Opened app and it goes to a white screen, even tho it says it's fixed, it's not. Prayer reminder use to work but no longer does. Was suggested that I update app but option nonexistent at this time. Mail from Compassion has stopped arriving at my house. I'm lost for words
This app was working fine for me before. I recently added a fourth child and now the app won't load. It's a white screen. I've uninstalled the app several times and re-downloaded it. It still won't work.
App stops working after a few days...even after uninstall & reinstall. That's too bad because I really liked the reminder to pray for my sponsored child. Will set a reminder another way and dump the app. :*(
If the app blanks white uninstall then reinstall. It fixed my app. What a great application. I like feature where it sends me a reminder to pray for my kiddo.
App was working fine but now when clicking on an item in the menu nothing happens. I also tried going on the website and nothing happens there either. Updated: I try to log in and after a minute it says "server error" and reinstalled the app and still can't login
App isn't working I just get a white screen when click on the app. Normally this app works great and I've had no issues for over 2 years.

Great to see new and old letters. This App is extremely slow and cumbersome. Writing letters to my child takes me 3 times as long on both the app, and online, than it would if I wrote the letter and mailed it. I get so frustrated when trying to fix an error, or add additional information to my letters. I never know if a sentence will be cut in half (part on the front, the rest on the back) because there is no indicator that allows you to see how the letter looks until the end.
I can see what they are trying to do with this app and that concept is 5 stars! However the execution isn't so great. It is complicated to try to find my kids' letters to read and it is slow to load once I click on something (I don't even know if it registered my click sometimes until it suddenly starts loading like 10 seconds later). I do love that I can send a letter or pictures pretty easily. That is helpful for me to stay in touch with my compassion kids.
Suddenly stopped sending prayer notifications. It was a great app, yes a little slow at times, but great none the less. But about a week ago, months of it working correctly, it just stopped sending prayer notifications. I have checked my phone and the app, everything is set as it should be.. sent email to compassion and they replied with the typical uninstall and try again, blah.. still doesn't work.
Do not like this new version, it redirects you to compassion website in order to carry out any tasks within the app and then makes you login every time, with each task. The app is now useless and pointless. When every thing is redirected to the website, why have the app at all? The old version was better, except having a direct tab to letter history. In order to get to the letter history, you had to start a new draft. That was my only complaint with the old version. This new version, is just terrible. Had high hopes for it. Now I'm stuck with this new version. Wish I could uninstall the update. Very very disappointed.
This app was wonderful when it had everything that you needed in it. They changed it and now it's not convenient. It redirects you to a browser that you have to log-in again in order to write to my sponsored child. What's the point of having an app then? I hope they change it back they way it was first designed. Then I will install it again.
I liked the previous version of the app much better. This one doesn't show you letters from your child or let you upload photos. Ask it does is link you to the main website. Please bring the old app back. This was not an improvement. It was a step backward.
If you have struggled to write to your sponsored child, this app made the process so much easier. I am able to include pictures from my device and type letters a lot faster so that there is more communication with my child. I highly recommend this app for communication.
I am losing my patience with this app. It's the worst business app I have ever downloaded. All I ever want is to see the letters my sponsored child wrote to me! The app keeps quitting on my phone, and it finally restarted and signed me out of my account. I don't know what happened, but it won't let me sign in. I tried going to the website, and I looked up my Child's name on the database, but it showed that he doesn't exist at all!! What the heck is going?! I am getting very nervous with this!
App was giving me issues in downloading and installing, and then kept saying login failed, even though my username and password was correct. I can get into the website on a computer just fine, but this app is useless.
Until the most recent update the app was great but now I can't see my girls full pictures and every single click gives me a link in which I have to copy and then go to my browser and look up and relog into my account. I use to be able to access everything from my app
I have been the mother of my adopted child since last fall (2019) and can honestly say that if this app werent connected directly to my child, they would not have received as many photos as they have nor the emergency funding oh so highly request. I urge everyone to adopt;the sooner the better.
I uninstalled the app in frustration at some recent bugs, but (remembering forgiveness is a foundation of faith, lol) gave it another chance. Glad I did. Working fine, far easier than just going to the website.
This app is very helpful to keep in touch with my sponsored child. I like that I can see information about him and where he stays and all that. It's helpful to be able to write to him through the app and see our conversations. What I wish was available was my sponsor number on my account and the ability to check info on my sponsor or custom trip since it's all through compassion. I also wonder if there will ever be a time where I would be able to do some kind of video chat with him through the app. Anyway super helpful and I recommend it for anyone who is sponsoring a child.
it used to let me connect through Facebook. Now that's not even an option. EDIT: If you forget your password/username, click ""dont have an account yet?, set up your account here"" to avoid the headache of trying to remember your password. then you have to dig for the paper that has your sponsor number on it. Hopefully you have it on hand still...
App no longer works on my phone. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and the app still doesn't work. I just get a white screen.
It's a blank page when I log in....I was a past sponsor and it never did that before. It's discouraging as we all financially support this organization and can't access accounts through the app.
It's not working right! I'm trying to check my account to see if I sent money for Christmas, but It says I need a web browser to open. The main page comes up, but I can't get any other information, not even support. I don't know what's going on but it needs to be fixed.
This app needs serious work. Anytime you want to do anything it just opens up your web browser and you have to do everything through the browser. No reason to use this app, just use your browser.
Every time I open the app, and try to sign in, it closes!! I have downloaded and uninstalled several times and its still the same! I'm so disappointed:(.
Can't access the child I sponsored or any information. The childs picture on this page is not the child I sponsored. Also can't get this app to work. Frustrated and a waste of time.
Can't open anymore, always says failed to retrieve your data with a blank screen. Can't open it so I can't update my account.
Have loved this app until the last update. Now screen is blank, a white background with absolutely nothing on it but a feedback tab in lower right corner. Currently it's useless. UPDATE: App has been fixed and works GREAT! This app allows a quick and easy way to keep up with your sponsored child and has many useful features. Update: Broke again. Blank screen.
