This is a HUGE improvement from the website on a phone! But, there still is one very annoying feature. The screen times out WAY too fast or if you change screens and then you lose what you wrote. I'm SERIOUSLY tired of that from the other version. PLEASE set up something to either automatically send it to drafts, like regular email, or allow us to change screens and come back. I just answered a phone call and lost EVERYTHING I wrote. It's an APP for a SMARTPHONE. It's designed to multitask!!

Not user friendly at all. This app should really be as simple as the securus app/ site. It gives you the run around, doesn't list all the facilities, and pretty much forces you to call the GTL line to add funds which takes 3 minutes because they want to repeat changes that I've already agreed to. If I have agreed to this once, I shouldn't have to agree with every call. Back to site, there should be a link to simply put in inmates name/ number then add funds! YES, THAT SIMPLE IS HOW WE WANT IT!

This app has been hit and miss since I downloaded it about 2 years ago. Problems vary from login issues to message issues. The most recent one is now I can't send any videos. Doesn't matter if it's 15 sec or less. It takes forever when you try to send it, and it always says it can't load file, try sending a smaller file. Which doesn't make any difference cuz it still doesn't send it and says the same thing when you try a smaller one.

Oh my...when I first downloaded it was great, now about 6 months in its horrible. Can't log in, changed my password, reinstalled several times. No response from support...very irritated. Still have 3 years to deal with this junk!! Weeks later n still the same issues, worked sort of for a minute now again im not able to login on app or online. Pops error report that disappeared before I can read it! Very very frustrating!!

Really not very good at providing clear instructions to use the app based on state and facility within that state. Data was entered, then "disappeared" Took hours for the confirmation email to come through. Customer service agent had a heavy accent and had to be asked to repeat information. App on Android and PC website don't show the same information consistently either. It was agonizingly slow and inefficient, when folks are already distressed.

I have no problems with this app except for the fact that this is the third time I'm having the same issue. The app isn't letting me send photos. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and restarted my phone. That didn't work. I have called customer service twice and they say they can't fix the issue after they have fixed the issue twice before. I don't know what else to do? I just want to send photos to my LO!! 😡

Great app , allows me to help my sister out in her unfortunate place she is .. also allows me to pretty much email her so I don't have to wait for mail for multiple weeks to come, not expensive at all. This is a great app to have for loved ones that are somewhere they shouldn't be.... Also allows you to put money on for them which is also great.

It was great when I downloaded it 2yrs ago. Now starting last month to this day I can't send any videos! It keeps saying to make the video smaller. I made it 2 secs Long AND IT STILL WONT SEND! you guys honestly need to fix this!!!!!!!!!!! It's now April 8th and it stated hadn't been fixed!!!!!

Ive never really had any issues and have used this app for several years. I do wish there was a way to know which messages have been or not. Other than that, ive had no complaints...until now. I just installed the new update to the app and now when i open any of my Sent messages, it dont show what i wrote, just a blank page. Fix please???

Update: this app is supposed to allow us to add $$ to inmate phone for them to reach us. I had an issue 3 days ago and sent all documents the person on the phone told me to send to have my account/number unlocked after HE locked it because I didn't remember the last time I added funds, how much I added, and how many calls I've received. I had my name, address, phone# and where the few calls were coming from. Sorry but reaching out to Cust service via phone AND EMAIL is terrible communication!

Thank you to the Creator and Developers for this App. It makes life a little easier when dealing with Corrections Facilities. No fee helps alot!! My only complaint is... If the Advance Pay Service for $45 a month is purchased we should not have to Add funds to the account. Also should be able to get video visitation approval within the APP. All in all design and functionality of the APP is Great. My complaint is more in the contract between The Corrections Facilities and the Company.

I downloaded the app to speed the process of adding funds and requesting calls via the Request2Call feature. Now the request to call isn't working at all, I can't get any logical answers about that & adding funds is tedious because if I switch apps mid transaction then hop right back I have to start all over again from the top.

