Copy Me That

I began using Copy Me That about 5 months ago. Toward the end of 2021, I googled for online recipe boxes. I tried many different apps, but they didn't have the features that I was looking for. Copy Me That has all of the features that I want, while also being very intuitive and easy to use. Now, after using it for 5 months, I adore it! It's a fabulous piece of software! I've told all my friends and family about Copy Me That. It has greatly simplified my process of managing my recipes.

Great recipe app for downloading easily. Within the browser you can search for all the recipes you see and add to the app with a touch of a button. Directions for adding the copymethat button or browser extension is in the app or their website. Definitely go premium because you add scaling, printing and other features. We also want apps like this to last so pay to upgrade!

This is the best recipe organizer I have found, by far. I am very picky about how I want to organize my recipes, and I tried a dozen other websites/apps that didn't have all the functions I wanted, or they were too expensive. This one has pretty much everything and the premium version is very reasonably priced. The only thing I wish it had was a specific space for cook/prep time. Right now I just put it under description but it would be nice if there was a dedicated box for it.

After trying this out for a few days, I realized it was a fantastic app, well thought out and user friendly. It does all I could have asked for, and more. It didn't take long for me to sign up for lifetime Premium. Weekly menu planning and preparing shopping lists used to take several hours - now it is done in minutes. Schedule changes are a snap to make. I tell everyone about it and friends have signed up once they look at it. If you are a menu planner, this app is for you.

I absolutely LOVE this app!!! I tell all my friends about it. I tried other recipe apps and have always ended up uninstalling them because they don't work like I'd hope. I love trying new recipes and this makes it SO easy! It's easy to save them, you can categorize them (called "tag" on the app), rate them, add your own notes at the end of the recipe, there's a meal planner so you can plan your menu for the week (or longer) and shopping list where you can add the entire recipe to and then remove any items you already have easily. You can even add other items not related to your recipes to your shopping list. It also categorizes the items which makes it easy when you're in the store. My absolute favorite feature is that while using a recipe, it stays up on my phone, meaning the app doesn't allow my phone screen to go into sleep mode! This is a genius & super helpful feature!!! Before I would either use a recipe directly from a website or a recipe I had a screenshot of on my phone & I would constantly have to handle my phone to open it back up while cooking. I can't think of anything that I don't like about the app. Best of all is FREE!!! If you love trying new recipes & having new & old recipes all in one place try it, you'll love it!!! I love this app. I have 2 recipe cards boxes, magazine & newspaper clippings, favorites from cookbooks- it was all just a mess! Now, all my recipes are in one spot. I can access them from home, work, the grocery store, ANYwhere... It's perfect for solving the problem. I don't find it complicated at all- very straight-forward.

This app is AWESOME! I have lost so many recipes over the past few years that I had bookmarked or pinned because the blogger who shared them discontinued their website. This app is the equivalent of printing those recipes off except I can access them from my phone, with the added benefits of planning a grocery list around the recipes I want to make. Not to mention, you can add your own recipes as well. I just added a cheesecake recipe my mom has been making since I was a kid. No longer do I need to rely on the worn typewriter printed copy I had! The app makes it super easy to browse for recipes and save them to your account, adding notes for customizations or modifications you made so that you can remember for next time. Plus you can rate them and mark them to show which ones you've made before and how good they were.

I love this app! All of my folders full of scraps of paper and cut-outs from magazines going back to the '70s are now in one easily searchable place, with pictures. The great thing about the Internet is that while there may be no new thing under the sun, everything old will show up sooner or later. Someone somewhere will post that Clabber Girl quickbread recipe your aunt used to make, and with a click or two it's yours again. And sorry, recipe bloggers, I love you all, but sometimes I don't want to wade through your voluminous notes on how you came to discover, invent, or create a particular recipe, I just want the recipe. CopyMeThat cuts to the chase. I like the clean and easy-to-use design of the site too. 1496 recipes saved and counting!

Absolutely wonderful app. I have many recipes collected in 2 blogs and am now consolidating them in one place. What I love: easy to capture a recipe off the internet, the print feature, simple to edit and add notes, being able to add tags to make search easy, how easy it is to import photos. And another great feature is that I can follow a recipe on my phone and it will remain open on that page. I can't wait to print a cookbook. But the best is the excellent customer service.

Web UI is really nice...but the Android app fails miserably, primarily because if the font size (in Android Settings) is set to anything larger than "DEFAULT" the text and navigation menus are distorted and look terrible. Not everyone can read text when it's so tiny. I really hate to see this as I would like to purchase the Premium version. I looked at it on my wife's iPhone and it's much nicer there...but until the Android app improves, I'll have to pass. (Note to developer: Seriously, this could be a flagship app in its genre if these few things were fixed. I'm retired from the software industry). I'll gladly change my review to 5 stars if these items are ever addressed.

I love this app. I just got the premium because I want to switch from making meal plans on an Excel calendar to this app, and I wanted the monthly view. I also wanted to use the shopping list feature but I've found it completely unwieldy after using the OurGroceries app, so that's quite a bummer and so frustrating. I don't know why it has to be so difficult.

It let me store all my recipes on it then stopped opening. Now it just sits on the utensil screen that shows up when you open the app... unresponsive. Good thing I kept my paper books. Already tried uninstalling and downloading it. Edit: It started working again, but I still feel more secure with my paper notebooks after this incident. The app had no offline functionality during that period. It was terrifying.

This application is awesome! I tried a lot of recipe apps but I found Copy MeThat to be superior. It's so incredibly easy to get a recipe copied into the app! There are many smart options then to store them so you can set filters to search. You can also edit the recipe. I use the meal planner and shopping list features too. I use my larger tablet or laptop at home; then use my phone at the grocery store. So easy! So efficient! So awesome!

