Compass is a personal money management service offered free to members of Local Government Federal Credit Union.

Safe and SecureThe industry standard for secure financial information exchange is 128-bit SSL encryption. However, for greater security, this Compass application uses military-grade 256-bit SSL encryption, which is actually 2,128 times more secure. Compass is SOC 2 certified, which means that the controls and safeguards of members’ data have been audited and approved.

This app is extremely helpful with keeping up on how much I spend monthly, what I use my money for, and how I can budget more money towards different categories in my life. I love that I can set up alerts on the app and it will notify me of purchases. Overall this has been such a helpful tool with managing my money and it has helped me to adjust to a more comfortable budget!
It's a P.o.S. app, especially if you don't want to use a cell phone. Regardless of what you try it tries to send texts to landlines. Bookmark the website in a browser and set it to desktop emulation... it's WAY EASIER.
I like it so far. I can't see pending transactions (I may be looking in the wrong place). I would also like it to change my keyboard to a number pad when I have to type in my security code. 🤷🏿♀️
Not worth installing. It's a constant battle with passwords and codes just to see whats in your account... Doesn't do anything other than let you see your balances and transactions... Website is easier to use and more features.
Surprisingly good app considering LGFCU & SECU are in the 1990's technologically. Obviously an outside vendor built the product but at least the credit union got onboard! I've only used the app for a few weeks but like it so far. I haven't added outside accounts yet so I may update this review but I'd definitely recommend this app based on what I've seen so far.
Syncing is completely broken because the app won't sync. It also seems to struggle with security questions. What you really need is a simple Member Connect app.
The app takes up to a week for transactions to appear. If I have to write out all of my transactions to manage my money because they aren't showing, then the compass app is redundant.
Compass was a great tool about a year ago but its seems since the update its hard to log into. But it still a great addition to managing money!
The app is good but it also is a little slow to show accurate information apart from using the bank website. (just by a few days) but other than that it's great.
was great until they updated it absolutely terrible!!! can't sign in right any more have to get a text message every time I want to check my account just a joke! go back!!!
You're better off keeping up with your account yourself rather than using this. It takes a week (or more) for any transaction to show up and sometimes it just doesn't work at all.
It is very helpful for keeping up with my money. The new update helps with using the app and is easy to maneuver through.
Awful. Never syncs well. Always having to update my credentials. Tells me they are wrong when they aren't.
Just started using app. Right now love that I don't have to go through the hassle of opening up a web browser to log in.
keeps everything right where you need it and easy to follow like the layout also and availability to add other accounts

The Compass by LGFCU app is Amazing and Very Secure. 10/10 Must Try. This is the OFFICIAL APP THAT IS A MUST HAVE.
This app is primarily useless. Only properly displays accurate account information when customer service is contacted.
Easy to navigate I can access my bank account and spending on this app since my bank doesn't have a app

I like the app because it shows all accounts and you can review better different accounts.
This is by far the worst banking app out there, sitting it up is so confusing you have to go to the bank to get it working
I have been using this app for over a year now and it hasn't been too bad. However, for over a month now the app has stopped syncing to my bank account and comes up with an error when I try to sync it. My balances and transactions are no longer accurate since it's been a month since it last synced and this causes a lot of issues when I'm trying to check my current balance before making a transaction. Please fix this. I can't on my end.
