Average type interface. Needs to be brought into the future. Need more available features on landing page. Needs tools such as credit score monthly. Needs to show more options when addressing options. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. Come on let's get to the future.
The app is actually way better than their website, which is absolutely terrible. They supposedly "updated" the website but it has been a huge step backwards. The app has issues properly storing the fingerprint authentication, which doesn't work. That keeps it from being 4 or better stars.
I'm so done with this app and this bank. I've been using CFCU since before I was born and it's inability to keep up with technology is driving me away to other banks. Every single time I try to login to this app I have to call customer service for one reason or another because the mobile app won't let me log in. I've had to change my password repeatedly and it seems arbitrary which passwords "meet their requirements".
Tried it on and off for a year. Every single time I logged in it shows a reset password message even though I can log into the website fine. Reset doesn't work. Calling CFCU and everything is fine on their end. Broken app, beware
A fairly recent capability is the ability to deposit checks virtually. I have trouble walking and getting around so this function is invaluable for me. I've been with Congressional Federal Credit Union for years and I have always found the people working there very professional, helpful and a pleasure to work with.
Very easy to use and very secure. I use fingerprint sign in and it works great. Well laid out going from one area of app to another. Love the deposit via mobile.
Doesn't have an option to view password so we can see what we type. Doesn't have an option to download bank statements. When changing password I had to reinstall app three times.
EVERY time I try to login it gets logged out on first try. I know for a fact I'm not typing my password wrong. It takes three attempts to get locked out and I'm locked out every time I try and get in. Then I have to contact the bank and it takes a while for that to process.
It has improved slightly, but not being able to connect with mint, the outdated interface and inaccessibility make it mediocre.
I want the ability to perform transfers between ALL of my accounts back. And get rid of the additional security code to access the App.
Can't use biometric options. Can't set up fingerprint option, warning window opens and you can't get past that. Iris option doesn't work half the time.
I use this app infrequently but when I need it, it locks me out. It does not recognize my password and I have to wait until next business hours to call Customer service to unlock my mobile access.
The app is okay. Not nearly as nice as the new website. It actually crashed on me this week and took reinstalling it to be able to log in.
It's a good tool for quick viewing. Wish it had non-linked account transfers available
it would be a much better app if you could via payments and due dates for various products rather than just balances so that you dont have to log on the website in order to get that info
Certain transfer functionalities are not present in the app that are available online. Layout requires more digging for information than the desktop site.
This app has not worked after a month of trying to get the people at CFCU to help me with it. Piece of junk! They need to do something about this immediately!
Not the best looking but very functional. Semi difficult to set up but does the job
I enjoy this app and have been a long time member... The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because they are somewhat slow to embrace innovation and technology.
app doesn't work and calls to CFCU are useless. the problem hasn't been fixed and promised follow up didn't occur
Really easy app. No issues with crashing or accessing data.
Update: much better now. While the views are basic, it actually works which is nice. Keep it up!
App locks claiming account token invalid and account is locked when it is not. Not resetting my password because an app has failed.
After one year, mobile app requires you to change passwords but online banking doesnt which is stupid and unneccessary when using two-factor authentication.
Great app and easy to use. Secure with tumb ID scan in.
Somewhat ok app. Billpay history needs to be viewable. Wont load on either android or iphone.

I love the app! However, Samsung/Android did a software update last night and now I cannot use my finger print or facial recognition to sign into my account. My biometrics are on my phone, but when I try to turn on the biometrics settings in the app, the iris scanner just keeps scanning and doesn't do anything, and the finger print setting gives an error mag "Service is temporary unavailable. Please reboot your device and try again." Please fix this to be compatible with the new software update!
