Overall works WELL with the PXW-Z280 camera. What is missing is a good tutorial on the functions of the app. ALSO, some camera firmware versions running in camera harware will not always interface with the CBM app. It would be nice to see the V4.0 firmware encrypted key function brought into the CBM app instead of having to "sneaker net" the SDHC card from the utility slot to a PC.
Another crappy app from Sony... Thanx. Your software department is for firing! This app has to connect to Fs5, it connects to WiFi from the camera and presto - you can't find the camera in the app. Crappy app, again.
It is my first time to download this app but I'm finding it hard to connect with my camera.
The only usefull app that supports sony fs5 smartphone connect.

It works perfectly on X70, Very useful to control remotely. But any how it lacks the gain and white balance control. It will become more useful and productive when this controls where included.
Because i love it
Allows me to view, record, pause and zoom. Pretty amazing it does these though. I can't find any help or description anywhere. Phone app wont allow me to change iris or focus even though these options look like they should be available. I'm using a galaxy S5
I could not get this application working on the Sony PXW-X70 video camera using a Samsung S2 Plus smartphone. If you know of a fix please share. Love the idea of the app and I am sure all the bugs will be worked out so I am giving it a 5.
Cannot work in lenovo k900
Really needs an automatic SSID scan and search. Needs to work with No Password Networks. Will continue to play with the CBK-WA100 and review.

Does what it claims to do on my FX6... but it's utility is limited. It would be a more useful app, if you had better control of the Focus with: - Focus Peaking - Focus Magnification - Tap to Focus - Change Focus settings (Wide, Area, Spot / Face Priority etc) It would be ideal, if you could use your CBM to have the same functionality as the detachable on camera screen. This way you could use a phone/tablet instead of the screen.
