ConvertPad - Unit Converter

This is one of my favorite utilities. Contains just about any unit of measure you can think of, and doesn't require data connection to function. Like the fact that it does all the calculations on the input number, and you just scroll thru the list to find the answer you want. Wish it had a breakdown of complex units to basic units (like N=kg*m/s^2).

Number pad display issues. Have had this app for years and loved it. The oversized number pad makes this app unusable now and it has been this way for well over a year (longer than I can remember and likely about 2 years now). Done waiting for it to be fixed as it appears to be no longer supported. Last software update was 2 years ago. Deleting the app. Such a shame.

This app is one of the few that I've taken the time to review as for a free app, it truly is the best of the bunch. They have every imaginable measurement type (including some fairly obscure ones) and update it (e.g. for newer IT related ones). Adverts are not intrusive (like other free apps) and I can't see you'd need any other conversion app ever. This is not a spam review, it's just a bloody good app that does what you want it to do.

I have used this app for unit conversion since I had a Galaxy S3 and I don't have a single complaint. The Ads are just a small banner across the bottom; they aren't intrusive. It has more unit conversion than I would ever need, with the ability to add custom conversion formulas. I have never considered using anything else. Excellent app!

I have had this app for a while it is great up until now. When you go to input the numbers the pad is so big alot of it is cut off make the app useless. It's like it zoomed in . I have uninstalled and reinstalled still doesn't work. I have sent an email for help but nooo response. This seem to be the trend once you buy an app they don't care .

Excellent app. I have been using it for years now, and always reliable for what I use it. I would give it 5 stars if it had a time zone converter (i travel a lot, and suffer from jetlag. I would love to easily find out when I should go to sleep in my home zone to adjust to another zone). Thank you

this app used to be great but now i can't use it because the value input screen pops up massively overzoomed and with no apparent way to zoom out so I can't access all tthe numbers. also i tried readjusting the font size in the options menu and it never saves my changes - you can only cancel or press back on the phone which cancels the change... :(

The developer is unresponsive to issues with the software. I purchased the paid version of this app. I upgraded my phone, the app reverted to the unpaid version. I have written numerous emails to the developer with no resolution. It has now been over a month. They do not answer emails about this issue. Do not support this company, do not purchase the paid version!

Used app quite often. Just never r8ed it yet. But also just noticed it hasn't been updated since 8 Jun 20 so don't know if developer still involved. No issues except w currency exchange. Only 4 countries w Mexico not being one of them. Given our communist Chinese puppet Gov't currently residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave is trying to bankrupt us, the peso may soon be > USD! However, it does have update feature which I can only assume (hope?) connects to current exchg r8. Works gr8 on my Note 8.

For years this and its paid alternative have been the ONLY¹ unit and currency conversion app I could find which support full algebraic expressions for user-defined units. Most apps don't support adding your own units at all, but even the ones that do usually only support a single multiplier of some other unit. Not all conversion are simple ratios! ¹command line interfaces to the unix "units" command don't count as an app.

Best UI of unit converters. Shows conversions to all possible units simultaneously, instead of one at a time like every other one I've seen.

I don't usually (almost never) rate an app when nothing is wrong with it. That's A HUGE problem for the App CREATORS. They're trying to get reviews at 4 & 5 🌟s: But their app works great and we move on, WE FORGET🔴🌟= 💵💰💷💶💴✔️ Well, I searched for unit conversion for mm to pixels (how the screen you're looking at now is measured and how big to make stuff on our screen. 4 Different APPS! Then I remembered this one, and on the NON PRO version, BAM! It had me covered. USE THIS ONE! NOW! 😃

Love this app, but calculator function is over zoomed. Works if I turn my phone horizontally. And I have tried changing the font size. But I can't seem to shrink the calculator in vertical orientation. Thanks for a great app other then this hiccup!!

The number pad for the units are out of alignment, I cannot see the delete or the brackets properly. I like the app very much but the keyboard is a major issue for daily use.

Been using this app for years and the only reason is that the developer NEVER changes things! It's exactly as it should be, nothing needs altering or "improving". Developer: ignore the stupid people, ignore Google Play, and only update for bugs, NEVER to change any element of the UI. Very good, useful app which we use quite often. Good for everyday use or technical tasks, it's simple and makes sense.

This is a great converter with lots of options and very considerable but one thing lets it down. It has multiple language options but not British english. The American english spellings are confusing. Please add British english to the options. THANKS.

I have enough space in my phone 130 MB free in phone memory. 1.2 GB free in sd card. this app needs less than 10 MB of space... but it still asks me to free space and automatically selects WhatsApp app and marks for uninstallation. ConvertPad is misleading the Android OS in assessing that there is shortage in memory space. Hence I am unable to install ConvertPad app. I will choose another similar app that does the memory space assessment sensibly and correctly. I will not install Convertpad.

On the huawei mate p20 pro the input keyboard extend out of the screen to the right making input characters like - and ) unaccessible. I have the accessibility settings in Android set to maximum text size due to poor eyesight.

The perfect converter app!! There are sooooooo many options and conversions there isn't anything you cannot find! I have the free version. I cannot imagine how the pay version could be better!

I had the paid version of this app but after reinstalling it on a new phone some months ago it has ads and I cannot get the piad version again with out paying again. Emailed the developer twice with no response.

its a great tool, im loving it... for me, simple interface is the way to go for these things, i really do not need emoticons and pazzaz on my calculators... could we get a dB conversion to Pa under Sound? would be a great addition

Used to be Great. Can't input numbers because they are so big they don't fit on the screen. Tried uninstalling and then reinstalling but the results were the same.

The app is really simple to use and has every unit you can imagine. I have just found out you can turn off the units you don't need which made me so happy I came straight here and left a 5 star review!

This has been my go-to app for years for all of my unit conversions. I have tried numerous other apps at times to see if I like them more or even just as much but I have never found one that I feel even comes close to this one. Keep up the good work!

I have been using this app for many years and I love it. I have it customized to only the categories and units I need. I did finally find some units I needed and would add: Tablespoons and teaspoons to volume.

I have used this app extensively over several years. Saves me time and confusion/frustration. Tonight, I found a small error. I emailed it to the developer. I'm sure there will be an update soon.

probably one of the most reliable apps for conversions. ive been using this app for years now. no glitch and still very very useful. and i havent met any conversion that it doesnt have. good job

They have completely mucked up the scaling on the numeric input its now not usable. Edit: since update its now back to its perfect usefulness!
