I am pleased by the ease of use and sheer convenience this app presents. However, the lack of custom programming capability harms the usability of this app, and relagates it to the most basic of tasks. This app alone could be used as the reason to become a Control 4 dealer, and what the app does, it does extremely well. But I suppose Control 4 holds it back because of Composer Pro's exsistance, and the fact that if you could custom program on this app, there would be little reason to use pro.
When it works it is very convenient. But it always seems to have some error or another, uncaught this, unsaved that. Frustrating.
Really nice when identifying devices or even adding a new one. the wizard interface is great!
This is an invaluable resource when you are a Control4 dealer. I have fixed clients problems while on the chair lift at the luge in Rotorua. That's pretty awesome. Fast connection for diagnosis and minor changes. More dealers need to use this!
constant crashes. I wish I could go back to before it updated. It was much more stable then.
Crashes after 30 seconds with "connection to the server was unsuccessful" file:///android_asset...
Unable to input IP address for local system.. only allows a single dot.
Scrolling is all messed up on Android 9. Screen doesn't move. Often selects a device I don't want, just trying to scroll down the list. Basically unusable at this point.
Can not use any more. When scrolling down to find a device within a room, before you can even scroll to it the list refreshes putting you at the top. Not usable. Was ok before!!!
Does the job, ideal for quick remote diagnosis.
After successful login and start using App, suddenly an error message received. "The connection to the server was unsuccessful" please fix the bug.
Great for quick, basic installations with no surprises.
Doesn't work on oneplus two, javascript errors.
Perfect for when a client catches you without your laptop. Nicely done.

Works fine for me on android 8 / lg v30 phone. Typically never bring my laptop any more to service calls, love this app! So far it seems that I only need my laptop for editing/creating custom drivers and initial set up. Pros Literally like zero pop ups asking me to renew, register, verify, incorrect firmware alerts, etc. It's a convenience and a half. Surely a laptop will be faster but if you forget your laptop or psu in the truck/shop this handy app saves you! Sometimes this app is actually better ! You get to avoid all the firmware version difference alerts and notifications composer pops up with. When you get to hundreds of customers you'll see what I mean. Cons 1) relocate the save/refresh navigator button to the same page as the device you are editing. 2) Possible issue with network discovery with older controller firmware? 3) Edit driver option Never really set up a controller start to finish on this app, so I can't comment on the registration process using this app. But this app is awesome for service calls.
