First rate sat nav app,the options for routing is a a great .Motorway lane displays, always puts you in the correct lane.Always re routes you if take wrong turn(no fault with app human error!!!) instead of telling you to turn around! Graphics first rate, and choice of voice overs great! Overall l would highly recomend CoPilot.
Removal to avoid motorways as made the app pointless as I've been using it for riding my motorbike for past 10 years, you may have a new algorithm to take into account traffic and road speeds but that don't help as I don't get stuck in traffic on a motorbike, I need to avoid motorways when I go out riding, also thire are motorcyclists (learners cbt) that are not allowed on motorway.
This is the best sat nav app I have ever used over 25 years of delivering and always recommend it to new or existing drivers . I have used it in Europe also and works perfectly. 100 % love it.
Accurate and really easy to set up and use. Pity it's not compatible with android auto but that's a Google issue..
Have now stopped turn guidance voices as advised, but not getting any warnings, eg over speed warning, even though it is all switched on in options.
Latest update broke it (and USA version). Runs up then instantly crashes back to homescreen! Unusable.
Now had this app on three phones, the customer care is fantastic and I love the fact this is off line...never let me down, and I have travelled a lot with it.
Functions well but recently the voice guidance does not work - had to reinstall twice.
Ok, but search engine is poor , cannot find lots of reference businesses. Use Google Maps, instead
User for 5 years, used to love it. Very disappointed to have vehicle speed profiles removed.
£35 or somthing then u remove it and replace it with this app was great now its a joke and u could have just left this one and made the new one this is like bait and switch and u cant say it isnt
When paid for the product.., you'll always get an updated version of the maps.
10 years ago it was awesome.. now Google Maps leavea it looking like a relic.
Couldn't do my job without it. A must for any multi drop courier drivers
Best app for I've used myself had it installed a number of years now, very happy with CoPilot
would give 5 but reroute is slow when you take wrong turn
they retired this app, the new app is just the same , it's now £13.99 per year
Now just returnwd to this app, the udates have made it almost as good as the original.
Excellent, use it everyday, never lets me down.
Love the old app. Useless now
Best satnav on a phone
Does what it says on the tin
It is terrible
Paid for it years ago only to be retired and now free version. Very bad
Excellent satnav. Gets you from a to b without any issues. Its reliable and efficient. I highly recommend it
Edit October 2018. Still the best sat nav badly compromised by the Yelp bug. Edit: new version (as of August the 9th 2017). Hopes dashed. Still hamstrung by Yelp. Maybe option to pay to use a functional seach engine? Was exceptional. Now Yelping. I've used Co-Pilot since 2008 (Windows Mobile, XDA Orbit 2) and it used to be an application that just kept getting better. Unfortunately, the on-line search function which used to use multiple engines (including Google) was replaced with Yelp, a business submitted address book of questionable accuracy and limited entries. My understanding is that this is through an exclusivity deal with Yelp (i.e. a poorly considered revenue stream). Support Guidance is to use a reliable search engine to find the address and copy / paste into Co-Pilot and to be nice and contact Yelp regarding omissions and errors (there's a form for that - good luck). I very much hope the next release restores the withdrawn functionality (I'm writing from version 10.x ). Meantime, I drop the review to two stars.
Back to 5* now that the crashing issue has been resolved with assistance from ALK support. Excellent sat nav app. Accurate, clear mapping. Easy to use, full postcode search. Loads of useful features. Back up and restore is excellent when changing handset.
Worst customer service ever. They refuse to accept when you report a fault and just fobb you off with excuses
This isn't an update, but a forced switch to their pay annually app. If you want to keep the use of your paid for application you may need to avoid this update! I now have to wait 12 months or only 14 days to see if I get charged for their "free" download. PS the new app was always free to download, but it seems to be very much a subscription app and rather expensive at that, especially when you consider that Google apparently does the same for free albeit with data costs as they don't do all.