The app no longer accepts payments since the last update. - FIXED. Very inconvenient and you have no clue if this company is stealing your money based on the error. - They're definitely still stealing. UPDATE: 26 April 2022 STILL stealing money EVEN with a pending lawsuit smh. They've already removed access to see how much each call cost.

for the money we pay, we can't get an app that actually works! I can't read any of my messages, I can't send any, I get kicked out all the time and overall is just a bad experience I wish I didn't have to deal with this like there was another one but here I am, And if I could it lower I would

I've been using this app for a few years now never had a y problems til last week trying to add money to my phone account and til today I still can't add money to it. I've contacted them and get no where . I wish there was some other app that I could use

DO NOT USE THIS SITE!! WARNING!VERY UNHAPPY with their services. This corporation is a SCAM. Do not use it. Secerus is the way to go! They took $45.99 without permission or authorization and REFUSE to refund it. They immediately asked for my credit card info before I even got to the site so I was unaware that they even take the fee. But it was to late because I already put my card info in. I am really trying to spread awareness of how global tel net scams you. Impossible to get ahold of them.

Great,. Sometimes the video visit goes out,. Not on my side, at the prison,. Need a better WiFi or better internet!!!! Been dealing with this stuff for years. Sad with the money it makes u can do better for the inmates that's for sure

The amount they take out after you apply your payments for phone calls is a little much I think. I'll put $20.00 on my phone but only get $15.00 of phone time which isn't that much ive spent almost 400.00 on phone time alone. I dont think money should be takin out of what you put on.

Can't message even though they have 10 credits. Continues to take me back to add inmate prompt. Added 50 times, have called emailed customer support get standing email back, thanking me for getting in touch with them. Also when placing inmates name in search sometimes I get the inmates name to appear and sometimes they say inmate doesn't exist.

Price to add money greatly increased using the app. On the website it still costs .99 but the app now charges 5.95. I ditched the app. It's to expensive to pay for an app and add money too. The app became a money rip off taking advantage of people. I'm very disappointed in GTL app now. My son still hasn't gotten his card sent through GTL.

Customer service is always nice qnd helpful when I need to transfer money from an old number to new and help with refunds. App is easy and convenient to use . Just wish I didn't spend nearly half my check on calls

I had this 3 years ago and it worked fine that first year, then suddenly it crashed. It's been 2 years and I still can't get it to work. Now if I tap the app, onscreen is the message: Unfortunately Connect Network GTL has stopped. I can't get the app to open. I tried clearing its data and cache, but it has no improvement.The staff has tried to help me, but still did no good. It should be simple to operate!!!

Unreliable app. Tried multiple times to add funds and received an error message saying something to the effect of "we don't know if your payment was processed or not. If it was you will get an email confirmation". Also had problems updating payment methods in the first place, would not accept new card and app just reloads the same screen. No error message or popup to tell you what the problem is. I had to close out of the app and start over to get it to work. This app is just as bad as their website, which is also unreliable. All the money you guys make from the prison industrial complex you should have state of the art websites and apps.

Worst app. I'm a busy mom, so I'm used to doing things on my phone and walk away for a while. If I let the screen time out mid message, your message will be gone, you have to save as a draft and it takes forever to save or go back to the message. App is constantly shutting down, it's very slow, and it doesn't let me send messages while inmate isn't in detention (I message a weekender) also they don't get the message till almost a week later. I would give a 0 star if I could and find another app.

I use the app to send money and messages. It would be great if there was a feature that automatically saved messages to draft if you switch out of the app. I've had an app pop up or a phone call and it takes me off GTL. I go back and I have to re enter my pin and my message is gone. So frustrating! Could be 5 stars for me. Please add an auto save feature! For sending money, the rates are comparable to other apps and the funds get there quickly.

Not an optimal experience. My Request2Call button NEVER works, not once. I can't make a payment for credits without an issue. If you tap the wrong button and you end up in a different screen or your cell times out, you lose everything you wrote. You pay to send pictures but it chops the picture down by 1/3. The inmates can't get messages out. We're paying for a service, it'd be super if it worked properly... I *do* like that I can send a short video though.

My messages say they sent successfully, but they do not send, do not show up in my sent folder, and my credits are not deducted. I would very much like to keep in touch this way, especially since I have already paid for the credits. I have called customer service twice and sent an email. They finally opened a ticket today. hoping my issue gets resolved! Using the app to put time on the phone is a breeze. I haven't used it for the trust fund yet.
