Please note that this app works in tandem with the AstralPool Internet Gateway module. This module MUST be installed in your pool system for this app to function. The module can be obtained from your pool installer or local AstralPool representative.
The AstralPool Internet Gateway module acts as a bridge between your pool system and the internet. As such, it will require access to your home internet connection. The AstralPool Internet Gateway can use either a wireless (Wi-Fi) or wired (Ethernet) connection.

i would like to see the time schedules appear in the app for each feature and the ability to change them remotely. i live in Beijing as well as Brighton East and if i get a call from the neighbour indicating her nursing roster has changed then i need to change the timings FROM BEIJING nor just turn off the filter etc. The pool equip is next to their bedroom window.
This app is poor, and much of this is due to limitations in the underlying platform. The Viron Connect does not integrate to Viron Heat Pumps, and the platform gives you very little control over the pool equipment. If you have a suitable top of the line chlorinator you can see the ORP set point but not the level. You can see the pH but not the set point. Don't even bother trying to change anything, there's just no way to set any configuration. And don't get me started on the weather forecast...
Has not been updated for 2 years. Weather on home page needs to use Australian not UK service .. currently is never correct for Melbourne. Chemistry needs to be able to activate manual dosing of acid and confirmation of Auto and AI modes for the Viron eQuilibrium Chlorinator with Bluetooth Control. Schedules management would also be very useful for switching between summer and winter.
Useless app and terrible experience. Have been persisting for over a year hoping it would be updated and fixed but no. Currently using the app on a Samsung S20 running latest Android. App refuses to let me login ("incorrect user name/password" yet login on iPhone or the website using same details works). To think we paid ~$200 for the wifi module on our heat pump for this garbage experience.
It works, could have home Automation integration (Google/Alexa) Also, the ability to add names to extra valves for pool/spa would be nice! (Have my solar on the two extra valves, Suction and Return!) Fault 0 with solar differential temp system, need fixing!
This pool automated controller is NOT to industry standard. Too basic. Needs to be upgraded and improved.
Can now no longer use app since updating android as it's not supported on Android 10. No updates of the app since 2017 is pretty poor form.
So slow and poor user experience. Needs to be upgraded.
The worst app ever. The worst system ever $10,000 wasted. The feedback on a dial up system is better.

How can I set the corrwct location for the weather reports? Mine is set to Berwick in the USA not Victoria, Australia, thanks.

This app does alow me to control my pool (sort of) but is terrible. There is no ability to customize anything and the home screen cant be used to put anything useful, it only contains weather. It doesn't even summarise what going on with the pool. Whoever's designed this consulted with 0 pool owners. Its 2019 and I feel like I'm stuck 10years in the past using this. For the amount this cost its awful. I can do more with a raspberry pie and some relays. Why are you living so far in the past?
