Well and truly broken on a Samsung S22. Whilst typing comments onto a page it begins to randomly insert extra whitespace whilst typing, I'm finding it Infuriating and completely impractical. The same is true for its sister app jira. As others have said its missing key features that would make Confluence accessible from your pocket like the ability you search a page or filter a table. The rendering of large tables of data is also something not to be desired on a mobile experience.
Would be better of if they just wrapped a browser. Updating a page results in random words showing up on random places on a page. Just thinking about tables crashees the app. Hosted Confluence is already an average quality app, but you guys managed to make it worse.
The app is useful to review articles. What I miss is the integration of my templates. Unfortunately I have no option to select the existing templates. It would be awesome if you would improve the usage of templates. For example when I'm sitting in a meeting and just have my smartphone, I would love to use the meeting note from Confluence but I only have the plain page for my notes.
Good reading experience and comments. The search feature and navigation are not intuitive and needs improvement
Absolutely love the software, but the (Android) app needs updates so we see see components in the app without having to press another button.
Pages coming up nicely, however I can't find a single blog post of myself or my colleagues. Are blogs not supported in the mobile app? Why?
After one update is asking to install a browser and I'm unable to log in anymore.
It takes special skill to create a worse version of the website, but atlassian have managed it 👍👍. The app is bare bones and functionality is infuriating. Commenting on pages, navigation after leaving the app for a second, hierarchy while responding to a question on the wiki ... everything made me want to reach for the laptop. Which is what I'll probably do from now on. UX is important. Please invest in it!!!
This app lacks way too many features compared to the desktop version. It's not even possible to add tables to a page. In addition the formatting of headers etc. is way off making it difficult to have a uniform design if people edit pages from mobile and desktop devices. Come on Atlassian! The app is in this state for too long now.
This is a great app for viewing your documents. Actually, I like viewing my documents here way better than the onenote app (slow, scrolling pages doesn't provide you a fix view, etc). The only thing for now I want to see in feature updates is the ability to edit same way we can online. For example, via online you can add macros but not in mobile app. I know atlassian will make this app better. :)
THIS APP IS STUPID THE CONSTANT EMAILS I RECEIVE FROM THIS COMPANY IS ABSURD. IVE ASKED MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE PAST 2 YEARS FOR THE COMPANY SUPPORT TEAM TO REMOVE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM THEIR SYSTEMS, HOWEVER THEY BLOCKED MY NUMBER, AND CALLED BACK FROM A SIMILAR NUMBER TO HARASS ME TILL THIS DAY.
Installed the app. After I press Log in or Sign up, black screen appears and nothing happens, and the phone is unresponsive.
Just wanted know why did you guys never came up with an idea to add Widget. These would have been a desired ask.
A nice start, but the new desktop experience is still much better. If you compare the new formatting to this mobile version, it needs a good amount of polish still. Text spacing is off, iframe embeds don't work. Looking forward to this getting more updates and improvements.
I can't log in anymore. Since a few weeks ago I cannot access my cloud confluence (got connection errors). I tried clearing cache, which didn't work. I tried clearing storage and now it won't log in. The error: "We couldn't log you in. Network timeout. Check your internet connection." I tried on WiFi and on Cellular. Internet works. But the App doesn't :-(
Lackluster versus actual website. The features are severely stripped down and you can't specify what type of pages you are creating. Also the editor is clunky and the UI isn't as intuitive. I'm disappointed in this one, Atlassian. :(
Confluence is the hotness for data science projects. Lots of integrations make it support easy to document as you go. No more Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoints, and Jupyter notebooks floating around in random file systems on the cloud or somebody's laptop. Everything lives in Confluence and we link out to Box, GitHub, JIRA, Jupyter, where needed. It even supports markdown, so you can just document in your code and push to a page. Our clients can comment on our work, to give timely feedback.
Very easy to use above else. Creating blogs and pages instead of emails has made the collaboration easier replacing multiple follow ups and losing details in the email thread. Do give it a try and it is awesome once you get used to its features and nuances.
I changed page a lot, but save button disappeared, only "go back", when I tap, it discarded all the changes. I copied them before going back but they are copied without images and links. There is no way to change, add or copy a link.
While useful, also quite minimal. Lacks support, for instance, for viewing a user's assigned tasks, or for viewing the formatting of v2 editor pages. Searching also seems hit or miss.
An inability to easily change dates within a page is a huge negative for me, tapping on a date when editing a page should show a date picker, it currently does nothing... This is a must have... Apart from that, it seems sound
cool app, helps me get updates and knowledge directly on my phone.
Searching is difficult and making a hyperlink (!) is impossible on the mobile app. The performance is legendarily slow. The help content doesn't even mention mobile apps. I don't understand how a knowledgebase cannot support this. If my company wouldn't force me to use this product, I would never switch away from Notion or Coda. It's apparent that Atlassian is a dinosaur company that has too many loose ties across touchpoints, not being able to handle them coherently.
Confluence app is good and helpful. Just one note - voting polls not working on the app. Polls don't display properly. Other than that, so far so good.
App is freezing a lot. Its of no use
Simple, elagant, and feature-rich. A great product for managing knowledge bases
As simple or complex as you need your only limit is your attention to detail
I can't even view pages without the app freezing up 50+% of the time and trying to edit a page is an absolute nightmare and does all kinds of crazy stuff with white space and backspacing and... well... it is just 100% unusable unless your goal is to fix a typo in a single word and even then... good luck... the cursor doesn't go where I tap. Note 10+ absolutely unusable.
