No Canada maps in North America region . There is only USA and it's dependent states. I have sent many Emails for to solve this issue but they only sent me a link that took me to nowhere . I decided to give up this app and uninstall this junk App and stick with Google app that now allows to download maps , so i can use it off line during trip to Canada.
Have tried several mapping programs with downloadable maps. Copilot is by far the the best, most usable navigation software I've found. I always repurpose my older phone as a stand alone GPS. (I don't like when GPS is talking over my phone conversation while I am driving.)
When will I learn? When I update Copilot, I don't know what I'm going to have afterwards. I applied in update and now it's asking me if I want to allow it to change the entire user interface, again. It's frustrating when an app update changes the entire behavior of the app. I hope I get to keep my waypoints.
It's a good navigation app for daily use with offline support and online traffic. I miss 2 features: 1. Integration with other apps, like to share address from google map. 2. Web interface to review and add favorites .
I used to like this App until ALK refused to make a needed map correction. Their version of the map of Maine, U. S. A. shows my home on both the wrong side, and the wrong end of the street. Now, if I had not lived on this street for a while, I might be willing to admit that I could have been mistaken. However, I have lived here since 1994! This being 2019, I am guessing that I am pretty cognizant of where I actually live. Therefore, I must preclude that ALK does not care about keeping their PAYING customers satisfied, and I am forced to uninstall the app AGAIN! Sorry, ALK, you could have been a contender.
Only download navigation program that actually has the correct street name behind my house. Big plus. Seems to be more accurate than others.
Worked perfectly without mobile data. Even notified when over speed limit.
Just like the UK one, the latest update broke it. Runs up and crashes straight away. No response from devs!
So what if it has transit info I haven't taken public transportation in 40 years. About as intuitive as my bmw manual
Good precise Maps would even be better if they updated their PC Miler GPS units

Keep saying " cannot find a valid route to your destination". It was working for the first week and then suddenly cannot do anything. Can I get my money back?!!

I am having issues moving to the replacement app. I launched the old app and get the new beginning screen click ok and it goes to step 3 Cloud Back Up and I get a message that could not connect to server. I am a long time Co-Pilot customer (PDA).
I used v8 for three years and liked it. This version has a nice UI but there are issues. Will only see about 90 contacts. Photonav & accuracy issue

Info update link does NOT Work, had to cooy m/paste to browser and remove period at end for it to work. -------- VZW LG V20...works fine !!

Looks like a lot of settings have been dropped in the new dumbed down UI Am considering rolling back to previous version. Also it now FC's and does not save settings on some items. The touted new speed warnings just disappeared and won't stick. Update 2018 - the route guidance has now gone into the toilet. It can't any longer guide consistantly- especially in urban areas. Get a competent programmer to fix it - really bad Update- its navigation bad out in the country. I use my TomTom as a CoPlt
Works well even on this old S3 I'm still using. Only issues I ever had was it being slow and only since the phone's hardware is old and there are other apps I use always running in the background. Clearing the ram using the phones built in managing feature does help with that however. I liked the interface after I had time to learn it and I liked the options I had for routing and map colorization. Overall a very good program. RIP and godspeed. Hopefully the new one is just as good.
