My biggest problem with the app is mobile deposit. It is an awful struggle to get a check deposited with the app. It typically takes several attempts because it complains about the photo quality. This morning I finally gave up after spending 15 minutes trying to deposit a check. I have taken the photos in a well lit room, endorsed it correctly according to the instructions on the app, and the check is aligned correctly in the viewfinder. Worst experience I've ever had with mobile deposit!

Very difficult to navigate. Can't even find where to make a payment on my car loan. Charges a service fee to make a payment using the app. Not user friendly at all! (Update) After using the app for a while and dealing with customer service over the phone I have gone from 2 stars to 1. If this company cares at all about keeping customers they need to fix their issues!

The redesigned app is a step forward from the previous product, but being unable to use your device's back button/function (rather than the navigation links at the top left of each page in the app) makes navigating less intuitive than it should be. Additionally, a dark theme would greatly improve the overall experience--especially given how much bright white real estate is present throughout the app, menu and all.

The side bar is very sensitive, any small touch triggers it to show up when you're in the middle of looking for other things. Also, the changes were not so subtle and you need to dig for how to transfer funds to pay off your credit card. There are way many more functions and clicks, but I was already used to the more simple ways of the other app.

Although not the most visually modern app in the store it's been very solid, reliable and I've yet to have any bugs or crashes. The only suggestion I would have is being able to change your address through the app, if you've ever had the privilege of trying to accomplish that from out of state then congratulations are in order. Other than that the wonderful people at CCU have always been extremely knowledgeable, super friendly and overall just totally on top of their game.

Well left previous review of 2 stars before, now revising since time has past. Now with all the updates and this big revamping, I give this app a 1. It is not user friendly. Does not give you real time balances. Bill pay is just a complete mess and has cost me more headaches and extra fees from payees. The message center only keeps messages for a certain time and then they are gone. If you have an attachment, I could never open it, it was always a blank page that says error.

It's fine. No problems on any of my Pixel devices. Features are v basic but I do most of my real banking activity on a full size computer so this is fine for checking recent transactions and depositing checks. I've actually never noticed a fingerprint option so I've never tried it, but because my password is saved with Google my phone just autofills in the app the same way it does in my browser. No security questions either. Funny we all seem as though we're using a different app.

Overall it's a good app. Others report problems with mobile check deposit, but I've used it on multiple phones without an issue. Ive also seen people saying it asks for security questions every time, which I haven't experienced at all.It's also good for checking my account balance, looking at recent transactions, and managing transfers. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars and not 5 is the broken fingerprint login feature!

App is very user friendly with lots of options for transfer, check loan bal etc. This is the first banking app which gives u a loan pay-off amt for a future date. All other bank apps ask u to call the bank. The only downside is that it doesnt have an option to transfer for a 'principal only pymt' thru the app. I had to call the bank everytime I had to do that. Also, the messaging service thru the app has been down for a long time even though texting/msgng is the only way to contact during COVID.

It needs to be simpler. Some people only want to make payments. And it's extremely difficult to figure out what to do and where to go. The app is extremely "busy". I get it's trying to be an all-in-one app. But it's confusing and complicated for no reason. Auto loan/loan/credit should be separate from the banking side. All other apps I've had just are a simple "here is the loan you have with us" "connect your bank to make payments" that's it.

Features are great, but navigation is abysmal. Web wrappers and iOS ports of apps need to have additional work performed so that they work with the Android back button, because this broken navigation model used within the app is just awful. The features of the app are great, but are just very difficult to access due to the aforementioned navigation problems.

My experience with this credit union has been horrible so far. I refinanced my car through credit karma and ended up with them due to the low rate. However since then trying to get payments set up or to contact anyone for help has been a complete pain. The app is also terrible in comparison to any other credit union or bank app I've used in the past. Now I wake up to realize they drafted my payment twice for this month. I regret refinancing with them and will never recommend them to anyone.

