Cookie Clicker

So, cookie clicker, the original idle game cleaned up for a mobile release. The perfect place for it. However, this release has a number of crucial issues. One: lag and freezes. 2: lack of support. The game is unplayable after thr most recent Android update as it's zoomed in way too close. 3: no way to remove ads. (A small purchase to stop ads would be great) and a number of other minor nitpicks.

After the most recent Android update, this game was rendered unplayable. The resolution got all messed up and there are buttons you literally can't click on due to overlap, and they are necessary for progression. I can't really blame them for this, but please, developers, update this app. I really enjoyed it... once upon a time. I want to play it again.

Cookie clicker should be a perfect game for mobile, but clearly this was an afterthought. It's just so basic. Features that have been on the web version for years are missing here. Main issues: *No sugar lumps, mini games etc, *No option to save/load from a save file, *Updates are few and far between, *Because of the lack of new features, progression plateaus and it becomes a chore pretty quickly.

I unfortunately never had the honor of playing this game growing up, but I can see why people love it now. And I definitely see the problem with the prices being barely visible due to an overlapping issue. I do hope this is fixed in the next update so that I can see how to better manage my cookies. Besides the add that's always on the bottom and the overlapping this game is really good! It definitely helps kill time when I'm bored and unable to focus. Hope to see this game improve soon!

It's a great game, but recent phone updates have ruined the resolution. I can't fully fault the developer, but in its current state, it's unplayable without development support. I can't buy upgrades anymore, and it looks like I put it to a mode for sight impaired with how giant all the other buttons are. It's one of the best clickers otherwise. I would also love to pay to remove ads, but that's another story.

Used to like this game but recently the game decided to completely change resolution on me and I can undo the issue no matter how much I close or restart the app or my phone. Makes the buy/sell button overlap the upgrade button so no I can't buy upgrades. Been playing for half a year and now I'm upset I'm just going to have to quit forever. Not worth the investment of time if there isn't a way to optimize the game for screensizes correctly.

I've had this for months without a single ad. Suddenly a banner ad was consistently placed at the bottom of the screen, where I've gotten used to tapping to switch tabs. How convenient. Nor was there an option to buy premium or remove ads. While I appreciate the lack of micro-transactions, ad removal should always be an option. More so, if your app has ads, show them from the start, ESPECIALLY when you don't give an option to remove them. Uninstalled, not coming back.

I've now been playing this game for 381 days. It's very enjoyable and I return almost daily, but I feel that more things could be added from the PC version (as I feel I'm missing out), or have an optional account system to sync progress between two or more devices, and save slots to accompany. I love how optimised it is, but I'll generally play offline so ads don't block my view of the game.

Ads now? I've played this game for a week and it was silly and fun and full screen. After 7 days all of a sudden its locked into a windowed mode and there are ads. I've accidentally clicked the ad twice just trying to navigate the bottom bar. I'd buy an ad free version but that doesnt seem to be an option. I guess I'll just delete this game at 108T/s. Shame

Good game, honestly is a good game in general. It's fun, addicting, clears your mind and just a good game, but I ran into a problem with this game, it wasn't a performance issue or anything with the frame rate. It was the resolution, it kept zooming me into the cookie on the main screen and I couldn't buy any upgrades. But other than that its a perfectly normal game, idk if it has anything to do with the type of phone you have or if it's how big/small your screen is. But please fix this problem.

Loved the game up until recently. There's been an issue with the UI. Can't switch from the buildings to the upgrades tab. And the cookie tab is zoomed in too far, only way it stops is if I reset my phone. And even then, if I close the app and reopen it, it bugs out again

It really is a good game, and I enjoyed it for a long time, but there are two big problems with it. The first is that it completely stopped getting updated. I get that it is in its early stages and it doesn't have all the features which is fine, but the last update was about a year ago. Secondly, during a cookie storm my phone randomly froze while still accepting actions (it wasn't the app's fault) and I accidentally reset all my progress. It would be nice to have a code to put on for confirming

This is my favorite mobile app, it doesnt have a crazy amount of ads that interupt my gameplay every 30 seconds. The most that I've seen is a little popup banner at the bottom of the screen, and half the time I don't even remeber it's there. 10/10, other apps, take notes.

Like many of the other recent reviews, all of a sudden the resolution got changed and zoomed in the game. I'm unable to access the upgrades section and is hindering my ability to progress further. Please fix this issue and also add a no ads option. Otherwise great game.

I was completely addicted to the game for 97 days. Sadly, once you start getting near 10 nonillion, have 200 fractal engines and have gotten all but one of the heavenly upgrades, there is very little reason to play the game. You would have to wait nearly an entire month to allow you wrinklers to gain enough cookies to progress any further. Also the lack of feature in comparison to the desktop version is painful, and the game hasn't been updated in nearly 2 years.

