register once, then you can start
Enter your 9-digit social security number (z. B. 012345678), your first and last name and date of birth. Your insurance number can be found eg. As on your insurance card, your insurance policy or insurance statements. After you have received confirmation of your registration, you can submit your documents. This eliminates for the delivery of the original documents by mail.

Scan comfortable with your smartphone or tablet, the 2-D bar codes on your invoice. If no codes are printed, you photograph the bill easily. With the app, you can send your invoice data encrypted to the Continentale and will receive a transfer confirmation. The original documents and the entries in the invoice archive of the app, you must cancel at least 90 days after you have submitted this mobile.
Tip: Does your tariff a premium refund or lump sum before, then you collect your bills. Give them until when it's worth it. Because often a premium refund or lump sum will be higher than the actual invoice cost.
Safe with encrypted data transfer
For maximum safety ensure complex encryption method. Your data will be transmitted encoded. Only the Continentale health insurance A.G. can decrypt your data.

Couldn't submit any bills because app says to hold camera still when taking pictures even if camera is still.

Very convenient for submitting bills etc. Password did not work for me: I was able to set it, but it was rejected when using it (without any typo) to log in - maybe because it included a space character?
Suddenly app was not valid anymore and a new version had to be manually installed. But only informed of that fact after a few pages of bills had been scanned in. Terrible handling Conti
