Installed it on my galaxy s3 and on tablet running jelly bean and works great on both. For those saying it keeps asking to connect to device,,, click the settings button, the scosche deck will be there, click on it and enjoy. I park my car on the beach, crank the tunes and can change the songs or volume without going to the car
I recently installed the Scosche Stereo in my vehicle and downloaded the Control FREQ app for Android. Everything seems to work, but the audio or music streaming function from the app menu. It gives me an error that freezes my phone. I have a LG G2. I had to stream music on the stereo by normally sharing my music with another device via Bluetooth. Hope this issue can be solved in a newer version ? Thanks
Needs a folder view on usb and sd card modes, app should know its a remote for the stereo it's not like it's designed to control an iPad.. A few adjustments and I will be perfect.
Is there a compatibility lising somewhere? Installed on my Nexus 4. The bluetooth streaming and calling work well, but the controlfreq interface does not work at all. The menu won't open and the program keeps telling me to connect a device despite the fact I am streaming music from the phone. The Scosche website is not very informative but I am still searching the web for answers. Maybe the app does not like the newest Android OS.
IPod won't show up if it's already playing before I connect phone to radio. If I exit USB mode I can't go back to it. Just shows loading circle. When iPod is connected it doesn't show song or list on phone. Concept is good, execution is extremely poor.
This is a great idea, but why do I need to go to Settings, select Folder on, close out that screen, go to Parent Directory, select the Artist. Every time? Too complicated. The 'Beep' option is asinine! Please improve. I've been waiting 3 years for a response! 😠
The app does not connect and work properly on my s4. I cannot select my music from the app. Works perfectly on my friends note 3.
Need to work on the app.. could look better.. also the music could have a recently played or sum.. let us make our own playlist.. something. I have a lot of music and havin to scroll through alphabetical order is very annoying.. please work on this app I just bought the radio a week ago..
Without a functioning app the radio is no better than the stock radio that came with the car. Looks like the developers gave up on this 4 years ago.

There so many changes you can make to this app to make it more convenient for the users. You havnet updated the app in over a year, highly unacceptable.
App is a good idea but I can't figure out how to sync it to the radio. In the radio's manual it gives a website that supposedly shows how to sync but the page says that it doesn't exist.
I always have problems with the app, when I connect it when I switch to my music button it kicks me out of the app and disconnects by it self and it always says that the app it stop working every time when I press to the my music logo it's just a useless app
All I can do with this app is turn up and down the volume. Anything else and it crashes. Nexus 5
Need to fix music option, always shuts off when selecting Music. Plus always have to reconnect to device once program is closed then opened again. Please reply so I know somebody is listening. Thanks I guess nobody is replying.
this app needs to remember your settings, I hate having to select random, and folder view every time I get in my car. And needs to auto connect, really how many head units would one person ever connect to? And utilize some of that screen space for bigger buttons. Themes? Skins? Voice commands? Updates every now and then would be kickass.

would be nice if this program works but obviously It didn't because you need some kind of other hardware device hooked into your stereo for it to work. my stereo is kind of old and doesn't have an auxiliary jack on it is kind of why I want an FM transmitter in the first place. it's hard to find one that works I've already tried 3 different apps not of them work. just BS programs to get your identity, contact information, etc
