Do I need the Server or Cloud app?
To check if this is the right app for your site, open Confluence in your browser and go to Help ( ? ) > About Confluence. If your Confluence version number is 6.8 or later you can use this app! If your version number starts with 1000, then you'll need the Confluence cloud app instead.
What we collect

If you have read any of the other reviews you know what I am going to say. For reading documents this is fine, but the editor if severely lacking to the point of being useless. No uploading pictures or documents, no advanced editing a real disappointment. I would only recommend this app to someone who A) Has never used the desktop version, or B) has no intention of doing anything other than keeping simple notes.
Freezes and hangs while loading pages. Constantly crashes. Doesn't have many of the desktop features that make the tool productive and useful. I can't zoom in on a page. How the hell am I supposed to read an entire webpage at once on my 5" phone? The text is a half millimeter tall! What a worthless app.
It's a great initiative and The layout of the pages is good, but there's a lot of room for improvement: feature to find word in pages, is missing ; when loading pages I get many times a timeout and have to refresh page. The comments section doesn't work well also (a bit worse actually): comments don't load at all; After inserting a comment I don't have any visual confirmation and the contents of the comment, remains in the input box; Also in the comment section, as I write the id of a user I want to mention, there isn't any progress indicator, until the matching results pop up.
The app worked for all of five minutes pawn trying to reload it nothing would load text input doesn't work in the app gets stuck couldn't get through the basic setup without a lot of hassle and when I finally did the app never worked again. Very frustrating I guess I'll have to put it on my PC after all.
The app is really bad. It is literally impossible to use the confluence with this app in a meaningful way. Lots of features are missing compared to the desktop version, such as upload of images ..
DO NOT USE THIS APP! WORSE APP FOR A DEDICATED SOLUTION EVER! Using it to edit your page WILL mess up all the formatting of the whole page, I am now rushing back to a computer to try to fix the production page! 🤦
Missing a lot of features from the website. Many macros don't display at all. No page tree and navigation is annoying.
ok. now i can access confluence... i tried to add a new line to a table in an existing page. i failed... i tried to navigate to the parent page. i failed... seems to be a subset of the websites functionality... very sad
bad, cannot authenticate using 2-factor authentication which is a must. After 1st step (login/password) it is still displaying the same page without any messages what happened...
Ok for viewing documents, but terrible for editing. Does not have support for modifying tables, tabs (even for nested lists), or any macros. negative on the viewing side is that many macros do not display properly, including Jira links.
I believe I could get more done with Confluence if I opened it in Chrome and told Chrome to give me the desktop view. This app is kind of miserable to use.
Cannot write and publish the text, the app throws timeout error and consequently all my time spent to text editing becomes spent for nothing
I have to award a hi-five, although the present mobile handset (in use) does not measure up, so will load it onto my forthcoming cloud-enabled platform.
As useless as the mobile view for editing. Viewing works fine, but so does it in the browser
When I edit and save in the mobile, the data is not display correctly when edit in pc. But for view in pc the data display correctly.
Migrated from iPhone to Google Pixel and this app doesn't work anymore for me now even though it worked on iPhone and I'm connecting to the same server
Throws error when I try to edit pages. This offers no more functionality than the mobile web experience
lacking app. nothing up to date. not a server issue as iOS version works fine.
Want dark amoled theme and more improved settings. Then will be 5 stars. Also need security layer - app lock with fingerprint

I'd give it more if I can take a picture and add it to the page I'm editing from the mobile device.
Even when clicking remember me, am forced to reauthenticate every single time opening the app.
Can view the content in web browser, but not in the app.

Still doesn't support SSL VPN. Like most things Atlassian, it ultimately leaves you disappointed.
When I first downloaded this app it worked great. Then, all of a sudden, when I clicked on a pdf link I would get an error that I am unable to open it. I've uninstalled several times, confirmed settings, and a peer did the same, but they have no issue. I'm using a Samsung Note 9, while he uses a Pixel.
