Cooking Diary®: Best Tasty Restaurant & Cafe Game

It's an addictive game entirely, but getting the red gems is nearly impossible after so far, without spending money. Not to mention the rediculous "challenges" that set you up for failure if you don't have boosts to get you through the level. I was enjoying the app till I got stuck on a level for two days now with no way in sight to pass it. Very disappointed.

The game is fun and challenging and all but once you hit a certain point (in my opinion) you can't move forward without paying for features in the game. Certain levels require certain boosters and purchasing even a nice shirt costs hundreds of rubies when you are occasional given one at the end of a level. I thought they were going to be used for upgrading your kitchen but you need them for clothes, boosters, events, etc. If you can't pay for it I really don't recommend downloading.

Fun, fast-paced, and challenging! The progression can be difficult sometimes. I love that there's ample opportunity for gems and banknotes, and upgrades are reasonably priced, not too difficult to get but not too easy. I also love the clothing options. Too often in these games, the girls are only wearing skimpy clothes, and I love being able to wear cargo pants!

Other restaurant games are inferior to this game! I want to clarify that "the ads" others have commented about are not ads but inside game offers that pop up that you can close immediately. The only ads it has are optional to watch for items but aren't necessary to beat levels. This game has a great back story, the design is great, there are extra things to help you move through the game. Yes, you might want to pay to get items and boards done quicker but not necessary to enjoy the game.

I dont feel that some of the features are fair, you give us say 10 mins free of the free boosters now and again..but you cant use them because you finish your level and then everything pops up at you, this event that event, this progress...its annoying. I think when the level finishes the clock should be stopped so you can use the time for the game and it only starts again when you press play. I really love this game but this is just ruining it for me

This will be my fourth edit and the improvements the team has made are amazing! Still it's expensive gem wise to upgrade your restaurant which is a little frustrating when your stuck on a level but otherwise the game is really good. I so wish the Creighton challenge would last longer as I usually can't get through them in the short time it's available

I really love it but recently it just got so much tougher and I am beginning to hate it. Games are supposed to be relaxing and fun but this has become so tough and complex that I am losing interest. I never spend money on a game and I have for this one, and truly..I am regretting it. I am not getting my returns. I truly suggest to the developers to go back to the levels where things were developing for them and maintain that as that was the winning point. Now, it's just frustrating.Such a shame

Very entertaining and so it is addictive but force ADS keep ruining the momentum of my game and everytime I play, it kicked me out and kinda restart that the progress I've played were lost. Please, ads are normal but ads in every end of level isn't okay and so so annoying so kindly fix this issue specially that bug that keeps kicking me out of the game. ADDITION: I must say, you've improved the game!, I mean, ads were gone and I am hoping that it would last, I enjoyed the game thankyou!

I used to like this game. This is one of the game I played for a long time (around some years ago), but now, the ads are killing me. There used to be no ads in-between stages, but now, every 2 stages, we need to watch ads. I used to voluntarily watch ads to fast forward time, but now I'm very sick of the ads and the amount of pop-ups. It's super annoying. Uninstalled, sadly.

I love this game but don't play as much as I used to cause sometimes you can get stuck on a level&unless you have rubies to upgrade kitchen or put towards some kind of an upgrade,you can't progress.Used to have no problem waiting it out,collecting small #of free rubies could get in various ways throughout the game,but it was taking too long to get the game open& going,having to wait out all popup deals,offers,announcements,etc. Upgrading isn't helping either.Still like to play every so often.

This game at first was fun, but now there is an incredible amount of bugs with it that infuriate me to the point of not wanting to bother with it. Events and levels are constantly being reset like you failed because of the ridiculous number of app crashing ads that pop up after each level which require a restart/close and relaunch of the app. It desperately needs to be fixed - it isn't fair at all to the players wasting time replaying levels they already won nor to the guild losing event points!

I really enjoy playing this game! Challenging, and so many different levels to try with a bonus of daily gifts and watching a few ads I find myself going to play several times a day. Edit: The update will not allow me to open the game and I'm upset because it made me lose my streak...please fix!

This game has an awesome storyline!!! But there are a lot of different things you can buy at the beginning. Could you make fewer of the, after a while it gets annoying. But other than that it is amazing. One more thing, they need to make some of the clothing, hair, accesories, ect less expensive.

