PLEASE NOTE: This app requires the Lightspeed Phone Controlled Helicopter that you then control with this app.
Fly the Lightspeed 3.5 channel, gyro helicopter with your smartphone.
You can fly the Phone Controlled Helicopter via the virtual joystick or via motion control (tilt your smartphone).
Up to 3 Lightspeed helicopters can be flown at the same time by selecting an available band (A/B/C).
The Copter Control App works with the Lightspeed helicopter and transmitter that are sold separately and not available on the Android market. This app on it's own won’t control anything unless your purchase the Lightspeed helicopter separately, but you can still download it to see what the control interface looks like.

The first time I tried the copter it worked. The next time it does not propel. I am not happy about this...
Still no support for the One M8 even though you promised it. Ridiculous. Also, the interface is disgusting and does not auto-resize to the screen dimensions.
Does not work on Samsung s7 yet but fine on my S5. Did contact makers about s7 issue and got a quick response. 4 stars due to s7 incompatibility but assured they are working on more additions
I don't know how you can write an app that is so device specific. It only has to make a sound out of the headphone socket. Is that tricky in Android? If you have to limit the choice, wouldn't you get it working on the reference devices from Google (the Nexus range)? I tried the app on four devices. Moto E, Nexus 5X, Nexus 7 (2013) and a HTC One (M8). Only two of those are on the compatibility list and it's not clear to me which versions (is it the pre-2013 Nexus 7 that works? Which HTC One is supported?). The blue light comes up on the transmitter but the helicopter won't respond. It works fine on an iPhone 6 plus (which I don't own so of no use to me). So I'll have to send the helicopter back. Update - I saw someone had luck with an extension cable. That does help! It can go up and down now. I'll try a longer one when I get home to see if I can then control the direction too - I have no idea why this makes it work better!
I have a note 5 and i cannot make it to work. MONEY WASTED Tried emailing the company never answered !!!
I had the app on my Samsung S5 and it worked great. I now have the Samsung S7 and cannot fly my i-helicopter. I have been waiting patiently for 7 months. Come on please update the app.

Just a shame it does not work with my nexus 6 or nexus 7 or my nexus 5. (And apparently the nexus 7 is supported!!! - nope)
Tried 3 phone 1 tablet worked only in one device and that only lasted a day shame as it was a gift

Nice but the the app needs to be updated big time with android 4.4.4 and ZTE zmax and other zte smartphones and others, get this app updated asp,!!!!! This app is not working with android 4.4.4 it only worked for a few days and now it is not responding at all. Please updated this app asp...

Just received this for Christmas 2014, still learning how to use it but I'm having difficulty making the helicopter simply hover. I have to make it spin instead to keep it one place. There should be a setting to reset the trim. Very good app though in general
Great rc and lots of fun to fly. Be carfull if not using motion control mode as sometimes when using the joy stick this can accidentally be activated and cause you to lose control. If this is ever fixed I will give 5 stars .
For a beginner like my self excellent it has taken me sums time to get the hang of it but now like it a lot one benefit of it is you don't have to be putting battery's in like you have to in a dedicated controller, P/S there was talk that at some stage there my be updates for the apps

I'm totally gutted. Got this as a Xmas present and it does not work with HTC one m8. Total waste of money. How can you sell something that is incompatible with so few phones
For HTC M8 update, must be 8 months now. What a rip off! ABSOLUTELY USELESS. DON'T BUY COPTER. Been in touch with dev, that appears to have been a total waste of time.
