Great tool. Atlas is easy to use. I like that you can add layers of muscle at a time or isolate individual muscles. I assume the same would be true for nerves or vessels. And of course the 3D visual helps. Love being able to look at the muscle from angles that you would struggle to obtain on a cadaver.
This app has been extremely helpful in understanding concepts in my intro anatomy class and is a great study tool, especially for identification! My only gripe is that it took me a little while to get the hang of because the interface was tricky, and it glitches sometimes so I have to exit and reopen it to work again. However, I know this app has A LOT of processes functioning at once and I believe this is the first and best of its kind, so I get it and anticipate it becoming smoother 👌🏻
Crashes quite often. Other than that, I would've given it 5 stars. It just makes it incredibly frustrating that while studying for a test, already stressed enough, it keeps exiting and clearing my sessions.
Found this app from the website, unfortunately I was asked to enter my personal information and create an account before being sent to a new web page that told me a I had to download the app. Annoyed that I was forced to create an account before being told I need to download the app, even more annoyed that I now can't access that account on the app. Not mention I have already received 2 emails (within 5 mins), hopefully won't become spam emails everyday. Won't be using this.
Interesting and well thought platform , but the focus seems to sell. I bought a microanatomy model and all I needed was the key. I have been looking through the app and desktop and have yet to find it(should have been the 1st item available. Looked for 45 min and had class). They do offer though lots of premium purchases and very good content.
I love this app for 3D visualisation of anatomy. I lost my login recently and my organisational code wasn't working. When I asked support, they checked and told me I probably needed a new code. I asked them to check a few more things before hassling the staff at my organisation and they came back to advise that I should ask for the code again. And what do you know? The organisation had given us the wrong code. I shouldn't be surprised, but I am glad the Complete Anatomy support team was so kind.
Great app very detailed! Extremely useful for diagnosing issues. Be amazing in a future update to be able to lock the body position and manually manipulate body parts to see muslcle and joint interactions 🤞
Extremely slow and unresponsive, I can't really comment on the content as just trying to get to it was such a frustrating experience that I uninstalled it and will seek an alternative.
I contacted complete anatomy a few days ago regarding the app not working for the new Google pixel 6 pro with Android 12. I gave a low rating due to it not being up to date. The app I have used for years and is an amazing resource for anyonez especially in the medical field. It seems they have fixed the issue and responded fairly quickly. Thus, I have changed my rating to express them responding quickly and taking care of the issue.
One would think these folk would wNt people to actually purchase a subscription. Since they stick you in a perpetual catcha loop, I decided to purchase a different app. Go figure, you blew the sale. Congratulations! Great business model.
Would've given it a 5 star but I just hate how the free version is so limited. I mean the paid version pretty much unlocks everything I want. I also hate how laggy the app is, I mean it's not as smooth as it should be– it takes many minutes to even just load and once you're in the app it just lags everytime you just use the various functions.
Trial doesn't help. Who has time for three day only trial? Need for laymans idea, not for professional guys. They need to make basic and professional different apps features
App gets crashed randomly. Please fix it immediately, otherwise the overall content and use ability is awesome!!
I am a professional medical loss Assessor. I have about 30 anatomy atlas because of my job most needed ability, anatomy This is the best ever software in this matter. Thanks for this
This Atlas is really good for med students. The Atlas offers detail labeling which is not present in other Atlas apps. But it can be a little heavy on mid range phones
Super intuitive and easy to use. It's really complete with a lot of good features
As a student of medicine, this app is really helpful. The 3D and detailed analysis is mind-blowing. I recommend it to aspiring medical students.
Update 2: Customer service has provided appropriate compensation. Update1: Works now. Hope customer service will compensate for the time users were unable to access the app. Poor customer service. When an issue has persisted for a month, has been documented to this extent, I expect customer service to tell me what the problem is (Android 12 compatibility), that it's being looked in to, and compensation, not more questions.
Perfect app. Loooove it. Best of all. Even better than real models. I'd love the app to keep being free🙏🏽
The original app was great until they stop supporting it. I've purchased it several times but now they want $99 yearly subscription for a cumbersome and slow app. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
Great app when it was working. Used it daily to explain procedures to patients. It apparently is now incompatible with Android 12... Will update review if there is a fix. Until then I will be awaiting my subscription refund. -------- Update, problem now fixed. Updates to app are better than ever!
Great app. Helped me alot. It will be a great addtion to add a selection tool to interact with the selected parts ,like isolate, fade or delete the selected parts. thank you
I left a 1star review yesterday regarding my experience with the "Essential Anatomy 5" app. To my surprise, a kind representative went above and beyond, was able to resolve my issue quickly within 24hrs. I would change/delete my other review but I'm not sure how.
Hi, it crashes on Android 12 Beta 4. I know it is not supposed to run on a beta version system but can't find other feedback channels.
New to the app! I love it however there is a simple issue that is keeping me from giving 5 stars. When I watch a lecture, there is a problem where the left side of the screen is covered by a banner full of the lecture material, rather than the actual lecture itself. This creates a problem with labels lining up, and makes parts of the video unable to be seen.
The app looks really good and is the best quality I have seen. It's just a shame it uses a subscription pricing structure. The practitioners this quality of tool needs to get to, in the UK at least, are either low paid or volunteers and would not be able to afford the price point either as a one off or repeated subscription. If you want more users, make it a lot cheaper with a one-off payment. That's what sells to the audience that need this tool. Had to uninstall, free version is limited.
Incredible app for med school, intuitive way to learn anatomy visually. Being able to pin certain structures and create folders with these and share them amongst users would be an excellent addition in a future update for students or professors to create dossiers of different structures for different systems. Edit: gave 5 stars before, but the optimisation of the app on my phone (which is relatively new, galaxy s21 fe) and ipad are horrendous; jittery movement, long loading times, crashes etc.
