been using it for a few years, got no complaints. it's great to be able to access it from phone or laptop. there's been some glitches, but it seems like they took care of it.
great app , good looking invoice and estimates without charging a dime
Really this is a great app. Love that it links your materials with your favorite stores and automatically fills in the pricing. The problem is that "Gizwood" is at the top of emails to clients. Mb we just have dirty minds around here, but comes off as inappropriate and unprofessional. Why someone chose that name is beyond me and very unfortunate. Would have used it. Wanted to use it. Let me know if that changes.
Does everything you want, has everything you need, and if you find something it doesn't have you can create and save it to use for everything else. It does take a minute to learn what menus have what options and how to navigate them all, but with a little patience anyone can be a pro at this. Great app and a definite asset to any business.
For starters, this app is going to cost me many hours of rework to completely recalculate 5 estimates that that are all blank! The client names have remained although their data on The Client List is also blank! Previous invoices are gone! Multiple attempts to email various invoices we're unsuccessful, sent but none were ever received. I had to print and hand-deliver. This app appears to be more user-friendly and versatile. No deduction of deposits or discounts on invoices
Love the app. If GetCost had a Lifetime upgrade I would do it in a heart beat. I will be looking for another program till GetCost changes this.
Crazy... it's really nice when you download an app and it does everything you wanted it to do times a million.. most of the time i download a few different versions of the same kind of app and hope one does what I want and usually I don't get everything I need out of an app. All anybody starting up a business needs is this app everything that this does is perfect for doing side work and jobs. As long as the pricing is accurate then you guys knocked it out of park with this one
Initial thoughts are that it feels unpolished. Found a few typos in the app and in the emails I sent testing it. Can't figure out how to enter a labor task and set a single price for it, nor a per foot price. I'll tinker more and update later. Love the PayPal integration!
This app was working great for about 4 months. Now when I open the app, everything is gone. I have no clients listed, no invoices, no estimates. Where is all of my business information? My records? It just disappeared. Also... the name of this app was called "Gizwood", not "Get Cost" Is this a breach of my clients confidentiality? Where did all of my client profiles go? This is very frustrating because we have active work orders that we've started on this app! Please restore my stuff.
I have downloaded app after app saying they are the best estimate, invoice, and qoute app. But this app here is far better than any of the ones ive used for my fencing company. Its actually the precise all in one app. Im very happy to use this one and simply right to the point of every need. Thanks again.
I've been trying to figure out how to use this app for 2 hours. I haven't figured anything out except for logo and how to enter customer info

Great great job I have been looking for this app for a long time pretty impressed don't quit tweaking it but great job amazing I would recommend this app to all contractors you can add your materials and their costs plenty of room for all your customers information I haven't had an issue with the app yet and it does everything I've been looking for in this kind of app
App is amazing for running my small construction company, however the developers at Getcost need to update materials pricing. Most material pricing is from pre-pandemic costs, which have since almost tripled for alot of materials so you either need to know prices well or double check EVERYTHING.

worst app ever after spending over an hour getting everything set up, and spending 30 min getting my estiment done i get kicked out and will not let me back in not worth my time or money. Now i have to spend more time that i dont have finding an app that actually works.
This was a good app for me til I couldn't sign in and lost everything I had clients , bids, reports months of hard work. And I pay for pro. Now I can't even get the app to open and work.
Simple! Easy! Quick! Not everything a contractor/sole proprietor needs but the speed and ease of use makes up for it.
I appreciate the set up with materials, but I'm confused on how I really explain the work to be done. I just kind of put the price in and explained in the notes. It's the only way I really see it happening. I'm still new to using it so I'm still learning.
I was using the app for more than 5 months and now I lost all my data even I signed with my user. Tried to contact the help support and didn't answer.
This app make my job so much easier sending out invoices and estimates!! I have not had any problems with this app so far!!
Waste of time. Just wasted 30 minutes typing up an invoice just for it to delete everything. Do not bother downloading this app!

Best Free App for Construction By far. Fast easy relevant to all materials. I'd give a 12 if it had a 12 scale rating on here
We have been using this app for 3 yrs. When it worked, It did what I need it to do but I have had several incidents where the app wasn't working properly. I used to be able to click on a date & enter data, now it opens on todays date everytime & I have to change it. I used to be able to create a workorder. It began printing every entry as the same date. Now it isn't working at all. I can't use any sidebar options- the screen is grey. I have lost all my data. I am forced to look for a new one.
