It is impossible to highlight using this app. If you select a word it usually puts the blue spacers three paragraphs up. I am also unable to search without the app closing due to an "unexpected error". I have to reinstall the app about once a month in order for it to run smoothly (highlighting is still an issue). To advertise that you can complete your readings from any where is misleading when the app doesn't work the majority of the time. I have to use this app when I'm the go- so please fix!
I've used this app for a few years now and I don't understand how it still isn't what we need! We should be able to copy and paste from the book, from our notes! Notes should separate and not blend so poorly. Highlighting should not complete on it's own in error. It shouldn't freeze so easily! The zoom in and out should be more customizable for the readers. Please work on this!
I have just started using this and have to say... it is very frustrating. I can barely highlight what I need. Selecting where it starts or ends never works out properly. I have to close and reopen the app to try again. I even had to use my mobile phone to try to do the same thing and then reopen to see on my tablet. Please fix this. Online schooling is already irritating enough for me and with only a tablet or phone to use its even worse.
I personally use this app and I love the way you can highlight passages in the books or put sticky notes in the books. The program automatically saves all your notes in a notebook and it comes with 3 highlighters and 3 different color sticky notes so you can delegate colors for different things.This is a great app I love this app.
I enjoy having my textbook at my fingertips, but I'm unable to use the app to its full potential. The highlighting feature glitches frequently and prevents me from taking notes. As and on the go person, this will inhibit my ability to adequately study my course materials.
Horrible. First day of classes and I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application three times and Still can't read the first chapter. When I turn the page it is blank. It will not highlight or even select the words. It is not functional and I'm highly disappointed in it
Constantly messed up highlighting. Hold down to select the beginning of a sentence and it selects words several lines up. I've hacked away on pecking on the screen trying to get the right word to highlight. Becomes time consuming and frustrating to say the least.
needs improvement especially for the highlighting tool as it just starts to pick random spots in the text to highlight and it becomes difficult to highlight what you want and i have to keep going to the library opn8ng the book find the section on the table I contents just to be able to highlight anything most times and its extremely irritating. now the app keeps telling me failed to download book for 3 days and makes 0 progress
Horrible, This is my primary source for my textbooks and for I have a paper due on Monday and start a new class on Tuesday and for 3 days now it just says unable to connect to server. This is in addition to the inability to highlight or use half the functions properly. I am freaking out!
Highlighting is a joke. I click on one word and it selects a word from 2 paragraphs up. This app is useless and I spend more time trying to get it to work than I do reading the text. For a college level app, they need to fix it.
I'll give then three stars only because it works fine on my iPhone. But on my Android it steady signs me out. And now it says cannot connect to server. Which is frustrating because if I'm away from home without my laptop I can't access the course material to complete the work. Last update was in 2019. I think it's time for a new one.
the app was great for reading my books away from my desktop or chromebook. but since a new update for my android it crashes everytime I open it now. really frustrating since I work full time and on my days off I'm watching my toddler while my wife works. please fix it!!!
The app holds all the information of the ebook text wonderfully. However, on the android, the word search does not work properly and the highlighter is askew from the selected text and should be fixed.
While scrolling through it sometimes highlights information, and if you try to unhighlight, the other pages will not load. I have to reinstall the app each time which is time consuming.
Only works 10% of the time. It's a struggle to get anything done on this app from reading to highlighting, searching, and note taking.
app not working. every time I try and log in I get the tutorial page. when I click out if that it logs me out because my username and or password is wrong. obviously it's not since I see the tutorial. I need this fixed please, my first class starts next week.
My only big complaint would be highlighting half of the time I cannot properly highlight my notes for class and that is frustrating because I like to remember key things from my readings and I use my smart phone to do this on the go and when I cannot have my laptop with me...
Unable to get the app to stay open. It keeps stopping every time I open it. This is just recently with the new update. Jan 2019
Most of content in this book is easy to read and use except when trying to highlight words and items.
It doesn't highlight properly...I'm trying to highlight 1 section but it's doin it to another section 🤦🏽♀️...& When I scroll down while reading it has a blue spacer
App crashes on opening with Jan 29th update. I work in IT and have done the troubleshooting needed. Phone is OnePlus 6T. Sent feedback to help.
App crashes on opening. Makes my reading assignments difficult to accomplish. Phone is Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus.
FOR AN ONLINE UNIVERSITY, THIS APP NEEDS TO IMPROVE. THERE SHOULD BE AN OPTION TO HAVE AUDIO FOR THE BOOKS. THE HIGLIGHTING AND NOTES ARE HORRIBLE. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO SELECT A SPECIFIC SECTION IN THE BOOK. HORRIBLE!
Highlighting is never working properly. Making it hard to take notes on the go.
I love this app, but there are a few things that need to be improved...such as, there should be more colors for highlighting.
Its nice to have access on the go, however about halfway through the first chapter of my book the highlighting became a problem. Its not recognizing I want to highlight some of the time, and when it does it's up higher in the page than where I am trying to highlight. It would be nice to have this work properly to provide more efficiency since now I have to physically write the notes out.
