Quickly browse your own music collection or find a favorite track on streaming music services--and listen in one room or across every room in your home. Adjust your lights with interactive dimmers or use a lighting scene as a single button press to control lights across multiple rooms. Fire up the heater on your pool or spa. Open garage doors or an electric gate, or use the app to unlock a deadbolt on a door.
Connect to your system at home over your own Wi-Fi network. You can also use the app to access and manage your home from virtually anywhere in the world using mobile data like 4G/LTE or remote Wi-Fi networks when the app is enabled with a Control4 4Sight subscription.

This app worked fine for about a year. Now it won't connect and it's basically wanting me to pay for a subscription to 4sight I don't want and I don't need, or upgrade my equipment which is another thing I don't want. What happened and why's it no longer connecting... my computers and remote connect just fine.
App is useless at this time. Recently had new home built and automation installed and setup to be run thru Control4. Unfortunately if you don't have an iPhone the app is not compatible with Android or other platforms. Continues to ask for an update to OS 3, but won't allow the update due to not being available. Will this ever be resolved.
good app. an interface update would be good with a more modern and simplistic setup. launch time should be made quicker too. don't trust the negative reviews on here, they're from those that are bit backwards on how the app is supposed to work.
Very complicated No one can use but me. Remote doesnt work at all. Cant make any changes or fixes. Must contact Control 4 dealer. Guy who installed it sold me obsolete components he had in inventory. He doesn't respond at all. Contacted other dealers. They all want me to spend thousands upgrading and all it is is a whole house music system. New dealer was going to sell me a system that wont connect to Spotify which is my main go to.
I don't recomend this app if your system is old (2012) and really just a simple home theater remote consolidation. I don't see value in paying more for installer to upgrade software so I can use this app.
All the negative reviews I have been reading seem to be user error or just lack of understanding how the app works. I have had zero crashes and app works perfectly fine.
App fine except no cover art for my music albums all albums named but just represented with a clapper board icon - am running os2 v 2.10.4.5533.... Am running app on android fire 10 tablet - have an older samsung tab running previous version of this C4 app and picks up the cover art etc perfectly !!
Need Control4 os3 to connect to our in-house system. Os3 is not available and new system will not connect to os2. Very frustrating as a lot of $ was spent on inhousr stereo/ TV system.
Works well have been using it for a few years now. Note this is only if you have a system running Control4 OS2. For those on OS3 you need the Control4 OS3 app in the app store.
Video Overview button, on the first screen, is broken. The button acts as if it's been clicked, but does not go anywhere.
i used to hate the whole c4 system but having sacked 4 useless installers i finally came to one genius engineer who simply installed it the way it should have been done from the start. if you cant get it to work the chances are your Wi-Fi needs improving.... or you just need to call Lewis Light and Sound. C4 is great but it needs a good installer and most of the ones I've met so far are cowboys and incompetent
Terrible So frutrating. Switched from iOS to Android. Now it keeps wanting an advanced security password. It saves it then does nothing!
Good app when it is working, my experience is that I need to contact the vendor to resolve issues, not very user friendly.
Utterly useless. It simply doesn't work. The interface makes something that should be simple into something unnecessarily complicated.
Too rigid and too slow. For such an expensive system it needs to be open to more customization.
Pretty far from being the ultimate control. Why isn't the custom buttons visible on a phone!?! How hard can it be?
Constantly glitches and the only way to get it working again is to uninstall and then reinstall it. I'm getting tired of doing this!
This is the worst app. Doesn't work well with sonos any more. I can't add music services.
I have problem accessing the app keep asking me the password then saves it and nothing happens. Company cannot assist if the dealer not involved
Works great on our cell phones, but not our note 10 tablet. Perhaps it's too old.
Guys. This is the most perfect and good app ever in house and homes. It is the best and easy to use for beginners.

i am unable to use the new google chromebook to work the os2 app from play store. will not connect to my system.
no way to add devices... they literally just removed functionality from my receiver by installing this box

This app works well when connected however it doesnt connect well with my network, all other devices apps work well with my network, I'm very disappointed in the control 4 system as a whole, it's very difficult for anyone else to use it in my home, everyone gets frustrated just trying to work the TV surround system... I should have just installed good old fashioned sound bars with my T V's because they always work and I can stream music through via Bluetooth easily
