If you are having trouble hearing with the settings. Make note of the details to the issue, ask your audiologist if the settings can be adjusted. I have returned to my audiologist a few times now my hearing aids are fine tuned on every setting. One tip I have used: label the settings to where they work best for you. ☆ Example; your favorite restaurant, Car\Truck, office, movie theater, outside, etc. ☆ I found one setting that iliminates wind noise I labeled it truck. Hope this helps others.

this is a very strange app. Its purpose seems to be to give you an option between two different sound profiles which are not explained, and to give you a master bass and treble sound control. I guess that could be helpful to someone. but I was looking for was the ability to turn off the Bluetooth program in the hearing aids in an airplane mode since the Bluetooth always on feature is making my brain buzz. I know that sounds weird but there is no other way to describe the sensation.

After downloading app to my new phone, battery status function was missing. A reviewer noted that he went to where he purchased hearing aid and audiologist set up app with "barcode". I did that and the battery function was restored. So happy because it is a function I use often. Audiologist gave me copy of "barcode" to keep at home. Problem solved.

I really don't like the upgraded version, doesn't have the directional portion in the app and the older version is more user friendly. The battery status part is of no use for people like me with hearing impairment, we can't hear the beeping so it's of no use for us. I'd prefer to have the battery power with a visial percentage range instead of the beeping which a lot out us can't hear.

The app works very well as far as adjusting the hearing aids. Sure makes a good improvement to my hearing. Only thing that would be really nice is if the microphone pattern setting would stay set until manually changed. That would be a great improvement as to the app's versatillity. All in all, the app works very well, thanks! Jim

I couldn't decide between a 2 or 3 star rating. It would get a higher rating, but the app won't function if your phone is connected to another bluetooth device (car, pandora, ear piece, etc). Sorry, but for the price of these devices, they are about 10 years behind with the tech. Please fix to get a higher rating.

This is my first set of hearing aids; the app has been installed & uninstalled 4 times in the five days since i picked up the aids. Quite frankly -- it does not work well. For the cost of the Rexton devices, I expected a much more dependable app. And it took me a half-day to determine why my car Bluetooth would not work-- if this remote is left on, then any other Bluetooth device is denied access to my phone. Distracted driving fines are high in Canada. So no remote when driving.

Very good features compared to competition, and streets ahead of aids that require a streamer. For Rexton aids the rapid wax accumulation in microphone and vents of ear buds due to very small apertures, is a fault. Re the app my only uncertainty relates to Bluetooth -- does Connexx require activation to use all features eg. when changing microphone direction - no feedback for this setting. Very pleased, thanks.

I have this app to assist my 92 year old mother to keep her hearing! It is fairly intuitive, but older non technical savvy people will be confused by the controls. The mute button is confusing. It looks like it is on, when it isn't. I really like the battery charge tester! Great idea!

These are my first hearing aids. Having the app gives me such great flexibility - normal setting allows me to hear conversations from the back seat of the car; in a loud restaurant, I can focus on the people at my table. Plus, being able to adjust and control from my phone makes my fabulous hearing aids cool!!!

Very, disappointed. The only functions that seems to do anything is the TV setting which only increases the volume & minimal change on 'loop'. Very little in the form of instructions on paper, and what is available is impossible for the average person to understand at all. Please advise if any more information is available as I would be delighted to receive a hard copy or something that I can print and share with my audiologist from whom l purchased my hearing aids & this app. Michael Dean

I use this app to work with my Costco aids. It works to control the volume, but that's it. I'm not happy with these hearing aids, been back to Costco several times and I can now hear everything u don't want to hear and I can't hear people standing next to me.

Problems with the app not working while device is connected to other Bluetooth devices. Programs may need to be changed or adjusted while using Bluetooth headsets. This company says it's a Bluetooth technology limitation, if so, it's an old technology. Today's Bluetooth technology allows paring of multiple devices!! Unfortunately it is the only app available for these devices sold by Costco. Hearing devices are Rexton Legato iX.

Simply said it does not work! I paid $2500 for new Rexton In the ear hearings. The hearing aids work great however this app does absolutely nothing. I have reinstalled this twice and gone through the setup many times trying my best to get it to work. I have spoken several times to the hearing aid dealer and they are at a loss as well. I have a T-Mobile branded LG V30 with the latest android update. I on ocassion can get a recognition beep but no functions work.

Volume is too weak. Very little noticeable difference in the settings for various situations. My other app sound and quality were far superior. Option for directional sound reception. I have an android phone. Need better programming for these. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! Purchased at COSTCO. NOT their fault.

Been at least 2.5 years since any improvements. I mean it's Costco, either improve these hearing aids and/or the app or get a new hearing aid vendor and allow a full trade-in allowance. I'm thinking it's time to do so 'cause I'm not that happy with these aids or excited about anything that's been done so far.

The app does not indicate battery level. You dont know the batteries are about to die unless you happen to be wearing your aids. it would also be good if the app would allow bluetooth connection to home audio system for listening to music and watching tv.

I like the app. the one problem that I have is the inability to control each side individually. the other problem I have is the inability to activate the directional Mike. i had this ability with my last pair of hearing aids and it was very helpful.

Used to work fine in my Signature 8's. Then Costco upgraded the hearing aids with the latest firmware and the Smart Remote ap no longer works. Tried everything I could think of, including installed older versions of the software... Nada.... I think Connexx needs to look into what "broke" with the latest firmware of the Signature 8 hearing aids.

I use this app daily, for almost a full year, so of course i can think of things i would like improved. The android phone version is not as good as the iphone version, still, it does offer a good adaptibility, and all of the choices do work, so for me it gets 4 stars.

I do best when using the QR Code. I like being able to check the battery strength. I leave it on automatic. Never sure that the directional setting locks in and stays.

Works well with my hearing aids from Specsavers on this Android LG phone. The first app they suggested for me would only work properly with Apple hardware, so I am very glad this app exists to give me much more control of my expensive hearing aids. I can even set them for surround sound etc when watching the tv etc with multiple speaker setups.

Slightly above average compared to other hearing aid applications. Over time the app is getting less difficult. But at times still get a message volume is too low for app to work even though the volume is on high...
