Contractor Foreman (Project Management Software)

We are almost a month into use and have enjoyed the training, which has greatly improved our proficiency with the application. We love how flat the navigation is and that you can add to most of not all of the select lists without leaving the current form. We are learning to use templates and hope that will reduce our time to get the job completed and invoiced.

We love this software! It's affordable, efficient and user friendly. We track time, jobs, estimates, invoices, change orders and all the data populates into Quickbooks and back. If you try it and something isn't working, don't give up. We've had a few things we didn't like but found "another way" and made it work for us. I don't chase guys on site for hours, updates and most recently we started using time off request feature that populates approved time off in calendar. Loving it!!

Its a recommended app for those who wants all usable and most needed features in one app. Just go for this. Its easy to use and most of features are self explanatory. Support team is always there to help on new features and their advantages. So many complex management of business is made so handy to track and control through this single app. Few of functionalities seems slow in performance wise in iPhone. Otherwise I did not find any major glitch compared to other app. So, definitely 👍

Contractor Foreman is an affordable tool that helps me manage all of my construction projects. It is packed with features and very user friendly. My staff use the smart phone app to enter their time on the fly which helps me get the invoices out faster. We are in Canada and have had no cross boarder issues and it integrates nicely with Quickbooks On-line.

Absolutely love contractor foreman. The app is pretty well done, lots of functionality. Also an affordable option compared to a lot of other contractor programs we looked into.

There is no option to log in. I can put in my credentials but there is not an option to log in.

First month self training so far and I am extremely happy with it so far and once I know it inside and out to be very simple and gets better every month

It is just ok. Very slow. It relies completely on an internet connection so if you have no ne it doesn't work. Very frustrating when you're tring to do time sheets or daily logs. it needs to be fully functional without an internet connection and sync when it gets one. Great functionality and easy to use when it works. Revised 12/9/20. They definitely have been working on improving their product. It is working well and they have added many features to this app.

But it is glitchy and takes a fair amount of time to learn your way around. Not all of the workflow makes perfect sense but on the flip side of that the cost in comparison to other project management applications that can be ran from your phone and the computer is significantly less which makes up for the learning curve in the minor inconveniences. All in all it's a decent app.

I am still learning all this program has to offer. It helps me to organize and be more aware of the all the moving parts in my projects. it is great way to mirror your strengths and also the weak areas that need more time and attention. This program needs time and project data to learn and to impliment it's many features. The team at Contractor Foreman has been very helpful. Use them, it really helps. Chat option not proper app lot of bugs no free version working can u explain why

I'm a employee user and it's pretty cool and advanced. I would say it's more to benifit the employer. It sucks if you forgot to clock out and have to contact the administrator in the office. Edit: January 2021, they fixed lots of android bugs like not being able to access your location while connected to wifi. (was very very annoying). Seems to be running faster too within the app on phone(not internet connection).

Excellent program and a great value especially for smaller contractors

Amazing software for construction companies. I got it mostly for the scheduling but now use it for estimates, invoices, change orders, punch lists, and pretty much every other aspect of project management. This software is so inexpensive that I would never have believed that it could do so much.

I subscribed for 30 day trial period. In order to cancel the subscription, you have to email CF. It took me two days to figure it out, which went beyond 30 daya. To cancel the subscription within 100-day period, there are special requirements written in fine print, which are difficult to meet if you are trying out the product. Please be careful for trying the product.

Shocking for employees takes ages to clock in to jobs and almost impossible to edit unless you can bring a laptop to a building site with you. 1 star as zero isn't an option....clockshark app is far superior

only just started but I've been through the software mill and i think these guys actually got it right. it's maybe not complete yet but they are moving at a rate of knots and everything they have done so far is spot on. simple yet powerful, so far can't fault it and at a fraction of the price. I mean a fraction.

This was a very bad experience. 12-15 employees. Had technical glitches all the way along. Tech support was frustrated and defensive. We finally gave up. We didn't read the fine print on the cancelation. 6 Months later they charged our card for renewal. We contacted the same day and they refunded 80% for one day knowing we had problems with the APP. Customer service was constant with the tech support we received. Make sure you read the fine print. Good Luck

Super easy if you take time to learn a little bit. Fast help support. It does more than I need, but I will grow into needing more as our company grows. Don't expect to get good results unless you're willing to apply some effort in learning. That goes for any app. If you're lazy, don't bother.

so far so bad. using this as a subcontractor and as soon as I created a time ticket the app hijacked my phone. even when force stopping the app with zero permissions turned on it would "wake" back up within minutes and eat up almost 2gb of ram. the entire time it's running the time ticket! seems to have forced it's way into app and information so I'm not sure what is compromised without going through each program "while this malware is running" to deny access.

I signed up for free trial. They took my credit card information. I asked about their plus plan, and they charged my card over $2000 without an invoice. Now, they say that they won't refund me. Worst trial experience that I have ever had. I would recommend using BuilderTrend with a customer support that cares about you.

I signed up a few hours ago after visiting the website and ready through all the features. To be fair there were no real catches ,but certainly misleading advertising. First of all it's not $49/month unless you pay annual (which in and of itself is fine). But additionally you have to submit a credit card in order to start the free trial (again not an issue alone). But finally,after submitting all this access was not granted immediately. I have been waiting now for an hour and 15 minutes.

My company is a pool installation and landscaping company. We have been through a few programs before, but none of them offer the kind of service this company gives us. It has many features we love and many things in production that we are excited for. Using this app and desktop version has been easy to just jump into and make our own. The staff is very responsive in emails and online chats and take into consideration when we have a problem or idea. We look forward to the growth of this program.

recently purchased for small carpentry remodeling business. finally a app that does everything we need for our business. love the videos for almost every section of the app. customer service quickly responds with any questions. priced very well for all the features you get in one app.

Most the time it's super useful, since the last update I having an issue with pulling up projects, I search the name and it acts like it's searching but nothing happens. I LOVE THAT Y'ALL HAVE LIVE SUPPORT AND YOU HELP IMMEDIATELY! The weekly online training is awesome especially when we have new hires!

Great software/app if you are getting started with project management software. Developers release monthly updates and are always looking to improve. They appreciate suggestions to make their software better. As with all software, the benefit is in how much you use it. The more time you take to learn the software the more benefit you will receive.

I hate apps that force people to rate. Update: I left a suggestion through the app to allow clock outs if not within the geo fence, as this would be more of a internal issue with any administrative need. This feature alone of not allowing the employees to clock out and continue the gps tracking because of address changes has made me very worried about information. In my circumstance, the geofence was changed midshift and my location was tracked for a week. Turn off location after clocking in

This app has made daily operations and overall organization much better hands down! Very easy to get the hang of. Live being able to see what my work week is looking like rather than just daily operations that I got from past apps. This app is awesome and plan on using for a long time!

This software has been great for our contracting company. There are endless features to keep us organized and tailor to our needs. Customer service has been phenomenal and the app has been very user friendly. I enjoy that you can customize which widgets are on your main page when you log in.
