- Don’t forget to calibrate(*) your compass, if you see the magnet. To acheive this, you must rotate your phone (at least 180A° in all directions) if the magnet continues,
- Stand back from iron objects.
- Remove your magnetic case.if the magnet persist:
- Unplug or replug the device (the cable also emit magnetism)
- Restart (!) Device. (curious Android feature)(*) : there is no bad magnetometers (magnetic north sensor), only bad calibrations. And sometimes ill-algorithms “separation”. The problem with these sensors is that the phone itself sends a strong magnetism. Sometimes even the act of playing a sound, recharge or activate the camera disrupts this sensor.To separate the constant magnetic device to that of the earth, we must make him make important rotations in all directions.4d compass contains an algorithm for error detection. It indicates a problem by drawing a big red magnet.4d compass also contains its own separation algorithm, applied on top of that made by Android.

Keep up working hard. I may like to use cellphone to check the sun where is went. Maybe the rainy cloud cover can't find them when it the sun is going down to be dark I were hunter out there.
Simple and effective interface. I believe it is one of the best UIs for a compass. Working as an augmented reality by showing the live camera footage is a nice touch. Recommended! (the bad part: it took many months until the app was fixed for Android 4.2.2)
Works on GS3 Only Problem is Dev has not allowed for deviation and compass points True North. Needs ability to add correction of deviation for magnetic North. Dev has done nothing to correct. So app is really useless. Will give 5+ stars when corrected. Come on Dev. Compassas use magnectic bearings.
Works really good. If this is all I had I would not hesitate to use it in an emergency. But I still prefer a true compass. No real way to know if the declination is accurate but being digital probably is true.
Where I can Actually see all planets ,looking forward for updates that can show me eclipse nd sm shining stars, it wud be realy WOW movements, BTW I m happy now also whether it's day or night I can see planets ..keep going guys good work .
The update was horrible...app is not working.does not show any direction..please fix it
The app would be great if the screen wouldn't turn black once I toggle on the camera mode. I used the Sony Xperia sp.
It doesn't show compass, I use this only for camera which shows in the dark, i cant use not compass, neighter towns, fix it please
Excellent app. Amongst the greatest compass apps out there. But please get someone with some design experience to redesign the app icon. :-)
Works great on my HTC Amaze 4G. My son saw this and took my phone and he won't give me my phone back!
The app was working fine on my Huawei device but suddenly stoped to show me the directions. Reinstalled it but the problem still exits. Please solve this issue.

Stopped working on my dual core snapdragon phone. After upgrading to Note 3 working again.
Was super cool on friends Galaxy Note 2 (or 3?) Doesn't work properly on Droid 4. Left review neutral to total feedback, will check back later for compatibility and bugfixes, hopefully can make it 5 for 5 one day.
Font color is very dark on North and South. Wish the town distance can be user defined
This is a fantastic app. I recommended this to everyone who is looking for this sort of thing. 10 stars if u ask me! Has there been an update? Coz now this app won't calibrate!! I moved from the uk to Canada but the compass is all over the place. Plzzzz fix
Have to go with 5 stars as it does what's expected.would like to see a star identifier with the planet tracker.but for a free, innovative app that lives up to its claims,with no adds....take what you get and be satisfied.had this on S4 and just installed on V10. Landscape/ portrait orientation was off and compass bearings were way off on both phones, common to majority of complaints.turned off 90° interface in settings and worked perfectly.
Best ever since i looking for this but i it is best for me thanks for developers try at more features eg map and topo map, navigation system pls
Not sure about its accuracy but it's close and seeing planetary positions is cool
It definitely works and is more of a novelty and entertainment compass then a survival device but I enjoyed it.
fantastic app. If degree of inclination included then it may be a complete guide line for azimuth & inclination

I have galaxy grand quattro, and it doesn't work properly. I am too much frustrated. Please update the application. I like it too much. Its my favourite application. Once it works, I will rate 5 star......

This is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. I'm a jet airline pilot and this thing is super cool! Works great on my Nexus 5

Hey I like the app and had it for a few years. But Motorola has power issues with chargers - switched to the new Samsung Rugby - a great phone and installed the app and all I get is the compass and it wont move. I re-installed several times reset the phone still doesn't work. No towns no compass... I will try again in a year...