Great game, but I will not make any more purchases in-game. The "continue level" screen needs a confirmation so you don't inadvertently hit the button when the level ends. Otherwise it costs you 20 rubies. Why pay for rubies if they're going to just steal them back? It's a very easy fix, but they decided to opt for greed and trickery rather than an honest "are you sure?" prompt. After bringing it up for more than a year, and many releases, without a fix, I had to draw the line. Poor form Mytona!

I've been playing this game for literally over 3 years. It's my favorite game but now it's almost impossible to beat levels. Why am I struggling on level 20 of a new restaurant? I upgrade multiple items at once and still end up short on coins. Really is a bummer. I don't want to stop playing but I might if it stays like this. Others agree, too. Please change it back to not being so frustrating and impossible just for money.

I think its a prettyfun game. The only downfall(s) I have seen is that when you watch ads, sometimes the game will close out and you have to start the reward process over again. Also, it's a little challenging to get a decent amount of rubies. Don't get me wrong, it's doable but it may take a little bit. Hang in there. Things start getting expensive, ruby wise, the more advanced you become. I feel like I'm scrounging for rubies every chance I get.

I really love this game. So many options of different types of restaurants, the challenges and tasty dishes. Upgrades superb and I enjoy all different type of options of getting rewards and don't get me started on the mini game. I would really love to give it a five star rating but not everyone is on Facebook. What about using your email address to save game. Plz fix this and the bug that delete game progress and have to start all over. Sigh.

This game is really fun to play and has a lot of different challenges and events going on all the time. I give it only 3 stars for a few reasons. Firstly the screen is entirely too cluttered all of the events are housed on the screen. Secondly, the "prizes" are misleading, if I have won a prize I should NOT have to pay for it, and if I need to use gems or if I have to make a purchase in order to get said "prize" it's not a damn prize it should be called a special pricing.

Great storyline & gameplay. Difficult to get rubies needed for upgrades, though -- would be nice if we could watch ads for rubies again (and more than just a few times a day). Ad crashing issue & event difficulty progression appear to have been fixed. Could use more balance in tasks vs. "completion" re: restaurant progression (which would help with the dearth of rubies situation). Overall, I really enjoy the game -- just wish I could play it more without getting stuck.

I love the game. It is a fun game to play, very entertaining and also addicting. I rate this 4 stars is mainly because of the ads. Every time I finished a level, and clicked complete an ad would pop out. I would not mind if the ad is 5-10 seconds long or I can skip the ad after a few seconds, but most of the time the ad would take 30 seconds, then I have to wait for another 3-5 seconds just to close it. Overall a great game, but the long ADS just annoys me and ruin the game for me.

There used to be watching ad option to fast forward the upgrade time. This option was available 100% before my very last purchase. After that purchase, it suddenly disappeared. I asked customer service and the answer was that the option shows up randomly. It is very hard to believe showing up 100% to 0% is a random thing. It feels like after you spend certain amount, the game assumes you are willing to spend more and tries to rip you off. This is extremely disappointing.

Loved this game and played for a few years. I didn't mind spending money on food trucks and path to glory but now I can't beat levels without using rubies. I shouldn't have to pay to just play. The game was awesome in the beginning. Latest levels shouldn't be so hard just because they are new. Sad to uninstall the app and leave my guild but it is just too expensive.

I really miss the old days when the game levels were not insane yet still challenging. I don't really like playing anymore because of the insane levels took the fun out of the game for me. Also the game has amazing graphics but it's really going towards the ages 10-15 age group with how kiddy the glory road tv show is going... also gems costs way to much which is my main reason as well for a 2 month break. I'm back but not for long.

Use to be fun but now they are adding more levels to upgrade....which means you basically have to buy.... now the game is all about spending money. It use to be 3 levels an item to upgrade.... now it 5.... ridiculous so I no longer will be playing. Also lots of glitches ironically when I should have been getting more rubies...again, they just want you to spend money on it. No thanks. They tell you that you can play without purchase but YOU CANNOT. what was the point in adding 5 upgrade levels??

I actually really love this game. I've been playing for about a year. It's a time management cooking game with lots of skills to level up and different restaurants. (There's also non-gameplay items to upgrade clothes, house, pet, etc). There's a story. There are guilds to be a member of where u get a lot of rewards & plenty of guild and non-guild events. I spend nothing but manage to progress easily enough. I only watch 2/3ads daily. For a free game, i think this one is doing many things right👌
