User unfriendly! Trying to connect my phone. When I try to Bluetooth it, my phone says it needs the app. I tried hooking it up with aux cord, my music played, but I still can't hook it up wirelessly. The app gives no instructions, just tells me that my speaker is not connected but no option to hook it up. Got my tablet to hook up with Bluetooth, no app!
If I could give it a zero I would. I have an S21 Ultra and this app had me wipe my phone delete other apps and restart it over and over again. This app is extremely bugging and ineffective. My bluetooth speaker is a 600 dollar paper weight simply because the app does not work effectively.
Bullfrog BF400. 0-5 5 being best. With App: Volume: 1 Bass: 1 Treble: 2 Clarity: 2 Controls: 0 Without app: Volume: 4 Bass: 3 Treble: 2 Clarity: 4 Controls: 4 Could not control my speaker with my phone at all while using the app. I listened to 3 different genres and got the same results. I love the speaker but the App needs a lot of work.
To pair your phone to the Nissan Tailgate Audio Kicker. Step one, press the little circular button that says 'PAIR' until the blue light is lit in BT mode. Step 2, then with your thumbnail, hold down the PAIR button until the blue BT light starts to blink. Now go to Bluetooth on your phone and start a scan to search for a Bluetooth device. ONLY pair to 'NISSAN TG AUDIO'. Then you will be able to go on YouTube and stream any song you want! You don't need the app!
For connecting to one speaker, don't use the app. On the speaker itself, press the little button on the right until the blue light flashes (pairing mode). On your phone, in the bluetooth section, DO NOT select "LE_BF200 KICKER", this gives you a message to use an app. Wait a few seconds for "BF200 KICKER" to appear, select this and you will connect like you would any other "normal" bluetooth device. My guess is this app is only useful to "connect" two speakers together for simultaneous use. 🤔
The app turned my speaker into a brick. It USED to connect just fine, but now my phone says I need to app if I try to connect through Bluetooth. But the app doesn't play music, so I can connect, change all the settings, yes, but not use the speaker to play anything.
App keeps disconnecting every time I toggle between it and whatever music app I'm using and won't reconnect without restarting the app. Was going to buy a second Bf400 and link them but not now...pity because it really does sound pretty good when it works right.
Okay. So I had to speak to a technician to figure this speaker out but it does stream audio via Bluetooth ofc it does. You have to hard connect first pairing your phone WITHOUT the app downloaded. I might not even use the app. But trust me it works. And sounds good.
Speaker doesn't actually play music through bluetooth. It will connect to your phone, but you can't stream music from your phone to the speaker. Kicker leads you to believe that this is possible. Intentionally misleading.
Just bought a speaker and can't even use it because of this stupid app and telling me it needs the app to work because it won't just connect to Bluetooth.
Since I installed this app, I haven't been able to successfully connect my gadget with my phone. Before I installed this app, the connection was without sweat.
Today in 2019 Just like the Kicker Amphitheater app *Kickstart* that they never fixed this is just as bad and they will probably never fix it. Edit 4/24/2022 still not fixed, told ya so.
Doesn't seem to work... at all. Bluetooth doesn't seem to work. Direct aux connection needed to work.
Pathetic! How does a Bluetooth speaker NOT PLAY MUSIC OVER THROUGH BLUETOOTH?! I can't use an audio cord because my phone doesn't have an input jack for a cord!
This use to work fine .... but know it want connect you can't control volume bass treble settings nothing ....app is not worth time involved i will be deleting this app
It never opens with the speaker that I have. Don't know why and can't change it.
Connects to the BT speaker "some" of the time. More infrequent than frequent.
Waste of time constantly trying to get it paired or working. Shuts off for no reason. Hate it.
Installed on two different devices, it will connect, turn on/off, but not play music...
this app is Garbage! as soon as it connects it closes this app and makes this completely useless. Waste of time.

This app turned a great system into a nearly worthless radio. Before it would immediately connect via Bluetooth and work flawless. Now this app is required to use it. Good luck getting it to work. It's constantly failing, shutting down, won't stream Amazon music, and I've only had it work once since the app. You can't use your normal functions anymore either. You have to open the worthless app to change anything. I'm truly disappointed how they screwed up a good thing.