Usually love it, but they've been having issues with finger print log in. Specifically with Android and especially if u upgrade ur phone. I upgraded my phone and thats when it stopped working. I had to go thru a lot bcuz I forgot username and they don't have "forgot username" and couldn't just give em my email or phone #. Had to go to the bank to get my username then reset everything. That's on me for not having it written down but still. If not for that, I woulda given 5 stars.

it's not a bad app! I enjoy it. does what I need it to do. BUT I'm only giving 3 stars till this gets corrected. I'm all for the fingerprint. I think it's a great idea for quick access to the account. BUT WHY... when you use your fingerprint the next screen you have to answer security questions?? please explain. ALSO I think a 4 didget pin code would be great as well!!! once fixed I will change my review to 5 STARS And better feedback.

Bill pay on this new app is horrible. Takes forever to 'understand' what you are looking at. Everything is text based which means you have to read every line and correlate it with every other line as to when it's due, was it paid, what is not etc. The app doesn't even allow you to display in chronically order or reverse. What you see is what you get period. The bills are listed with the furthest out instead of closest to the current day. App is terrible.....

I thought the rest of y'all were crazy for penalizing an app when you forget your login info. Buuut... they're right. I can log in to mobile banking. Can't log in to the app. ??? Also, when you open the app, there is no option to register, just sign in, despite the help menu directing new users to register first. OOOH!! It seems that there are two "Consumers Credit Union"s and a "Consumer Credit Union." That might be where a lot of these comments are coming from!! Check the icons.

Pretty outdated app. Seem to always have issues with it. The app was recently updated to have fingerprint scanning to make it fast to log in; however, after you've scanned your fingerprint it asks you two security questions...each time you log in - this defeats the whole purpose and makes it slower to log in.

It has been 2 years and the check depositing aspect of this still doesn't work and the app keeps crashing. I am surprised it has a 3.2 rating. It is a waste of time and memory on my phone. Need to find a financial institution that actually serves it customers well.

the old app was horrible, the new one not much better. I can't pay my car payment or credit card payment unless I do from your checking account, no other options. definitely not convenient. every other bank or credit card app i have is 10 times better than this one.

Streamlined site with lots of features. Easy to use. I absolutely DO NOT like it that I have to enter my security questions and answers every time I login. I'm using my fingerprint to login. I enable that for a convenient level of security so I don't have to enter a bunch of info.

My finger print reading has been broken for a month now. I've tried redoing it, re authorizing it, etc. No change. Tech support hasn't responded back to me. EDIT: the update somehow made it worse; poor UI, not intuitive, multiple menus. But at least the finger print reader works now🙄

Not user friendly. There is bill pay and external bill pay... Confusing... Trying to set up recurring deposits took forever. Trying to pay my CCU credit card was super confusing as well. Now, I can't make mobile deposits with my new phone running Android 11. Please look at other mobile banking apps and fix this one.

Check pay through app used to work, although not the greatest, now all of a sudden it completely doesn't work. Called to get tech support, and was supposed to get a call back because nobody was available, and then nobody called me back.

mobile check deposit is horrible! Took 6 tries before the image was accepted. Perfectly clear pic, good lighting and clean lense with image in the screen border frame everytime but still rejects the image as not clear enough. very frustrating. I will drive an hour each way next time to deposit. removing P.O.S. app right now.

I have been using the app for multiple years and the Express Shot is still pretty much terrible. I have not seen any improvements at all. Regardless how clean times the picture is, the app still always rejects it. Please fix this.

Worst app ever!! It won't let me transfer funds from my savings account to my loan account, I called and they said just uninstall and reinstall the app but it still doesn't work and every time I try to log in with the fingerprint sensor the screen just goes blank and the app won't close

This app is so confusing all I want to do it pay my car loan and make sure my payments are set up right and it has way to much going on that has nothing to do with me and it took way to long to even set up reccuring payments that I had to call over 4 times and I am still not sure it's set up right considering they took out two different car payments this month when it should have only been one for this month

Nice design, Preview of balance is missing, and deposit was not working at first even though it was a lot of lighting provided...it works though you just need bright background. Other than that great!
