Confide

This app was awesome. You could read a sent message and then once the recipient read it, it disappeared. It was genius. Now they have messed it up completely!!!!! You have to pay for certain features, which if they kept their old functions I'd be inclined to do, but now the messages just stay there like a typical text thread. There is a confidential mode that erases them as they are sent, but I can see all my recipient's messages sitting there. Too bad they screwed up what was once a great app.

I do not see how confide can be as private as they say it is because under federal law they are required to keep all messages in case they are subpoenaed in to court. And their literature says that your messages are taking off their hard drive after a short. Of time but even though they disappear they may still remain on the server you just cannot see them.

I was invited to Confide by a very good friend. I can see why people would enjoy having their stuff encrypted. However, I do not want to pay each month, year or whatever to get their services. I can get all of the same stuff and more for free with signal. While I can understand the need for "dues" or a type. I just can't afford everything like that.

I used to love confide but the recent changes are awful and have turned what was a great, easy to use app, into a horrible experience of frustrating UI. Bring back the "next message" button! Why add extra unnecessary clicks?!

The recent update has completely ruined this app. It use to be the best app, now its become so bad that i will be looking for an alternative.. the way it works is so bad now, its not even self explanatory amymore. Why change some that was already really good.. put it back to what it was and quick. Such a poor design now, so disappointed..!

I dont like that it makes the other person's text disappear after you read it but your own message stays. I pay for this and I think if I chose the messages the person sends to me should stay also

I have been using this app for several years ago. Firstly in the free version, now with suscription due to with updates, they started to restrict the number of attachments. Now, I had to open a new account (for some days) and came up with other surprise, 'incognito mode' is no longer available for the free version, so they are forcing to pay for using it, as free version is starting to be demo. I am dissapointed because the functions are not available for free version as when I started using it.

The update is not user friendly. Not sure why they couldn't just leave well enough alone. Looking for an new app so I can uninstall confide.

Pretty good self explained app. The only thing I can't stand or deal with is that I accidentally release my finger off the message im reading, it's gone I cant read again..

Absolutely love it, no trace left of anything that you send. Easy to use, absolutely love it.

great app awesome privacy and secrecy what with the encryption method and all the incognito settings that's already set up and ready to go/use upon downloading and running it.

This new update is terrible it was so easy to use before an now there are so many more steps just to read a message it should really go back to the way it was

Installed the app, but stopped short of signing up. Reason? It asks for my email address and mobile number; so there goes anonymity and privacy for a six!!! Monthly / annual fees? Sorry, a one time fee is what I seek. Remove the requirement of signing up with an email address and mobile number, have a one time purchase fee and I'll sign up. Am impressed that the app can prevent recipients from taking screenshots.

okay so this ad might be good no encrypted but at the end of the day these f****** took my money off my account without him even knowing when I tried to delete them off my phone completely so they were not even on my phone and they still charge my s***

even the free to use version is packed with security settings, a primogenitor for personal messaging security. confide is the nessaging app that everyone should be using if they have respect for the person they are communicating with, because it protects the message reciever, even more then the sender. you would be amiss to find a messenger as secure in the play store. there are plenty of apps who claim they pass encrypted messages but its only one way and messages are stored. BE SMART, USE IT!

I don't like the new update it's confusing only showing part of the conversation and leaving it up for 24hr I don't like that I like instant delete like it used to have

once I saw this was a pay app, i didnt opt to use it. i didnt actually agree to pay for the service, and when i tried to double check to make sure my account was cancelled (for lack of a better word) , it said i didnt have an account. then i reviewed my bank balance and see they charged me. am awaiting a reaponse from developer. this really upsets me.

free trial beware turns out it's not so free when cancelling the subscription make sure you remove it from your Paypal as well as the billing department of confide, dont cancel it properly and they will continue with the yearly subscription fee which is $50 without any notification I am currently in a dispute lodged with PayPal I still use the free version but in my opinion the paid version was not what I needed. does not provide you with a cancellation number

There's better private messenger services....I prefer Signal, but Wickr is good too. Both are FREE, offer end-to-encryption, as well as message deletion, and phone calls are also encrypted. They also store no data other than the phone number being used.

They charged my card. I didn't want the subscription. I cancelled it immediately after I got the text saying they charged my card. I've been trying to contact them for 3 weeks about it and haven't gotten a response. They haven't even sent something saying that I can't have a refund. I mean, if you're going to take my cash and keep it for a subscription I'm not using, then you could at least respond back.

the interface to read messages is tedious, and the client js lacking features unless you pay for the $5-$10/month premium upgrade. guys? I'm pretty sure Signal encrypted messenger does everything your app does, but better, for free. Maybe the compamy behind Confide should consider making premium a fixed one time fee.

I like the idea, the UI looks intuitive and nice, but a paying dark mode ! I'm disappointed, I think people will be okay with advanced customisation available on purchase but dark mode, please make it available free ...

Used to be a great app until their recent update. It completely and utterly is useless.

This app was charged to my card and the payment was not authorized. I reached out to Confide and was told to provide my order number and a refund would be issued. That was on January 25th and still I have not received my refund. I submitted my order number within 30 minutes of getting their email. They have responded once to my dozen emails stating now that I need to contact Google play for a refund. Now my emails cannot be delivered to Confide. Very angry!

I never rate but this is The Worst! Stay away and you'll thank me later. This is the worst app, which clickbaits you into a loop where you would've no other choice than to invite others to have the pro subscription to be able to read your confidential messages. They are a big scam i now found and apparently the founder only is involved in such scamming apps. Stay away!

Very disappointed in how they calculated the days of free trial... to the minute on the 7th day... I would've thought I had until midnight of the 7th day... wrong... I started it at 1 am Day 1 and it expired at 1 am day 7... not 11:59 pm... so they charged me $99 for a year's subscription and when I contacted them, they never responded. It's OK, they obviously need the money more than me, and obviously don't know the power of word of mouth and the internet. STAY AWAY. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED ⚠️

This app is so great I love how private amd secure it is amd how Noone can steal your messges after they read them or screen shotthem around this apps the best app yet all messging apps need to be like this one I love this app I just love how it dissappear right away so people can't share your messges around on social media any where amd that it can't be found if search up that it so awsome this is truly what I call true Privacy ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

This this app is total bloatware and add where you can't use any of the features they advertise without paying for them and their prices are ridiculous considering they don't offer any actual service coverage and just a layover app that is simple to make on a I've seen hundreds of times across the market on all appstores. Basically what I'm saying is a ten-year-old could have made this on a Android tablet.

Suddenly today a notification after turning them OFF.. oh it's from the developer.. oh asking for money. I get it, money is money, but that is an obnoxious way to do it. Especially after receiving in the morning, well that's an instant uninstall.
