Needs permissions to make phone calls (!!!) and camera (!). Forces me to manually enter 8-digit long numbers every time I want to update my account details, and again (also 8 digits) when I want to access my documents. Every. Single. Time. N26 does it much better: push notifications, and no secret phrase to enter.
I lost my phone and got a new one. Now I can't activate the Secure Plus app because I have no way to login into my account to register the new phone for using the Secure Plus app. That is a joke!!! Also you can't copy the generated pin, so you are forced to write it down the 8 digit code each time.
Crashes on Android 9, it eventually worked in an old phone. I like Consors but this is unusable. Moving to Comdirect now, the App works there! Update: Works now, after a few months waiting 🐌
Login Process ridiculous. I mean yes we have a particularly stupid EU rule ... But there are ways to do it and ways not to do it - so I need now 1 minute to log in to my account every single time ... That's really not user friendly. Well customer service is great but this will in the end lead me to change my main account to another bank.
The app constantly crashes, especially when opening it from the regular consorsbank app. Instead of being able to just confirm the login, I have to remember the tan and enter it in the other app
It is a genious app. Exactly when you need it to log in you have to update it first. Another example how technology helps us to make our daily life less easier.
Requies permissions to make phone calls and record videos. If those are denied, the app does not work. Uninstalled, will probably force me to change the bank unfortunately.
The app is doing is job. The required permissions for camera is obviously for the QR-Codes. 2FA is required by the EU bureaucrats. For money transactions that's okay but I really do not see any reason for normal login. It totally s.... but that's not the app's fault.
1) QR-Code setup fails as advertised, you need to type in two long numbers by hand instead of simply scanning a QR code 2) Extremely unfriendly user experience, as the pin disappears when changing apps, and you can NOT copy the pin. Makes mobile banking with any App other than the official Consorsbank app UNUSABLE
This app is a shipwreck. It is supposed to implement really little and does it in the worst possible way. Why does it not go through if I deny permissions to manage calls and camera since you can just generate a numeric code?? Alternative to this is a 25 euros code generator. This kind of app makes you want to change bank...
Worst app. Does not allow me to login after the first time. Now I have no way to login into bank account. The website forces me to use this app, no one is available in the customer care.. unbelievable.
App seems OK. App should allow to retract permissions after initialisation or do this even automatically. Unlike some other secure apps for other Banks one must manually retype the PIN if connecting from a PC instead of pushing a confirmation to the browser / banking app
Does not work anymore since version 1.3.7 ☹️ Opens and then closes immediately on my Zenfone2 with Android 7.1.2. The phone is *not* rooted. Couldn't find any older working versions of the app.
Always crashes . Renders my phone unusable until it runs out of battery and I can reboot. Really bad app, but was forced to use it
When generating a PIN to login to the web site, the App does not appear to use Face-id on my pixel-4. Therefore I have to type in my (long) SecurePlus PIN on the pixel-4 to proceed. On previous pixel models with fingerprint sensor the App was much more convenient. Note that Google pay uses Face-id.
Why is there no option to copy the generated pin? And why does the pin disappear when I change the app? I can't remember the whole pin while I'm trying to log in using the phones browser! Unusable like this!
Very unreliable transfer of the generated TAN to the Condors Online Banking app on Android. Works only every 2nd or 3rd time. Poorly implemented
One time it worked. 3 months later no login possible, even after update. I recommend Austrian banks. They offer SMS Tan still, avoiding any such problems.
Always crashes on first start, and requires multiple starts before it works. Thankfully we're leaving consors for another bank so we won't have to use this much longer.
Had a working, secure! TAN-Generator for years, main reason to use Consorsbank because there is no awful app. Now? Awful app on most insecure device, new TAN-Generator costs money. What a joke and what a way to scare loyal customers off.
Worst App ever. Who can remember 8 digit codes?! No copy & paste allowed and the code disappears when switching between Apps.
What a desaster this last update! Login with touch id doesn't work anymore. Perfectly secure online banking app: no login - no problem.
Copy and paste would be a thing, it's really crappy to use without on the phone. Especially when the code now disappears when changing the app to write the code down.
I haven't been able to log on for weeks. The app - web app connection is broken and you cant get anyone on the phone to help you fix it.
Worst App I've ever used. Doesn't tell you that you have to store a PIN somewhere generated in the process. Then you're lost!
Works if you have at least a basic understanding of technology. Don't like the need for phone permission.
Changelog for 1.6.0 says "kleinere Optimierungen" - app doubles in size and starts crashing every time. Reinstalling locked me out - had to get a new activation code and downgrade the app to 1.5.4. using doubious sources and disable auto update in play store in order to finally gain access to my money again.
