I've had this app for many years now. I use the free version and have loved how easy it is to use, import recipes, organize my week using the calendar, add items to my grocery list straight from the recipes, it is so customizable. It would only be better if I paid to have my recipes back up to google, then I could use it on multiple devices. I love that the recipe website is still listed at the bottom so I can go back and check the original. Thank you!
So easy to add recipes!! Most of the time I can just share a website (not copy and paste the URL) and it'll extract the recipe PERFECTLY!! Then when you have a recipe open, the screen always stays on so you can easily follow a recipe without touching your phone to unlock it with dirty hands. You can add categories to the recipe and then if you want to look at a specific category you can filter everything else out. So easy to share recipes with friends and family too! Hands down best recipe app!
I freaking love this app!!! The UI is fantastic. It's easy to get around extremely clear. The utility is amazing. Being able to add ingredients to your shopping list from any recipe plus being able to scale up or down recipes to how many servings you need... Perfecto!
Great app. Easy to share recipes from a website directly into the app with no fuss, it just figures everything out for you. App keeps the screen on while a recipe is up so that there's no messy hands touching your phone to wake it up and see the rest of the recipe. A nice future feature request would be some sort of integration with Amazon Echo Show devices so you can put a recipe up there. Ads are minimal and unobtrusive for the free version.
Great way to organize and sort recipes. Clean and simple UI, non-intrusive ads, runs without glitches/issues. I love all the detail you can add to your recipes, and the fact that it can extrapolate recipe data from websites to add to your own collection. Great meal planning tool overall
We all know how frustrating and full of pop ups and ads are on recipe sites. If you do manage to find a good one, you can upload it on this app and it takes all that garbage away automatically so you don't have to go through it the next time you want to cook it. It's pretty amazing it can find only the info you need, and leaves out the rest. 5 stars!
I didn't expect to use this app as often as I do. It's really good at ripping recipes from the web, neatly organized and with pictures. You can Google search for a recipe right in the app then save the recipe to your list with one tap. I don't know of any other apps like this and am glad I stumbled across this one.
This is easily a 5 star app. Their free version carries everything you need. Their premium allows no ads and cloud backup which I bought. Even pulled a recipe from a YouTube description of ingredients One thing I would like to see in an update is in the cloud backup if they could implement a notepad readable version of each backed up recipe. Obviously no one wants to think the app could ever disappear, but they'd like the ability to have a readable backup, not just a coded format. Thanks!
I purchased my app, so no ads (wonderful). It works so easy for me. I started keto 2 years ago to control my sugars. I love the recipes online, but not writing them down or storing them. This is a godsend. Best app I have ever used. Would give it a hundred stars for everytime it helps me save a recipe (over 300+). Love, love, love it. Thank you for writing such a brilliant app!
Love this app. All the functionality is there and ads aren't in your face. Will probably pay for back up ability soon as free content has proven it offers exactly what I want (without annoying me) and I am getting nervous of losing my recipes! For me this is the perfect balance of free/paid functionality to prove concept whilst understandingthe company needs to make money.
I've used this app for several years as a cottage baker and it's a true life & time saver. All my recipes, notes, tips & tricks, tools required, and more saved all in one - cross platformed - format. If you need a place to store your treasured recipes, look no further.
I haven't been using this for long yet but I am loving it. Super easy to find and add recipes and organize them. I opted for the paid version, the one-time fee seemed totally worth it to me to skip the ads.
It took a little bit of time to get started but the it was easy to use. I would like a getting started tutorial. I understand the categories but I don't understand what the tags are for. Found some really good recies.
I've been cooking professionally for decades. Great app captures with ease in the fly mid prep. Haven't tried all the features though but would love a "press and hold to edit" function in the categories/tags.
I'm having a difficult time putting them in a more specific category if I just share real quick therefore I'm looking through a lot of recipes to find the one I want to make. I do like that it keeps my screen from timing out when I'm using it
Love this app. Best awesome app ever and I've been through a lot of them. You see a recipe press on the picture and it automatically adds it to the app with all the details in the right places. Keep up the good work,🤩
I have saved 65 recipes to date. I like the ease of importing recipes and copying and pasting recipes into the app. The app makes it easy to customize the recipes and make them your own recipes by changing ingredients and amounts of ingredients in each recipe. I have not purchased the premium version of the app. I am finding that you can do everything needed without paying for the app. I am, however, considering paying for the app so that I can backup my recipes.
I love the ability to upload (and edit) recipes from websites. More features I love include ratings, adding pictures, adding to folders, sharing recipes, and the ability to add notes, nutritional information, etc. I use to romanticize recipe cards but this app really takes the cake 😏
Just started using the app but so far I think it will meet my needs. The copy and paste feature works extremely well. It imports the recipe exactly with an option to edit the recipe after importing.
So far, it is working well, however, it would be very helpful to add a box to check off where you are when making a recipe. It would be easier to keep up with ingredients used and steps performed when you have multiple things going on. That would get the 5th star from me.
Really amazing recipe app that checks all the boxes for me! You can add recipes from the web, add categories and tags, search by ingredients, create shopping lists, plan meals with a calendar, and much more! It is evident the team has put lots of care into the design and development of this project.
Great app. Some of the recipes don't download properly and have to be entered by copy and paste. For the majority of recipes transfers are great. Recommend this for easy saving of your recipes.
This is the best program sinced sliced bread! The premium version of the software allows me to find the best recipes and have them on hand immediately when I want to bake or cook something. I use it on daily basis to create meals to remember.
I have tried many recipe keeper apps but My Recipe Box is the one I found myself using regularly because it ticked all of the boxes for me: Easy to use, intuitive, fast and I like how the recipes are listed/filed with a picture. The free version is supported by ads but they aren't in your face and I would have been quite happy using the free version. However, and rare for me, I decided that I liked the app enough to pay for it.
I haven't had this app very long, nor have I explored many of the features. All I was looking for was an app that would allow me to easily save and access my own recipes and those I found online. For those purposes, I absolutely love it! Saving recipes from the internet is especially easy and works great. Simply copy the browser information for the recipe's web page, paste that into the app, and it does the rest. No more trying to re-find recipes online. Love this app.
This app is wonderful, the import function is working wonders with most websites (but there is room for improvement), most functions are accessible with the free version and in top of that the app doesn't flood you with adds. I just started using it a few days ago and didn't explore fully it's possibilities but so far the experience is great.
I'm only just getting into this but have already decided to go premium. This is a WONDERFUL app. You use keywords to search for an app on the web, select it, and the app collects the ingredients, directons and photos -- and nothing else! No interminable boring blog! No ads and pop-up videos! Even better is the ingredients are put into separate scrollable panels, so you're not continually scrolling up and down while using the recipe. I've been wanting this app for years, so glad I found it!
I like it! It's so easy to import recipes from all over the web. It interprets the recipes perfectly and breaks it down to ingredients, times and instructions. It even brings in the nutritional info and the cover picture. The hard part is getting the URL copied to the clipboard. I definitely recommend.
So far, so great. I had high expectations because I've rarely seen an app with such consistent great ratings and it makes sense. The app is super easy to use, the feature grabbing recipes from web links is *very* efficient, at least for the blog posts I've tried so far. I got the paid version just to get rid of the ads (though they didn't seem very prominent) because I wasn't extra expensive and the little I saw looked so good I could t wait to fill it up and I might as well do that ads-free.
