Conext ComBox Tablet App

The Conext ComBox tablet app is the mobile user-interface to the ComBox. Tablet users with the Android operating system can now use the Conext ComBox tablet app to monitor and manage performance of their Solar system “while on the go”. Available for free download from the Android Market, the ComBox Android tablet app allows users to view graphical displays of their solar system harvest, compare energy production, view event logs, and change Conext device settings at any time. Operators of Conext solar systems can now also view system status, and respond to alerts instantly and remotely.

This app fails in the Grid section. There is a communication failure that doesn't happen when viewed via a web browser.

If this app only gave me real time voltage and current of my battery bank, I'd give it five stars. As it stands, it's not of much use to me.

Can only use an IP address so you can't use a dynamic DNS service. It will only save the last IP address you used, so if you have multiple systems you have to put in all the login details each time.

Being unable to input a dyns address instead of an IP address is a real problem.

Good tool that could be great if it supported phones. Would also be good if it remembered graph preferences (line vs. bar / compare-to, etc.)

Great app! I'm a battery guy, so I am always looking at battery Voltage as the primary indicator of SOC. Could you include a new chart under "Battery" that shows a line graph of battery voltage over 24hrs,7 days, 1 month, etc. Thanks for your consideration. -BW

This is an impressive app. I have installed different inverter's communications system - and this is the easiest to install and setup. Schneider has already released a firmware update for the ComBox, which is very easy to install. I am having some problems setting up the email reporting, so I am going with a solid 4 stars - not bad for a version 1.0 app.
