Configurator for Kodi - Complete Kodi Setup Wizard

Supposedly, this app does the setup work for you? Makes setup easy? HA! All you can do is click blindly and HOPE something happens, lol. Nothing in the configurator has any kind of instruction. So then after installing (I think) a few random add-ons that could end up being pretty much anything, you check Kodi, which also, may as well be in another language... empty, far as I can tell. Where is this supposed "easy setup"? I guess that button must be missing on mine. What a waste of time that was.

Invasive ads, not intuitive app. Not user friendly. If I have to learn to use the app, I'll just set up kodi the old fashioned way. But the pop up ads that appear at any time using any or no apps is crazy. Apps that look like android system pop up and you can't back out of it without clicking it. Very dangerous.

It made updating to Kodi18 easier. The introductory video was not helpful in the installation process. The build list does not have any comments or descriptions so the user selects with any basis other than appearance. We chose the Supremecy build, it didn't look like the thumbnail at all. When installed, most addons didn't work, including the Supremecy add-on. Everything in Kodi with the build was painstakingly slow. Likely due to the high overhead of graphic backgrounds. I appreciate the effort of the developer, the app is free with some ads. Update, it is very restricted to update url resolvers etc. Super slow so we are going to uninstall this from our Android TV box.

DON'T INSTALL! Still trying to get this off my phone. Don't even try! Leaves fragments in your system and apps drawer upon uninstall. (Previous feedback) Good if using one time... But for every click, there is and add to wait on. Not as intuitive as described. After clicking the build and opening Kodi... Not what I wanted or as shown. Seems like an ad stream for the developer.

Excellent app, makes installing kodi a breeze and configuring a snap. But be careful I had used this app before, I think since it first came out. They didn't have pro version back then. Now they limit what you get with free version. I paid for the pro version. I did not see anywhere where they said I was signing up for a monthly subscription. Great app for convenience but not worth $4.99 a month. They are just gathering together what is not their creation and making it available in one place.

Used to be good, now it is slow and clunky. After one successful build install (that failed to auto-update despite the revelant settings being applied) I am now prevented from using the app by a "Donate" message box which ultimately stops you using any other functions than being directed to the pay screen. Completely unscruplious attempt to force people to pay £4.99. No thank you, watching ads was one thing that I was happy to tolerate due to laziness, but I won't be railroaded. Deleted.

For the most part, its pretty simple! But anytime it asks me to install a plug-in and I accept, it gets to 100% and freezes. :( if i tap the screen, it just cancels it. Edit: I finally got it to work, but now it buffers every 10-20 seconds.

So it's says for $4.99 you are a pro user with no ads. Guess what I'm a pro user and the ads still keep popping up! So annoying. And if you don't pay the 4.99 a box comes up asking for a donation of 4.99 and the only way to get rid of it is to pay. It wouldn't be so bad if the ads would stop popping up

The Configurator for Kodi is an excellent addition to the original site. It downloaded and installed quick with no errors. This app will allow you to change Builds very easily and there is a great selection to choose from. You can also perform maintenance and install updates as they become available.

Good app but it contains intrusive ads or 'notifications' that pop up on screen when you're not even on the app. Very annoying and took me a while to find out which app was doing it. I understand the need for ads inside the app but please stop the ads or notifications that pop on my home screen. Uninstalled the app for now, hope this is sorted.

It would be useful if every button press didn't launch an ad. I found after 5 ads in 60 seconds I could not tell if I was in the interface or an ad. I kept going back to the main interface and clicking on a button and being shown yet another ad. Bug perhaps?

it works, what else can i say? it has multiple builds for boxes, helps you choose a configuration for what you want, tons of tutorials on how to load, how to use and how to add multiple builds to a setup. seems to completely automate the entire process of building a kodi box. also helps to keep builds updated. the developers have dones very well with this app. expect ads after almost every selection lol

I have enjoyed this app for a short time. But now that there was an update, you can't use it without paying for it. The pop up on the screen does not give you an option to use the app With ads. It is only click on the pay monthlh with no adds. I think it's unfair that you would have a free download with no options

At first this was at least a four-star app. now since I haven't used it for a few weeks I'm getting intrusive ads that are forcing me to go back into the app just to get rid of the notification cross my screen with no way out of it. I can fly it is inappropriate but I wanted to go a little farther than that I'm going to find. Thank goodness I'm a Google insider.

deadset this app has always had the potential, to be the most useful kodi, ney, android appp, in the play store. I went to buy the premium many moons ago, only to realise it was a subscription!? that cost near the same as netflix or spotify... but quickly i figured out to tap backspace every add.. then came the regular confagurator tantrum, where youz would break kodi.. we'd come running back so you could 'repair'

Well I have pros and cons of the application. Although it does a fantastic job of installing the builds, I always come back to the Kodi application to find it has started from a first run startup. I know my Kodi settings are right but I'm not sure how to correct or repair that bug fix. So if that was a repairable error the app to me would be an outstanding and very usefully productive application to have. Thank you

I wanted this to work so I don't have to keep updating everyone else's but as soon as you open the app there begging for money, I go to install some add-ons and the list has broken add-ons listed so no way to know if it's working or not and everytime you do anything you get not 1 but two adds to install something so constant pop-ups, no idea if the add-on works so I opened kodi to find it now he's no add-ons, not even my working ones. Epic fail to a fantastic idea. Uninstalled!

Says to donate to become pro, and doesn't let you go past the screen if you don't want to be pro and deal with the ads and so on. I had to go back to this app to once again download a skin to be able to use the Kodi app and the app won't let me pass the first screen to be able to go where I need to. Please fix this problem.

Somehow I became a Pro user and I am billed automatically 4.99 a month. I cannot cancel it and uninstall does not stop the charge. After several attempts to stop it, I contacted the Attorney General's office of my state. They are going to help me cancel. It is bait and switch! Don't get tangled in this scam.

Always been a pain with ads, as in every click got yet another one, but put up with that. Now it's pay me for old outdated builds, are you joking! This is not free with ads it's now a pay to play app, and not worth the money, you cannot get past the 'Donate' screen which is not donate it's subscribe - no smegging way. Do a good up to date version and charge a smaller amount, like 99p, then you may get taken seriously. otherwise your just another muppet robbing people. People do NOT pay for this!

I dont know what your last update was about but now i cant cast/mirror w/o it losing signal. Got it working again but now a monthish later when i open the app it freezes on the "Donate to be a pro user" popup ad and i cant use it at all. "Setup for Kodi" app works better for me installing builds anyway just use thia one for casting. And now there seems ti be a glitch. So....

Missy City an amazing app and work Wonderful... However it no longer words unless you are a PAID SUBSCRIBER. It needs to work previously but now it's stopped at the box to be a paid subscriber and if you do not become a paid subscriber skinny app is Frozen at that point and will not let you use it at all... it has been frozen at this point for at least the past two or three months... You can uninstall and reinstall the app over and over again but it no longer regardless of what you do

Plenty of ads... frustrating to use, constantly shoved ads in your face. Would rather go the non lazy route and setup myself. The developer's response to all complaints is "Donate". No thanks, uninstalling instead. There's other apps that do the same, and have less ads.
