN KICKS YOU OUT AND CLOSES Phone states "app has bug, wait for developer to produce update for fix." PLEASE FIX ISSUE, THIS BUG FEELS LIKE A SECURITY BREACH AND I WILL NOT BE USING IT UNTIL YOU PRODUCE A FIX DUE TO POSSIBLE LOSS OR THEFT OF LOGIN INFO.
App is so easy to use, when you want to transfer money from savings to checking . You dont have to wait for it to register in your checking account. It's right there to use within seconds.
Of you're having trouble with the account/ routing number, why don't you let me type it to confirm like chase does. I had to go in person to deposit :(
I've been a CommunityAmerica customer since 2014-15, and I love the service and friendly employees. Speaking of the app only, no problems with the usage. It is easy to navigate and see all accounts. Only minor con I could possibly think of is that it doesn't have a sort function like the full website, but besides that, everything else is simple and not complex like other banking apps 🙂
This app makes you wait for a phone call every single time you log in. Same thing if you log into the website. I have been using the same devices, log in fairly frequently and yet this still happens. I've banked with several institutions and never had a security problem so this 'safety feature?' seems 100% hassle and 0% necessary. Also there are things you MUST log into the website to do, so what's the point of an extra app taking space on your phone?