Super fun and addictive! I used to play the PC version and the fact that there's an app version made me happy. My only complaint that's a little frustrating is that I feel like golden cookies spawn under the ad bar at the bottom quite frequently, which makes them unable to be clicked on. I've seen them start to spawn for a split second when I open the game, only to be blocked when the ad actually loads. If that issue gets fixed I'll switch to 5 stars!

A whole lot different than the pc version, this is still good idle fun, but very half baked. (Pun fully intended.) For the most part it's just a simplified and reformatted version of normal cookie clicker, but it has one MAJOR problem: there's no way to share your progress between devices. This is pretty annoying, and means that all your progress on this app is mortal, and will die with your device. If there were a way to connect to an account, save to a file, etc, I'd rate this much higher

This is kind of weird but I actually like this more than the PC/website version, even if it is missing a few things and has some bugs(haven't run into any myself yet). The clicking sound is a bit more satisfying and you can click with multiple fingers too. I literally only have one problem and that's the fact that it's a little too laggy. However, I don't think that's the apps fault and moreso just my tablet type. Pretty good overall and it's really damn fun

It's a great game that's been remastered into mobile. But it still needs all the pc special features. It needs spells, prisims, and the ability to dunk the cookie. Also the cookie texture looks wierd and 3D, but it's fine. You also need to have each of the buildings displayed like it is on pc. (With the grandma's being in their own little box, same for the rest) Thanks, I like your game.

Big fan of the desktop version for many years. This is really scaled back with very few features. What's really bad is two people in my house played this for weeks and both just randomly lost all their progress for no apparent reason. This is pretty disappointing and not rewarding to play, but I very highly recommend the free web based version or the one on Steam.

It's an amazing port of the original Cookie Clicker on the web! But there are some small problems: Some of the settings are gone and the minigames are all gone, although this may be because you had limited space to work with. But I still absolutely love it, and it makes cookies from your buildings even when the game is closed! Totally recommended for an idle game fan!

Very interesting incremental game that I am very glad to see on mobile instead of a browser only activity. Apparently it hasn't been updated in months so I don't know if the game is ever going to be brought up to date with its original but I would absolutely PAY to have the ADs removed. It's extraordinarily frustrating to tab out of the game when you accidentally touch the AD banner at the bottom of the screen because of its proximity to the menu bar resting on top of the ADs usual domain.

Love the game, but this app needs work. The banner ads take a while to load and when they do they push the rest of the UI up, so if you were about to tap something at the bottom of the screen then you end up tapping the ad. It runs slow and many visual effects don't work unless I reboot the app. This one is weird as it wasn't a problem for my 5 year old Xperia, but is for my 1 year old Pixel. On that note, it seems you can't transfer save data. I say give it a try, but keep expectations low.

This game was my childhood so I'm glad I could get back into it with this! My only issue is that something is causing the prices of things in the store to move up and overlap with the text that's supposed to be above it. It's not anything game-breaking obviously, but it's a little annoying. Also, as a suggestion to the devs, I would totally spend a few bucks to remove the ads!

This game fulfills everything you expect from it. It's a clicker game like the desktop version where you can spend days, weeks and month accumulating cookies. But it isn't identical to the desktop version. Upgrade descriptions have been change to fit tapping better (icons stayed), you can tap with multiple fingers at once if wobble is disabled, the amount of achievements is less than on desktop and you generate cookies endlessly when the app is closed. Happy tapping!

Game freezes very often. Cause is most likely due to a banner ad loading at the bottom of the screen. Minimizing game graphics does nothing to prevent this, but playing the game offline prevents the ad from ever loading and fixes the issue. Other than that I have not noticed any issues, but this is very irritating every time I load up the game to see a new golden cookie generate, the game freezes, and when I restart the cookie is gone.

It's cookie clicker, on the phone, except it is the ACTUAL cookie clicking game. One ad at the bottom, not that bad, but it lacks a truckload of PC features at the moment, which is respectable, considering how long it has been released for and the size of the dev team, but could do with those extra additions sooner or later. This game was meant to be played on the phone, props to you for getting it done.

It's an absolute classic, blast from the past... It's great idle game and it's really got a sense of accomplishment, but on the more negative side... It's a bit grindy at the start. I went from the alpha vision to the live and I'm mad that I can't import my alpha save in the live, but other than that, great game.

Classic cookie clicker. No extras. And that's fine, but there are a few bugs i'd like taken care of before a big content update. The banner ads load slowly and push up the ui meaning an accidental click happens more than it should. In a similar vein golden cookies can spawn off screen either behind the ui that just got pushed or so far on the edge of the screen that i can't click them with my curved edges.
