Works badly with note 9. North arrow points 90 degrees west usually. But north arrow swings so jittery it's impossible to get a real and consistent reading. Digital numbers change so rapidly likewise can't get a reading
When you point the top of your phone to the East, the compass dial is correct but the digital display says "W" and vise versa. Unacceptable for a compass app to get this wrong...

As a geographic student, I work a lot with stuffs like surveys, map projections and field works and I looked into dozens of compass, and Im satisfied only with its accuracy and simplicity... Indeed it is more accurate than my practical instruments 😄😄😄
Used to be great, but east and west are reversed even after calibrating. Another compass app works, so it's a problem with this one.

This is a good app for navigation
Holding the phone level, with the top away from you, you would expect it to tell you the bearing you are walking or facing. Not so with my Samsung Galaxy S5. The needle does point north while moving and bearing for north and south are ok, but the bearings for east and west are backwards. Walking west towards the sunset the compass says I'm facing 90 degrees. Maybe there's a setup step I'm missing, don't know. Cute app but I'll stick with my compass that doesn't need a battery.
The compass dial is correct but the digital text display mixes up East and West. Downloaded a different app instead.
OMG so many compass apps. Why google not getting them to collaborate rather than every tom dick and harry reinventng the app. MacroPinch get rid of the add. With 5M+ downloads sure you have made some decent money lol
Am a regular user of compass to find qibla direction while in travel.. this one shows accurate direction as I tested many times..
North & south seem to be pretty accurate but East & West are backwards. When i face west it says east & vice versa. Uninstalling
Was hoping to find a compass which works without magnetic sensor. Eg uses GPS and movement to show direction
I tried around 10 to 12 compass app but none of them has worked like this app, and don't know why your your app just have 4.0 star rating. It's the only app which I found working truly and so simple to use it with not so hard settings and feature and have good themes option. 5 star from me and thanks for the app. ☺👍
Shows totally wrong direction! Had a gps n hand held compass pointing West but this compass pointing East! Since when the sun sets in the East ??
Use to work... Now just shows random direction no matter where you point.

Great one , this is the simplest compass i ever installed , 5 stars
Mostly just points N at the bottom right of my screen no matter what direction I'm travelling. Always, ALWAYS, has East and West mixed up! Even when the compass seems to be working properly and the dial is showing the correct direction of travel, the reading at the top left of screen with degrees will show the opposite. I don't know what difference the Callibration and True North buttons are supposed to make, but they don't seem to do anything and there is no Help available when Help is selecte.
