Permissions
The app does not read or collect any personal data or any other data. Linking to the Google account is only necessary for in-app purchases. This is the official and Google-specified way for in-app purchases. This means that all personal data remain with the payment provider and need not be transferred to the app provider.
• In-app purchases: In-app purchases use Google's payment service provider. Only started by user action and carried out with user approval.
• Photos/Media/Files: For adding existing images to projects, creating PDF exports of data and backing up your data.
• Storage: For saving knitting charts, knitting patterns, pictures and backups.
• Camera: For taking pictures of your knitting works.
• control vibration: For feedback when drawing the knitting charts.
• prevent device from sleeping: The sleep state is temporarily deactivated when saving and loading the data.
• receive data from Internet and view network connections: To save backups to Google Drive.
• Broadcast data messages to apps: In the near future, projects can be synchronized between different devices and can be transmitted electronically.
Crash reports
The app offers the possibility to send automatic error reports. No personal data is transmitted, only the call sequence of functions that led to the error. This option requires the express consent of the user and can be changed at any time in the settings.

i think for creating patterns this app is great. I've had some issues and bugs pop up but gave gotten swift replies and fixes.
So far I really like this app, but can only use it on my android mobile phone. Can you plz make a version that is optimized for android tablets? I'd love to be able to use this app on my android tablet too. Plz & Thx :)
Even before making a chart, I noticed there is a very limited number of chart symbols. This is not a good fit for me at all!
Needs gauge option!!
Difficult to get symbols in the right place even on tablet. Beware of choosing multiple symbols. They're useful when you need them, but it takes a while to get used to deselecting when you switch to a different symbol. Overall, good app
I don't know what the problem is. I find the app to be wonderful! You can create entire patterns! I don't think it's hard to figure out either. You can save as a PDF too. I then open my pattern in my knit companion app and knit away!!! Love it. And I like that the ads can be removed forever! Android users are neglected in the knitting app circuit. I'm glad the developers here took the time for us. Thank you!
This is a great app for charting. Maybe the lower ratings are because the initial learning curve is steep. Once you get the hang of it, it is GREAT app. Creating a chart is sooooo FAST. I have recommended it to Knitting Pattern Designer Andrea Maurie...
I like it. I'd like to be able to add text notes to the charts, have charts with multiple parts (ie beginning stitch chart, repeat stitch chart, end stitch chart), and to edit rows and columns after begining a chart.
Was not even able to use it. The app will not work until you give access to your google account with all possible permissions. It says that the app will not use personal data, yet requests access without giving you any choice. Uninstalled
Forced to link to my google profile and cant get around giving them my user information... Abosultly not going to happen. Uninstalled
Cant use
Initially I thought this app was amazing, but I struggled to design my own cables. Saving is an issue. Sometimes it only takes a few seconds, last night I added a short section of 7 rows over 39stitches and it's taken since 5pm last night (now 8am) to save. I have struggled on occasion to get to grips with how to save sections for repeated use. Sometimes hard to select the bit I want, and it won't insert. BUT there is no other app like it and overall it does a Good job!
