Expensive system and poor app quality, it's 2018 guys!
Im a technician and I haven't heard an complaint or tough Times with my control4 clients & A/V integration

I wish I never bought one, what a hunk of crap. Control 4 guys you really need some developers that can make your software work, yet to find anything you make without tons of issues.

This app is awesome works on samsung, Xoom, iPad, iPhone, PC. You also need a foresight subscription for this to work. If you don't have one contact your control4 dealer and subscribe. The camera display may be slow but this is caused by the deep security concerns the company has for your privacy
I have Control 4 controlling everything in my house. If you plan on controlling blinds now or in the future this app is rendered useless. I'm missing several room controls and important controls since adding blinds. The Apple app works great. I would have looked at Savant control systems if i would have known my android could not be used.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and my wife has am Apple 5s. The app works seamlessly on Apple but is slow and not dependable on Android. I really dislike Apple devices bit may be forced to switch if Control 4 doesn't fix this software. I have had Control 4 since April 2013 and app has not improved at all. Disappointing!!
After the app crashes and you relaunch it, the screen will lock up to where you need to either pull the battery or hold down the power button to get the phone to function again. H.264 with the new 2.5.3 director doesn't display the camera feed correctly.
The people that put 5 stars have to be C4 employees. I have been extremely disappointed with the slowness of this app. I had to buy a 3rd party app to access my cameras because it was taking so long to load. This is true for 2 Droid Maxx phones, 2 Samsung Galaxy tablets...both with the latest operating systems... plus an iPad air. This is true on Wi-Fi and full bars 4g. As expensive as C4 is it is hard for me to understand why it is so slow to load. It's like an '85 Impala living in a 2014 BMW world'.
Don't use this if you are running kitkat. It never switches rooms without crashing. Use it on my S5 and it's rubbish. It was average on my Samsung tab3, but then I upgraded to kitkat and it's now terrible. The pic version isn't much good either.
Agree with all the other one star ratings. Would give it zero if I could. Crashes all the time. I've almost blown out speakers when the volume control sticks. Probably going to switch to iPhone since my whole house is control4
Very poor performance on Kitkat devices. Have tried on Nexus tablets, Samsung Note 3 and S5. Locks up devices especially when the device sleeps. Almost unusable unless you kill the app after each use. Would really like an alternative.
Works fine on Apple but totally unusable on Android.
Operations are very slow compare to ios If u navigate from one room to other then the app hungs and results to a force close. Need to resolve the bugs and issue.
Please add the ability to play music through Control4 Connected speakers from Google Play Music. Also, the app and the Control4 system are slow and unstable.
Horrible took me all weekend to disconnect, now I have an entertainment system that is normal. DIRECTV remote works fine enough. Would have rated negative if given a chance
Don't get it when you haven't got a smarthouse including when you have a smarthouse it's terrible.
Laggy and is very incompatible with android, iOS, and windows devices(but who cares about windows phones).
Added to system and now it won't even find it with the IP address. Rather useless.

Nexus 5 app crashes when accessing cameras. Please fix it.
App does not work with our new Samsung S10 phones. Worked OK on our older Samsung devices. We have C4 2.5.3 and should not have to upgrade our C4 system to operate it with our new phones. The newer app for Version 2.0 (which with Control4 web site help said to install) also does not work with our system. Our frustration with C4 continues. Now we have to operate our system either with the remote or keep our old, slow phones around.
