Romanian whist is a variation on contract whist where only the top cards are used to make 8 per player e.g. 3 players only A,K,Q,J,10,9 are used. The number of cards in the hand starts at 1 and there is 1 round like this per player, then the number of cards increases by 1 each round to 8, then there is 1 round of 8 for each player. Lastly the number of cards decreases back to 1 and then there is 1 round again per player. In the long version cards start at 8, go to 1, then back to 8. Trumps are decided by turning the top card after the deal. If you have a trump and trumps are not led you must play the trump. If the number of cards is 8 then there are no trumps. Each player scores the number of tricks they bid plus 5 if they make the contract. If they miss the contract deduct 1 for each trick over or under.

Great game and easy to play with friends on the multiplayer option. However there are a few bugs, for instance not being able to see scores during a game. It would also be great to be able to either create our own game and scoring, as options are limited. Overall, I found this to be very good app for a light hearted game.
Good game, but 1. It freezes when the screen locks itself(timeout). 2. It takes 100% cpu on minimum 2 up to 8 cores(out of 8), the graphics (cards moving) stutters and the phone warms a lot. 3. Pressing back after a game is finished is not intuitive. A simple big button "replay" or "home" would be ok.
game is nice. But lots of bugs. it crashes a lot missing important features. U cant see the score during playing. how can u update your flag? the high scores are not goid enough. there are a lot of cases tgat a player is disconnected and then the other players get stuck waiting. very frustrating. another annoying thing is that plsyers always leave when they lose their chances, and then you get stuck playing against the computer.
Never had any issues other than transfering points when I get a new phone. Never crashes, never any ads, and plays exactly the way the game is played.
Fantastic Game. AI is almost perfect in most games. Only complaint is the saving of a game in progress, since it doesn't revert to the same hand or even the same game after you attempt to open it again.
Using this game to play with family while social distancing. The main point for trying this app was no ads and no in game purchase. Have played the actual game for many years and it worked well except for 2 points. Was unable to make a private game, so had to create a game and have family members quickly join before other players joined. An alternative to private would have been an option to boot the random joiners. The only other option we wanted would be to disable forcing the dealer make the total bid uneven, sometimes called "hook" or "screw the dealer".
A good game, i would definitely recommend it. However, there are a few (not many) idiots who troll. I think they have a way of crashing the game? It would be good to be able to kick them out of a game you created.
The program designed to play this game is so not random it's makes the game so unrealistic. I can call you are playing a hand with unwanted tricks and you go for less than the total you can guarantee the first card played will be to your exposed middle of the range card everytime. That never happens in normal playing. There are many many equally unrealistic plays in this game. It will teach you how to play but won't teach you real game play. Shame because this is s great card game
On romanian whist on the first hand sometimes it looks like the AI knows my cards. If I have a let's say J or Q without a cover card the first hand the AI will play is exactly that colour and of course i'll take the trick and fail the game. Besides this it's a good app to kill time
Game locks up. Forces player to make an unwanted bid which can cause loss of current hand or the game. Would be a great game with code fixes.
Pretty basic. REALLY annoying feature is that if you leave the app mid game the app freezes and crashes.
I really like the game but when I get to 70,000 points or so, even if I win games, I don't improve in the rankings. This is a shame for me and makes the game less appealing.
Freezes up too much. Finally had to uninstall. Also should have an option for high-score deals. That way the screw-the-dealer bidding actually would handicap whoever is currently in the lead
I've had this game for a while and have always enjoyed it. I've never noticed any bugs and have had an overall positive experience with this app. It's fun and a good way to kill time.
Great App. Good fun, multiple variations, doesn't need internet and no ads. I highly recommend it.
Hey, I love the game, and the app, but, since like, yesterday, it constantly says it can't log on to the server. Has anyone experienced that? Is it my phone or something wrong with the app?!
Forces you to bid when it is impossible to take a trick. Was down to 2 tricks, other players bid 0 and dealer bid 2. I had no Trump cards plus 2 low cards. Forced to bid 1, which cost me to lose.
I'm looking forward to face harder/smarter AI. I wish to have private room where only my friends can join.

This game is not entertaining just irratiting...the computers players most always win...what's the point in playing? Absolutely none!
this app does NOT add your score onto your running total and in many cases subtracts your game score from this total.
Brilliant the family can all play our favourite card game online especially good during lock down

Multiplayer dont work say unable to establish connection
Plays well and has a number of variants to choose from. No ads. Unfortunately it does have a bug that causes the game to freeze sometimes. Would like if it would have a player score display while in play, and also an option to disallow leading with trumps unless seen already. One last wish, a flat black background for amoled screens?
