I LOVE that this app gives you a study plan automatically based off your specific needs. As someone with ADHD it makes it so much easier to study for the test without having to figure out how much you need to study each day, etc. It just does that for you! Wish more learning apps would take this method!!
Excellent source of study. It goes into good depth with a lot of questions on the same topics and many others under the cert. I'm very grateful this app is free as it tops most sites as far as free study/learn when it comes to content
This app is truly awesome if you want to learn on the go. It's very informative and allows you to reset the levels if you wish to retake them to increase your knowledge. Explanations for right and wrong answers are very detailed. Great study tool.
Clean interface, the ad supported version doesn't feel like a bad app, the ads are there but no as intrusive as others apps
Very easy to use. The explanations for answers both right and wrong are detailed enough to understand but not so much that its overbearing. The testing method of learning is something to get used to but feels very efficient for passing the exam.
Fantastic App, really easy to use, jammed with questions and answers, extremely useful app to have while studying for your CompTIA A+ course. I highly recommend the pro version.
Thankfully it's a one time purchase instead of the ripoff SAAS. It works great so far.
So far the questions and answers work fantastic to get information and what I need to study more. The daily requirement to get a passing score is awesome since you say when you are taking the test, then it tells you how much to study per day to achieve that!
Passed Core 1 and Core 2 using this app, a book, practice tests, and free videos. This app was great for moments when you get on your phone but don't know why you're on it. Put it where your social media apps are, and you will easily get hooked on taking quizzes and learning throughout the day. I found it helpful. The free features were enough and the ads weren't bad at all. Also, if you haven't taken a CompTIA test before, the format they use for the app is very similar to the real thing.
Really helpful in getting my A+. Good questions and great explanations on the vast majority of them. Minimum amount of spelling/grammar issues and very little technical problems while studying. I really wish I could've paid to not have ads, but the ads are very unintrusive. Only had problems when getting an ad after backing out of session instead of just getting one when finishing.
I find this app very helpful. Please consider an option for the test to be timed and another allowing users to select a number of randomised questions for the quiz that pops up via notifications when you're not using the app. Currently it covers every single card you've studied so far, so can get very (too!) long. A small bug in said quizz: for questions with multiple answers, picking just one correct item automatically brings up all correct items without user having to complete their selection.
I enjoy the questions and the various levels of answering them. This is a through overview that helps to explain the theory or concept in laments terms. I like the practice modules and testing. User friendly and not difficult to navigate either. Enjoy the grading as you progress as well. Would like to see some performance examples in later versions if possible. Thank You very much from a kenetic learner.
Really feel like the questions in the app so far are replicating what I've seen in other examples of practice tests online. Looking forward to seeing how strong I get and this app lets me know if I'm weak or not and so far, I'm doing well. Thank you so much.
Looks good so far! This contains questions that are recycled like flash cards, until you get them all right. really like the generator that tells you how many questions that you must master before taking the test.
Best A+ 1001 app there is! After two failures on the exam, I downloaded and studied from this app and PASSED! Feedback to the correct/incorrect questions helped very much and reduced the need for self-searching for explainations. The only reason I didn't rate 5stars is because another app MAY or may not contain a very, VERY similar example of the simulations from the actual exam. I'm not sure why there were so many complaints about ads from other raters. My android didn't receive many at all.
This is a great app to use for studying. I'm a Auditory learner and this app hit it right on the nail. Perfect for when you can't bring your laptop 💻 of studying low-key ☺️. Thank you so much for developing this app!
A solid amount of inaccurate information, useless information, and repeat questions. Still, the majority is useful, but you'll absolutely need a more accurate source of information and/or questions.
Also, don't bother spending the $10 to upgrade to PRO. These questions can be pulled freely from the Internet, incorrect responses and all. Flagged multiple incorrect questions and left feedback on each.
While the interface and functionality of this app are great, the content is full of grammar and syntax errors, which make it difficult to study from. Even more of an issue, there is inaccurate information. THIS IS NOT CURRENTLY AN APPROPRIATE APP TO STUDY FOR YOUR COMPTIA A+ EXAM WITH! (I'm an IT professional with over 24 years in the industry.)
seems ok. ads after each unit but not too bad or sneaky
The question bank in this app is very large for being free. The ads are non-intrusive typically a banner at the bottom of each page and a short video at the end of each section. I think using this as a mobile supplement to other materials will expose you to more topics that can appear on the test. With the nature of Core 1 and 2 knowing more is helpful.
Your explainations need a complete rework, at least 70% of them are "this is correct because it's correct"
Wonky UI and some bad grammar. I just got into this app for a college course. So far it's just frustrating. I'm just going to list the 1st issue for now. More if I have room. Fix it and I'll remove this. 1: 1.1 Mod A quiz. 1st question to order the steps. Click and drag correctly per instructions, marked wrong. Why? Cause you also have to click the circles to put numbers next to them. Why? Just why
Ads are displayed at the bottom of the screen during a practice test, which blocks half of the next question button. It will not go away after google removes the ad, another just pops up after 30 seconds. Also, when reviewing my practice test, the ones I got wrong had another answer checked which I specifically remember not checking
This is a helpful study tool and certainly beats paying a ton of money for a practice test. However, several of the questions are outdated (Intel Pentium? Daisy Wheel Printers?) I just completed a prep course from 2019 and I'm running into a lot of terminology that wasn't mentioned. I don't think it's the fault of the course because all the terms I'm unfamiliar with are older.
Great app, helped me pass Core 1. Now that I'm preparing for Core 2, I'm perturbed by the recurring Core 1 Questions that keep showing up. This is VERY distracting and annoying. If it's a lot to ask that you guys make them not show up when they are not supposed to, then please add a method for us to remove any questions we do not want to see on our practice exams. Pleeeeease.
Helps studying some question. Needs improvement. - Bought PRO and don't see a difference in what questions I can access, so as far as I can tell it didn't do anything other than remove ads. If the app was higher quality, might be worth the $9.99. - Currently there's little things that are unpolished that diminish the experience heavily. One is the test bank has many questions that are omitted from the practice sections. Another is the study plan will repeat the same questions over and over.
Honestly the ads aren't bad at all. They're not in the way and they do not prevent you from learning. The app itself feels very smooth and user friendly. The questions are straight forward and feel almost like you created flash cards. Between studying this and my Comptia books, I'm impressed with the app.
I rarely ever pay for a full version because I'm a cheap×××. However, this app is an excellent resource for studying for CompTia exams. I'm surprised this wasn't designed by CompTia itself, but it would probably be more expensive and maybe more buggy. This is a great comprehensive app with hundreds of questions worth the free download and the one-time 9.99 upgrade fee you pay unlocks thousands. Lastly, one reviewer mentioned their ADHD - same. I find myself more on this now than my social media.
