Permissions Clarification:
-Location is needed for use of business directory. User can search gun businesses near your current location
-Photos/Media/Files is needed to allow the app user to select or choose media files and photos to upload to the app in the training log and firearm library sections
-Microphone: This is tied to photos/media. In requesting permission for media we have to include microphone permission.
-Device ID & Call information: This permission allows us to send push notifications down to the user with major news updates etc.

More annoying than useful. Not that it's not useful, but it's primary focus is more of a mini blog & news app with an over overabundance of notifications that make you turn them ALL off. There's useful stuff in there if you're willing to dig for it, but you have to suffer through a seemingly constant barrage to be able to find the good nuggets. Then the emails start, with unsubscribes that just lead to 404 not found errors. None of this is conducive to an overall positive user experience.
Could be a good program but seems to be buggy. Especially when trying to enter a training log, which is why I really wanted this app. It won't update your total shots fired unless you close then reopen... Now it just won't let me look at my training logs or access the dash board. Maybe I'll try it again at some point. Using a Google 4xl but it just doesn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still didn't work.
If you're one of the users that this app works for, go buy a lottery ticket, you're a lucky person. The first time in the app was somewhat frustrating, owing to my unfamiliarity with this app. The second time, and each time thereafter, it immediately crashed. I deleted and reinstalled, a few times, and could not even open the app without it crashing. Other reviews indicate that this problem isn't unusual. 4.7 stars, I don't believe it.
App keeps crashing on me, opens up, asked for a review then it doesn't open up and closes. Same issue since I've had it, very few times that I have actually been able to use the app, navigate and view it
The app is ok. Its definitely easier to navigate than the web page.Though it doesnt seem to allow me to complete any courses on the app so 3 outta 5. I would like to have a 30 sec rewind and fast forward button on the vids. This would really make it easier to review.
Nice app for Conceal Carry. Information is organized well from left menu. One you fill out your information it's easy to access when needed in one app, like (My Firearms, My Contacts, My Permits, My Courses, My Certificates) Everything works fine for me exept My Courses. It's said loading courses, but nothing happens. I'm using Samsung Note 20 Ultra, waited 10 minutes, nothing. Maybe my phone is not compatible or something. Otherwise I find this app useful and informative.
I like the app. Lots of potential BUT, lots of bugs. A lot. Not loading properly, doesn't update when information is saved and failures to complete tasks. I really hope things improve.
Very informative, professional, and fun to listen to. A great balance of news, how-to, legal issues, and some humor sprinkled in. I haven't been listening very long, only about a month but I download every episode so I can listen while working. I like that each episode is typically over an hour. I usually listen my entire 8 hour factory shift. Keep up the great work guys. If you read this on a podcast you have permission to use my name (I hope you see this!)
If you use it for nothing more than the reciprocity map it is totally worth it but there are always great articles about what is going on in the world of guns and specifically in the concealed carry arena plus a lot of other great tools and information for you to store in the app or find.
Just installed app on phone. Limited use to this point. The expectation is that this app will be a handy aid for reminding us of the state gun laws and reciprocity that we have. As we travel in our RV, we need to be aware of each state's gun laws, transportation and the differences with our home state. This app DOES NOT eliminate the need to research state gun laws for those that pertain to our travel itinerary. Gun owners have a huge responsibility and ignorance is no excuse....or pay the consequences...just saying.
i have been a listener of the podcast for a while now and it is great for new conceal carriers like me. and now with this app it's really easy to see my reciprocity map when i travel. plus with all the training help, it makes this the perfect app.
Don't like that when i click on an article a "message" pops up for a millisecond before the article opens. After closing and opening article numerous times I can tell it's a political subliminal style message and I don't need to be programmed
Too Many Adds. when you purchase anything on the site you are not allowed to finalize the purchase before getting bombarded with offers for other merchandise. one of the most commercialized apps on my phone. I am about ready to delete it.
Fantastic! Great resources and very helpful. I love the laws and reciprocity sections as I spend a lot of time traveling between 2 states. Their podcast is super insightful and helpful. Great company!
I like the features this app has but the issue I have is when you update anything you get a message failed to update, and no matter how many times you try or even if you restart the phone or app it keeps going it.
100% ad free does not mean no ads. I've gotten a push notification ad from this app every day that I've had it installed. 3 days, 3 ads. I wouldn't be upset except for this from the app description: "100% free and 100% No Ads EVER"
This app is invaluable for traveling CCW holders. Even if you don't have a CCW permit, it's a wealth of information, self training logs, state laws, vendor and range databases, and the app is free. The one thing I would like to see is links to the products and services I have purchased through the Concealed Carry web site. For instance, the Legal Boundaries Travel Guide which I can access on the Conceal Carry web site, but I would like to get it VIA the app, when using my phone.

This app, the information, and the app/site organization are all fantastic. Easy to follow, timely updates, and vital rights and legal articles provide the most comprehensive legal carry resource that I know of, and all right at your fingertips. Great Job!
Excellent way to keep track of carrying laws in various states. Great podcast trainings. Awesome to see which businesses around you support or restrict your gun rights. Definitely worth it and so are their paid trainings (they have lots of free ones too).
This app helped me to become aware of the scrutiny against our second amendment. I am a truck driver and I travel quite a bit in the Midwest, mountain Time zone, and Southeast. This app is very helpful for me! If I could give it 10 stars I would! Thank you concealed carry!
A lot of really good information esp for noobs. I love the studies you have conducted only wish they were more current. I have not tried to log anything yet. Hope I don't have the same experience that others have reported. Hopefully you will keep adding content. Thank you! This is such a great tool.
In the description it says, "no ads ever!" The 1st thing that happened when I opened it, an add popped up and blocked what I was reading, so I uninstalled it for lying to me.
I'm giving it a 4.5 stars because the info & format is very good, very useful & user-friendly. But, you get a lot of emails from them but you you can opt out but it doesn't bother me to just delete the ones that aren't relative to me.
This app is a must-have for anyone interested in or practicing the concealed carry lifestyle. There is plenty of information for new and experienced CCW permit holders, as well as their podcast, news and their online store embedded within. I have been nothing but satisfied with this app.

The best app out there! If you Conceal Carry, this is a must have. Frankly, if you own a gun, you need this app. ALL the tools you will need to answer any questions you have. App covers the laws traveling through other states, podcasts and other tools. I cannot say enough about this. You have nothing to loose, it's free!
A must have if you carry. Whether you conceal carry or open carry. Especially useful if you travel on the interstate a lot through different states, like myself.
It's still early but, so far so good. This looks like a very good app with great information and resources. I have only had the app for a couple of weeks so we'll see. I'm a little bothered by being asked to rate the app so soon after downloading it, but I understand it helps. Time will tell if the quality remains constant, so will my assessment be modified.
when I first downloaded the app, I down loaded the wrong version. It was the old one. I got intouch with the support team and they emailed me back and sent me a link to the newest version. Customer service is good. They respond quickly. As far as the app goes, the only flaw is that when I put my CCP state information in and try to view the reciprocity of other states it dies not show.
