I am currently taking CompTIA a+ at Cal right College and recently my macbook got stolen as well as my phone so rather unfortunately I am locked out of all of my accounts at the moment so I decided to see what kind of apps might correspond with my courses to keep me fresh and so far this one is great it has a while still in the exact same area of information an entirely different and much more indepth catalog of knowledge I am impressed as well as stumped on several questions!
I love this study tool. The only change I would make is to randomize the order of the multiple choice answers so that users don't gain the advantage/disadvantage of remembering the position of the correct answer when repeating quizzes. Still, this is my favorite study tool for the Comptia A+ aside from books and video lectures on Udemy.
This app is stuck in the update phase with the spinning wheel of death. If the app developer send out an update they should at least verify that users are able to download the updated and that it is working.
Very helpful with test prep for the CompTIA exam but wish the answer choices for the quiz questions would get switched up every now and then instead of being in the same order
Requires you to create an account. Listen up app developers, I just want to take some practice questions, not waste time filling out sign up forms.
Helps me remember what I studied and what I need to work on remembering. It's a good way to make sure everything is right in your mind about the A+ exam.
Are all the questions made by it's users? Are ANY of the test/questions from the app developer? If not than how can you justify charging $10? At the time of this review I didn't see many test that actually felt professional. No way of knowing if the answers are even correct since they are all from anons.
Just was asked what tool would be used to attach female connector to UTP cable.. wire stripper, punchdown block, rj45 crimpers, punchdown tool. Considering i do this every day and use my punch down tool to connect the UTP to female keystone connectors and my rj45 crimpers to connect the UTP to male rj45, I thought I safely could answer punch down tool. I was wrong though, and the "correct" answer is rj45 crimper. I'd find a better app to practice with.
Some questions are in error, ie: Not possible to configure CMOS, It's BIOS/UEFI that can be configured.
Absolutely terrible 😲😲 App continuously kept failing with an error message that says its not available
It's good guys. Just keep on studying a hour a day for every topic. Hopefully I pass
How can i purchase the premium if after the trails it takes me to a loading screen with no buying option
This app really gives me the truth about how much I don't know. In the process, it gives me the opportunity to learn. Great app!!
Recently downloaded & created account, a week later the same account info associated with this account leaked or found available online. Funny how it only occurred with the one associated with this app.
Great app. Good for studying real quick or on the go.
Very dated, covers a combined test
wont update so i can use... and i paided for this!
Great Information. Very Helpful.
8.8 Update. 1. Dev's response is phone access permission required by Google. No, it's not. Bc I downloaded the FREE the one by CoCo Learning which costs 3.99 vs this one at 9.99 AND has Network+ and others. U checked app permission on both. CoCo DOES NOT requires permission to anything to work. 2. I'm now REQUIRED to register with an email act, though I paid for the app, or I CAN'T USE IT! App WILL NOT work unless I give 'Google Services" access to "Phone." Why does the app need access to my "phone"? I paid for the app.
I passed my A+ exam and I used this in the beginning while I was reading the book and studying for the exam. I think it helped a bit, but not sure if it's worth spending that much on this. The app the mostly helped me was the one that cost $7.99 each for 901 and 902.so look for that one. This app in the other it's meh, I just bought it since it doesn't cost that much but I guess it did help a bit in the end.
It is NOT free. It's only free for day one then you have to buy it. Should not be listed as a free app.
Very informative And helpful
This is for the 901 902 and networking. However, it doesn't cover Mike Myers A+ guide: managing and troubleshooting PCs 901&902.
Amazing app, trial was flawless. Was about to buy before my trial was up, unlock premium price is a little too steep. Good work though
Exact same questions as in the book. Actually, exact same everything. You made a great work with the software and the interface, but why does it cost money for those who purchased the book too. I cannot see the added value. Anyhow, great job.
For the price a great little study tool to have on hand at all times. I really like it and I enjoy all of Mike's training.
This app is very basic and does not explainations for most answers. Also multiply answer questions are.not clearly marked until after that needs to be fixed
Free trial period : great so far, very helpful in gauging where I need to focus my studies.
Wrong answers, and Microsoft knows what an in place upgrade is, found others as well.
I have to give this app a fairly good rating so far. It could always use more question, but it's a nice little refresher and it gives general enough questions that cover broad areas of each topic .
