If you enrol on this courseware, be sure to do it in a browser or desktop. When using the app, progress outside the app is not synced. Periodically crashes too and laggy. With regards to courseware, reinforcement learning algorithm is generally suitable as exam practice, though some questions are suspect, and explanations provided for some solutions are too generic (boilerplate definitions) or not contextualised to question (unable to explain why an option is correct/incorrect).
The app keeps crashing when I open a module. I have had to uninstall and re-install to fix any bugs in the app, which seems to have worked. So this means that the bug fixes are not being applied (patched) when the app gets updated.
I am so grateful there is a user friendly app for CertMaster. It made it more likely to use and more accessible to use. RECOMMENDATIONS: Please add the smart refresh option to the app. The mobile version implies the user is on the go and wants to make progress.
App used to work on my Samsung S10+ Now when I load it up, it shows me Mastered, In progress, and not started. And if I haven't mastered the course, the app crashes. If this could be fixed, that would be fantastic
Great app when you get past the 40 million times it crashes trying to sync it with your account, that is, if it ever does sync with your account. Paid $200 for security+, you would think there would be a functioning app.
It's not even usable. You would think for as much as you pay for certifications and the study material they would make an app that works. It would be useful for practice before my exam, as I travel a lot.
Using Linux + which is new to me so it's overwhelming. I also took an introduction to Linux class. This forces you to retake questions you get wrong. Repetition until you get it. I love the layout. I think it's a year paid subscription vs 3 months for some
Not sure how the app is relevant for the exam, but seems fairly good. I however miss a feature that would allow to test knowledge accross all modules. For now one can only learn/test within one chapter/module at a time.
Awesome study guide, passed both A+ 901 &902. Occasional crashes. And occasionally a question wouldn't load but the answers would. If left on more than 10-20 min without using then would have to close out and restart
IF there's an upside to this awful app, it's that it's just as awkward, misleading, frustrating, and poorly executed as Comptia's actual exams, of which I've now taken three. Do yourself a favor and just avoid the brain-numbing ineptitude of Certmaster altogether.
The app constantly crashes and you cannot do the training. This app is essentially a worthless waste of drive space on your phone.
Amazing, I'm not a fan of the price tags of the CompTIA CertMaster packages but these questions are very well put and straight forward. I've taken the 220-901 and studying with these questions helped me to pass my test. These questions do a good job of breaking down the sections and subsections of the exams.
EDIT 03/31/2021 I do not know what your devs did but you broke your app. It is now pretty much useless, crashing or claiming I have no licenses when they're still good for almost a year. It is a good study tool. I dropped a star off the review because it asks you to rate and review it multiple times in a study session. That gets annoying and distracting and breaks your study flow.
This app crashes very often. When it does work it's a really nice experience, but when it crashes there is nothing you can do except wait a day and try again.
I am having a bug which says it fails login because of some misconfiguration. I checked and my credentials are fine. Please help me figure out why it fails to authenticate. I reinstall and same problem.
I like the idea of a mobile version for convenience but PLEASE speed up the load time to view and answer questions. It requires extreme patience and prayer.
Won't even start just keeps crashing. Really frustrating! This service isn't free and it's a IT related app you think who ever CompTIA hired to represent them would have their stuff together. Really disappointed!
When you try to take the practice test, the app is not mobile friendly...you have to scroll to the left to read the questions. It costs $130 to access the mobile app, but it's not even optimized for mobile devices.
It will not allow you to download sections not started. Yet they have a setting for storage use. Otherwise it's fine.
Paid alot of money for these modules. Now the app doesn't work . I only paid the premium $$ to get the apps for mobile studying without my laptop. Feel really ripped off.
Can't even login. It says username and password not found, but I can login with the same username and password on my desktop and access my cert master practice modules just fine.
There are some serious problems with this app. You have to go out of your way to stop it from crashing. It has so much potential and is an amazing tool, but the app itself is poorly done. Just use the website. It's clear they don't care about this app.
Awesome app but crashes alot. Only way to get it working again is to uninstall/reinstall in order to work again.
my exam was last week, 80 percent of the questions were out of the content of this app. don't be fooled by CompTIA bundles packages. they are usless, i swear doesn't help you at all instead go and search YouTube and Google for best and free A+ practice or training courses. don't pay alot of money to comptia.inc. CompTIA is stealing our money. Today 12/03/2019 I faild the exam again, first of CompTIA gave me less Time than what it supposed to be. 90 minutes /84 question.
App crashes a lot as soon as I master a leson so the data is not saved and it will just say in progress also there is no offline mode
I started using this app to study for my Security+ and in the beginning it was great. I was able to go between my phone and computer to complete sections and they stayed synced. But now, I can't even get into a module without the app crashing and at the worst time for me,(seeing as how my test is in a few weeks). I really wish they would fix this bug. This app was convenient for me due to my job, but now, it's hindering my studies.