I absolutely love this app. It's so great to have all your recipes in one place and that they are shareable with your friends. I also love the fact that you can leave notes you can edit the recipe And you can change the servings and it automatically updates the quantities for each ingredient. I wish that it would show your most recent saved recipes first rather than having to go into search for them.

Only just started using this app so I will update in a month or so. But... So far I'm truly impressed. I'm on the free version and it does all I need but I'd like it if you could alter the servings so to make it easier to calculate when you're cooking for different numbers but that may be available on the paid for, just lazy really but I like this app so far. I'm on a keto diet so can incorporate less of recipes from all over! Really does make life easier!

The only recipe box I need. The app itself is basically just a website wrapper, and it's definitely not the prettiest app on the market, but is still the most useful recipe manager that I've found for my uses (a lot of clipping from google chrome). If it was a bit less clunky to use on mobile, it would be an easy 5 stars, but either way it's an incredibly useful app.

I love this app! It makes it so easy to save any recipe I find on the internet. I love being able to keep everything in one place and it's easy to search through my saved recipes. The meal planner and grocery list are very helpful with planning what I want to make for the week. My only issue is that I wish it could calculate nutrition info. Add that and this would be perfect.

It used to be a great app and I used it a lot. I even recommended it to several friends. However, in the past few weeks I get an error message saying the app won't load properly and to retry. It takes several attempts of retrying before I can get the app to open. Opening recipes I have saved has gotten slow also. I hope this can be fixed. It's very frustrating.

I love this app! It provides a very easy way to save and customize recipes, and add tags, notes or photos to personalize them. No need to have scraps of magazine or newspaper recipe clippings anymore. Now my favorite recipes are in one easily searched app, always at my fingertips. The copy function works great on both my Android phone and Windows 10 laptop. Nice work, Tine, developing an extremely useful app!!

Installed on all my devices, bookmarked on all my browsers. CMT is the recipe app I've spent forever looking for. It's beautifully laid out and easy to read. It's super accurate at picking the recipe out of every website I've tried it on, even horribly messy badly designed sites. I love that it saves the recipes in case the original page disappears BUT also keeps the page info, not just so I can refer back to it if I want to ask the author a question/comment on the recipe/check for updates, but also because it's keeping the credit with the maker of the recipe! I love that you can edit the recipe, altering line by line, choosing different photos, very easily. I bought the lifetime premium membership and have never regretted it. I love the recipe scaling so much!! I love the ability to make shopping lists that categorize items I need BY RECIPE (oh my god how many times have I gotten home with six bags of ingredients, pulled out 3, and gone "wait... WHAT was I making with these...???"!!!) I love the ability to be watching Netflix on my tablet, so let's just pull out my phone and pull up the recipe on that instead! If I could throw more stars at it, I would.

Fantastic idea, extremely well put together. I've only been using for a week, but I'm hooked and so taken by it's simple idea, easy to use, intuitive process. I have recipes saved everywhere on phone, tablet and hard copies and invariably have no clue where. Enter this app. I love the ability to edit the recipe, the front photo and add your own, the original website address being a click away, multiple user created tags, shopping list and meal planner feature. Absolutely brilliant app.Thank you.

I tried many similar apps and honestly none of them even compare to this awesome app. It doesn't have a sleek look, and lacks some nice-to-have functionality like the ability to scan pages from cookbooks and convert them into text, but it gets the job done. I have more than 100 recipes on it and am adding more all the time. The ability to organize recipes with tags made wonders to my cooking habits. I love this app!

Free version has a lot of functionality. I bought the lifetime subscription and it was well worth it. I use it every day. It is so easy to drop recipes onto the meal planner and have it add recipe ingredients to my shopping list for me. The best feature is how it snags a recipe for you without having to scroll through volumes of filler and ads like magic!

I love this app. I have recipes saved everywhere: books, emails, Pinterest, screenshot, etc. This app keeps everything together and cuts out all the blah blah blah on the recipe page. I can search, tag, organize to my little heart's content. Then, I can sort out dinner ideas with 5 ingredients under 30 minutes using chicken (my tags) and head off to the store to get what I need for the week! If I have to buy extra of something, I can find another recipe that uses what I have leftover!

I love this App. I have used quite few different apps but have found this to be the easiest so far. I save a lot of recipes and I try as many as I can. Easy to find and format makes it easy to follow and add notes if you want. I have quite a collection on another site but their upgrades make it difficult to use. Excited to try the cookbook feature. I LOVE this app!! It's one app that I've been using for years with no problems. It's made my life so much easier. I love to cook and try new recipes. I can easily collect recipes from all over the web & save them in the app. It easily makes menu plans & grocery lists. This app also makes it super easy to share recipes. Every recipe you copy has a link that goes right to the site that wrote/posted the recipe originally - so you can try more of their recipes or get notes or updates. Best app ever

I want to like this app. I like being able to search for recipes and save them, adding different tags and even creating a meal plan! However, when recipes are saved, it is not saving all of the directions for the recipe! I will try to troubleshoot. If i cant figure it out, than I'll be deleting the app.

The best recipe manager I've ever used! Only reason why it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that the navigation is kind of awkward. It appears to be a wrapper for the web app, but the back button no longer works as expected. The site/web app is a better experience overall, but the downloadable app lets you add new recipes when you can't use the browser extension. Fixing the navigation and adding the ability to share recipes directly to the app via Android's share menu would make this 5 stars for sure!
