Latest update: calories underestimated; constantly disconnects; won't sync when opening the app like it used to or it tries to sync but can't or won't. This is on a Pixel 6 Pro. Coros, any explanation?
With the latest update, the use of my Coros helmet is greatly diminished. The app doesn't recognize the helmet and I'm unable to control the light. Additionally, the app now now longer connects to the remote. Please roll back to the previous version.
Shows many details in a format that's mostly easy to understand and includes helpful tooltips. Edit 21.12.2021: the Bluetooth issue appears to be fixed. That might also have something to do with my phone updating to android 11. If I turn Bluetooth off and turn it on again later, many times it cannot sync with the watch again. Then you need to restart both devices, which is annoying. Switching to a newer AVRCP version helps a bit, but the basic problem is still there.
Ultra Reliable and fast! BUT it lacks some features! Mountaineering watch without 3D maps??! That is standard in many much cheaper competitors! Everything else is really good. And another thing could be improved but probably on the device side, It would be nice if that smart watch would be smart enough to know if you on the street or Highway traveling more than 20 miles an hour the hand movements are probably not the steps?
It's a great app and I've grown to really enjoy it (pairs with Strava so that's all I need) . My only gripe is I wish it was possible to view the charts and metrics in portrait mode rather than having to rotate the phone every time, it makes the experience a little less streamlined sometimes.
It's an ok app but not as refined as the Garmin app. For example, it rarely gets my sleep duration right and you can't edit this, so it's not too reliable. Other aspects of the app are pretty good though and it seems to be improved on a regular basis. Note, the app is not able to login if you have an active VPN connection.
Update: as of Jan 2022 I have no complaints - the app does exactly what you want it to, no annoying popups. Old: It used to be a good app, but the latest version is so annoying I gave it a 2-star rating. No, I don't want to run it in background all the time. No, I don't want to receive notifications from this app. I don't want to see annoying nagging warning popups about it every time I run the app. I just want to see my workout stats and sync with my watch when I need it.
The app, after the last update notifies me non-stop as it tries to connect to the watch and I'm not wearing it and not near it. I have turn off notifications to make it stop. Please fix this. I know when I'm not wearing the watch!
Doesn't connect to watch easily. Earlier I thought it's my phone blutooth issue but even after trying 3 diffrent phone problem is still persisting. Sometime it gets connected but 60 to 70% times have to restart phone or with several attempt s required.
I bought my Apex Pro 2 years ago and haven't looked back. The amount of improvements and active listening to customers is what makes COROS a great company. The app keeps on improving, having more and more features, without losing its easy navigation. Long battery life and precise GPS are a bonus. So is the customer care. 🤗
Hello coros, i really enjoy using the watch and the interface of the app, but i really would appreciate if the watch had a live updating feature to the phone app in order to use the phone like for example a bicycle computer when cycling outside, i would like to look at my phone and see the map, speed, heart rate, average speed and power and other metrics without looking at the watch, in other words if you can make the watch not just running specific. keep it up, thanks alot
No integration with Google Fit or Withings Health Mate, also hate the way you have to change orientation to view the data. Very poor, since I got this for running, but it won't sync with the rest of my data without using a 3rd party 'Health Sync' app. If this doesn't improve, I will go with Garmin or Polar next time. Very disappointing experience.
Great app, I would like to see an option to pair coros to bike trainers like kinetic, or apply information from apps like zwift to coros workouts.
Overall syncing very fast with watch it would be great If can add more third-party apps like HDOR or Google fit
Nearly perfect app for a great wearable and it only gets better with time as good updates are rolled out every so often.
I'm pleased with the Coros watch, despite its small size, it is on a par with the Garmin 645 - my go to watch for training. Having used the Coros alongside the 645 I have been pleased to see the stats are on a par with each other. It is taking some time to get used to navigate around the interface which is far from intuitive. For example stopping an activity requires more than just a stop command. I have had the watch for 2 days, and hope it will become more intuitive in use.
I hate the ux on this app. So ugly and not user friendly. Also annoying how it goes to landscape mode only when clicking to view further stat breakdowns. Wish the export feature to share your runs was better. There needs to be an option to just share the a few stats and not the whole freaking breakdown. Make this app better!
Bad application. Update failed. Cannot be connected to a smartphone multiple times. You caused me to have a bad perception for this coros brand. Maybe I will switch to a better and better quality garmin brand and no longer make coros.
It keeps asking for permission to read all my notifications. You don't need that access to just send notifications. Really dodgy.
App is good, however, constantly loses bluetooth connection. I have to forcestop the app to get it to reconnect. Please fix.
Missing basic features Review of both app and watch features 1. No disconnect and reconnect vibration. This is a basic feature on every smartwatch I've had. When you walk too far away from your phone and disconnect. Watch doesn't alert you 2. Battery indicator should be standard on every watch face or at least have the option to add it. 3. Poor selection of watch faces that are not customizable and 4. Alarms can't be set on the app but on watch only
