Contixo F22

It appears the most recent update to this app (Version 1.3.9) has a problem. It does not hold the Wifi connetion once pairing...you basically cannot fly the drone. Do Not Install until they release a fix. I have reported this to the developer on January 23rd.

I, like many others, had the issue with the waypoint navigation crashing the app. It seems to be an Android issue. I contacted support and the reply included a link to the 1.3.2 version of the app that has this fixed as well as the drone status' translated to English. My only issue with this drone is it advertises 1200m travel range but the waypoint navigation is limited to a small distance. Otherwise I've had no issues with this drone or software. Contact support for v1.3.2 of the app!!

This is not an updated app. The updated app is version 1.3.2 for Android which they still have not put on the Play Store. If you download this app for an F 24 drone you will get an app that is not complete, that has Chinese in the status field, and there are several known bugs in the app. Worse, their support is by email only and the updated app, sent by email, won't load on my phone. I am ready to return my drone.

App is wonky but usable. I'm using a Google pixel xl 4 and couldn't get the video feed on the phone. It would "connect" to the wifi but the app wouldnt show that. Anyway I fixed it by turning off my mobile data. And it worked right away! Good luck out there!!

Misleading. App does not work with all Android phones. If you have an Android and the app won't connect to the drone (but does to wireless), download the Contixo F35 app, it is compatible with the F22 and works well enough.

The drone works well. If you have any other auto connect WIFI, turn them off. The save distance function will not work unless the phone and drone WIFI are connected. My only issue is that neither of the "follow me" functions work on my Samsung S4 or S8. CS was pretty good about help, eventually they had me return the drone for testing. I got a new one, but "follow me" still will not work. Must be software related. If anyone has a cure please post the answer. J.O.

I have the F24 pro which uses this app. Connection with the drone is great. Video does lag slightly at the extremes of distance, but that is to be expected. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the map won't load. I downloaded my local map on google maps like it says to do, but the map won't load still.

The Drone is a blast and the pictures are good. The only issue I have to view my pictures and videos on my computer. Other than minor issues with the app being compatible with my phone to store videos and pictures it works good for viewing the camera on the drone during flight.

I operate the F22 and the F24 Pro, both are excellent working drones for their prices. Lot's of fun. I have even crashed the F22 which ended up in water for 2 minutes before I could get to it. A year later, it's still working great. The app is straight forward, user friendly. Highly recommend these drones to anyone looking to get the experience!

For some reason I can't get the maps to load in any capacity. Its always just blank. The 1 button return to home works great but I can't do anything to load the map. Even downloading the maps from Google doesn't make a difference

I use a moto phone, the maps and waypoint flights wouldn't load. I noticed other reviewers make similar remarks. I noticed there are several similar drones available on the market with similar software. after testing three other apps that seemed to have similar problems I found one that works perfectly, well worth the search. The app worked well besides this just rated 1 star to get this message to other users I'd give it three or four stars otherwise.

Worked ONCE and then was never able to reconnect to drone again. Rebooted phone. Network on/off. Drone on/off. and any combination of the three. Uninstalled/reinstalled app. Never connected again. Wi-Fi is connected to drone. Pixel2

I have the same issue that other users have posted about. When I try to use the waypoint function, the app crashes. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ operating Android 10. Other than that, the app seems to work well.

I wish I read these reviews before buying this drone. The drone is amazing but the app is awful. Note 9 - you cannot record any videos or take any pictures. Every time I press the photo or record button the app freezes and I have to force close. Doesn't even record it to the microsd card for later viewing.

Great drone, and camera but I also see Chinese writing on the app, when ready to fly. Not happy about that, and this is my second F24, and neither one will work in follow me mode. It keeps saying weak signal. I also like many others see an app just for the F24.

It kinda suxxx...i cant use the function that allows u to map out pre-set destination points...and it makes me quite SAD...other little things too...i was xpecting a whole lot more for the three bills + more samoleans i shelled out for this b...wah

Misleading. App does not work with Android phones. If you have an Android, download the Contixo F35 app, it is compatible with the older models and works perfect!

Phenomoninal Drone! You cannot beat the price, and the app functions nearly flawlessly! I love that it integrates Google Maps and has a lot of functionality for a third-party drone. The F22 drone is equally impressive and you truely cannot beat the features and software for the price!

UPDATE 3-February-2021 APP has been updated to version 1.4.3 - Initial testing is positive. Photo and video saving functions on my Samsun Galaxy S10+ are now working! Further testing of the newly updated app will occur this weekend as time allows! Thanks to Contixo and especially to Mr. Villegas (Support Supervisor) for personally reaching out directly to me, and for their positive and corrective actions in updating the app! This is a nice drone product, functional, easy and fun to fly!

When the app appears to fail, "forget" network, then re-add. Can't tell you how relieved ppl will be to know this tidbit. Uninstalling & reinstalling does not fix this.

So far everything is good except app will not allow switching off beginner mode on my pixel 4a. I have contacted app support and will update review when problem is resolved. Contixo, please don't force me to update with negative comments!!!!

This doesn't seem to cover F24 Pro. Needs to be updated to explain how to operate indoors with no gps signal. The procedure in this app does not work. I can't get blades to start up. Lights wont go solid.

My s9+ will not allow video any longer...after security update...what the hell? It connects to wifi but nothing from the app..I have to use outdated tablets for it to work. Ergh.

Waypoint does not work on Samsung 8+ or s10plus. Please update so I am able to use ALL the functions this drone is advertised as being able to do. If it gully functional for Android devices please inform, if not. Advise sotnat people that purchase this drone know what they are getting into

connections issues have to be set directly from your wifi settings. disconnect from your home and connect only to your drone and everything will work including your distance issues but only while connected via wifi.
