Connect 4: 4 in a Row

The game looks good and plays correctly, but the AI leaves a lot to be desired. Playing multiplayer is an option but that's not that much better. If I were the developer I would make different skill levels for the ai maybe, and improve matchmaking based on skill, as at the moment there seems to be quite a range, while the ai is quite bad.

Edit (10/19/19): Possibly my favorite app. There are some features that I think would improve the experience of online play, though. Some form of ranking system would be nice--it can be difficult to connect (no pun intended) with skilled players. Being able to communicate with people outside of a handful of short phrases would also be cool . . . a chat box, perhaps? Outside of that, the option to change one's username/icon would be a decent add-on.

I have a theory that online is full of bots, they make the same silly plays over and over again... There are definitely a few great players on occasion but overall it's disappointing to get paired with the horrible (as I surmise) AI. The AI is also horrible in single player mode... There is much better AI in competing apps. No ranked, no leaderboard, please add these. Looks nice though, like the wooden background.

Too many ads; there are commercial breaks every three games, and pop up where the ex-out button is too small. Also, obligate thirty second view ads are ridiculous, because I just leave the app and return again. Loading time is just seven seconds. Stupid.

Good game. Nice experience. Online is fairly decent. Overall, it's good. There's needs to be an option to change the difficulty of the AI or make it adaptive where it builds on previous games.

I cant get it to work properly or store the friends that I've played games with. Every time you leave out of the game you have to reshare your code. The friends options is grayed, and no instructions on how to troubleshoot.. Could've been a great game.

after winning from the classic 3 horizontal trap on online mode 3 times in a row, and having near identical placements from this person for 2 of those times, and every opponent turn is always around the same time, i have concluded that there are bots in the online mode and not actual people.

Sure, it lets you play, but it's incredibly easy and the computer lets you win every time with no multiplayer option either. Awful app. The only good thing i can say is it's not broken, hence the two stars.

The AI is awful, and most of the online player base is too easy to beat. They need to make a ranking system so you actually face people around your own skill level.

Ok, but really annoying that after finishing game, you don't have a chance to properly look at your screen (how you lost or won) and press a button when you want next game to start.

The music and game is soothing but the AI is entirely too easy to beat and there are no levels that increase difficulty. So you get bored with it quickly.

Its a good game. However they need to include the following 1. Option to put custom text during playing. 2. Option to have voice call during gameplay When these two are done.. it will make this game more intresting

Docked a star for deleting my review, had been 3 stars...PLEASE turn off haptic feedback or give me the option to do it myself. I have looked everywhere in the settings and have not found anything yet to turn it off myself. I do not appreciate my phone vibrating at me when Im trying to play a game. And I REALLY dislike not being given the option to turn it off. I enjoy playing this game and I really dont want to delete it because of something that is easy to fix.

It is decent, but the menu system is frustrating. For example, you have to forfeit a game when you wantbto change the game type.

great version of the classic, even looks like the real deal, just one suggestion if you could choose which colour you want to be, but apart from that good game.

I like the game good pass time but the ads get annoying especially when I'm promised a prize and dont get it. or when it locks my screen and forces me to watch the ad and I have to close the app to get past the ad.

Cute, but there's no way to change the difficulty level of the AI, nor a way to undo a move in any mode if you accidentally hit the wrong thing.

This game is really cool and awesome and cool. Heads off the creater of the game . Probably the most fun game ever. Connet four is tye best game I ever played. All of the buttons at the bottom ask if you want to leave the game. No option to switch from AI. Links to share with a friend don't work. I enjoyed this game. Fix it, so it works, and I'll be back.

Game works well and is smooth . I come only for online play. I wish there was a ranking system. This way better players can be paired with better players and new students the same.

Would be great if you could have an online league feature but I would imagine that is not practical. AI needs to be improved though

The A.I. is way too easy to beat. I can literally stack straight up and it doesn't even stop me sometimes. Only rating 3 for pass and play ability.

Fun game, better to play online with other people as Al is super easy to beat. However, Al is prefect for my 8 year old! Ads aren't that bad either.

I give it 4 stars, its a amazing app. I always play with my freinds. The only problem is, is that i always get Al and it anoys me. Please make a update. Also can you make a. update for anyone to do a custome message (make a message by yourself) so when pepole say hi you could also say hi, its much easier. Other then that its a great app. 😀

The AI is kinda stupid. I won going in a line from left to right each time. they must improve the AI. but everything else about this app is fine.

I absolutely love it! In my free time I always play this cool game since i love connect four. You get to play online and with the computer and locally on this free app.
